When I arrived, she explained sugaring to me and had me lay down to get sugared. Since it was my first time, and the hair is thicker there, it did hurt but I knew that was to be expected. It was worth it though. She made sure to get all the hairs, even tweezing out some that were left and made sure it didn't awkwardly cut off with my upper back hair (really considerate). She also made sure to show me the results with a mirror so that I could see for myself. It was very clean. Before I left, she told me about aftercare, as well! The second time that I went, it barely hurt at all, which was a HUGE difference from the first time. I had to go to a different sugaring place recently, since clients aren't being accepted at this time (understandable), and despite the other place's high rating on Yelp, my experience was much different and extremely disappointing. They sugared me in an uncomfortable position, did it too quickly (not caring for detail), and didn't even show me how it looked like at the end so I didn't see for myself until I got home, and there was still hair. It was really frustrating, but I'm glad that my experience with Angie has made me aware of what GOOD sugaring service is. I hope to go back as a regular once she starts accepting clients again!
