I had the most amazing experience with Tiffany and Cheeky Kakes for my besties baby shower. My hands were full and I was out of the country while still wanting to do the best I could in between for my bestie and Tiffany was there every step of the way and took the reins for me and delivered the cutest diaper kake in the nick of time. From the very beginning she was top notch in clear communication and transparency on each detail/part, and she will include you in the selection process and discuss it with you along the way so that there are no surprises (except for good ones!!) which unfortunately I have experienced with other companies before (led to believe one thing then not so good surprises! ). But with Tiffany there was none of that and she delivers the best experience and includes you every step of the way so you can participate in preferences and know exactly what you're getting (and if anything it'll be even better when you see it in person :) ! ) it's no wonder that I have heard that celebrity clients will all even go to her for their diaper kakes as well. You have the option of picking up at her store or to have it delivered. I say pick it up at her store when it's done if you're able to because not only does it prevent transit damage concerns but you'll also get the chance to see how freaking cute and magical her shop is ! The videos I was able to squeeze in don't do it any justice. Needless to say, everyone loved the diaper kake the day of the baby shower :) and I was stress free in regards to diaper kake duties, all due to Tiffany taking over. Social networking does work! I found this homegrown business via a friend's Instagram post. I wasn't looking for a baby gift but I needed one and WOW did I find the most creative and lovely option. CheekyKakes are nothing like the ordinary "diaper cakes" you see at showers. They are lovingly made works of art. The minute I saw them, I had to have it for my friend's new baby. They have Mommy Gifts too! Each CheekyKake is designed for you based on the colors, look and feel, theme and the baby gifts you want to include. They come in multiple sizes and they start at about $100. If you're not up for a full on Kake, you can get buckets, which are actually "bouquets in a bucket". Adorable. So what is a CheekyKake? They are wonderfully, hand crafted creations where EVERY ingredient of the Kake is made with usable baby items. The Kake designed for me contained: - 150 Eco Friendly Diapers were the layers of the cake made by wrapping the diapers in soft and lovely receiving blankets and one in a reusable polka dot hat box. Per the recommendation, I went with Size 3 diapers, so the parents didn't have to disassemble the Kake right away. - the baby's name spelled across a layer in removable glitter covered letters - the bows were actually hair clips and the ribbons can be reused as well - there were wash cloths molded into little flowers adorning the bottom layer - atop the Kake, was a the softest little stuffed lamb wearing real little booty socks and baby sunglasses. but what really topped off the Kate (literally!) was a hand crocheted newborn crown - WOW! Tiffany (yes, we have the same name - funny coincidence) asks you questions and helps you build exactly what you want or you can go with a theme from her site of previous Kakes. What a find! Cheeky kakes will work with you and your wants/desires to make a showstopping baby gift. I was looking for diaper cakes or something different and cute to take to my girlfriend's shower and found cheeky kakes on yelp. I wasn't sure if they were in business because the last review was a few years ago but I crossed my fingers and they picked up right away. I spoke with the owner, Tiffany who was super friendly and put me at ease immediately. I asked her if she could make me something in just a few days on the budget that I had. She asked me what I wanted as these are custom designs. I told her I had no idea as I have no kids/don't know anything about babies and just wanted to leave the creating up to her. She was super helpful and suggested that she could make a floral bouquet made up of all things baby and that she would send me a picture before she made it just so I could see, I said that the bouquet sounded great and was set to order it. I also wanted to know how much a full kake would cost just out of curiosity, knowing I couldn't really afford it as they are pretty elaborate. Cut to later that night, she emailed and then called to let me know that she just got materials to make a smaller kake and offered to make me one that I could pick up the day of the shower! She felt that since this was a really good friend, that the mini kake would work better for the occasion. She really cared so much about making sure that I came away with something special. And she didn't disappoint, the mini kake was sooo adorable, a two layered "kake" with a baby lamb that was rocking a bandana and baby socks. Not your typical diaper cake as the diapers are wrapped in receiving blankets and other baby items. It also came with a card that listed all the items and how to disassemble it when the items were needed. As I was carrying it over, I could hear people in the parking lot, not going to the party, whispering how cute it was. The look on my friend and her husband's face when they received it was priceless. They started playing with the lamb I didn't realize that it also had a little rattle. I highly recommend cheeky cakes not only for the amazing products but because of the out of control customer service you get with Tiffany, she treats you like a million bucks. We have been trying for our second baby for over 3 years, so when we found out we were pregnant again we were so very excited. I just had my baby shower that my mom threw for me this past weekend, and I cannot say enough amazing, wonderful things about the diaper cake that was made. It is absolutely breath taking. 1) Tiffany is Awesome! 2) Her products may be even cooler than she is... and that's saying a lot! Tiffany made me a really amazing "flower" bouquet for a friends baby shower. They were having a Christmas baby (a girl) and I really wanted something that was going to be totally different from every other gift they were going to receive, that also incorporated a bit of a Christmas theme without being cheesy. She was absolutely brilliant. She created this amazing bouquet made out of baby socks (Juicy brand I might add), onesies, bibs and washcloths. It was stunning and it's amazing that she was able to make all those baby items legitimately look like flowers. The attention to detail was just incredible. She even stuck some really adorable pinecones sprinkled in gold in there to incorporate the Christmas theme! The daddy-to-be got teary-eyed when he saw it! Bottom line, if you know anyone who is having a baby and you want to celebrate this amazing time in their life, then you need to give them a Cheeky Kake, because actually diaper cakes aren't even all she has to offer. I found this place on yelp as I was looking for a place who does amazing diaper cakes and saw the amazing work that Tiffany does. So I called as I really wanted one done on the same day as I was going to visit my maid of honor in the hospital after having two baby boy twins :). I was told by Tiffany that I couldn't have that done the same day which is understandable as she puts her amazing talent towards all of her orders and needs time to make them all look amazing. After that I was frustrated as to what to buy and take to the hospital keeping in mind I didn't want to take flowers because she already had tons of flowers in her room I wanted to take something that's cuts and would be useful for her afterwards as well instead of flowers that would die a few days later and also not very good for the newborn babies to smell in the hospital room. So I received a text from her suggesting another idea of work that she does besides the diaper cake, it was like a flower bouquet in a bucket made out of baby socks, beanies, wash clothes, spoons, useful things for a mom to use like Chapstick and pocket mirror, even 5-10 diapers rolled up in the bucket.. ALL DESIGNED IN SHAPES OF FLOWERS SND BUTTERFLIES, etc. As that also takes time she had it done for me in one hour!!! She really hooked me up and went out of her way so I had something to take to the hospital besides flowers! She was very nice and really showed me she cared and went an extra mile by texting me different ideas and pictures of examples and had it done so fast for me!
