Went there at five pm there was a waiting time of 1 hour. Went again at noon a 45 minute wait. Went at three pm and got a seat right away. Had the BBQ ribs very good. Great portions, onion rings are battered fresh right there, not out of a box. Great drinks, BUT if you order the manager comes out to see if you can order a fourth drink. We had a reservation for 20, we got there and they had given the room to someone else, the pretty much call us liars, called and try to talk to the manager and or district-manager and the never called back, the hostess had a terrible attitude and the manager did not try to help, ended up with my daughter crying on her graduation day. First time visiting for my husband and I. Cannot say enough good things. Customer service was excellent, from the hostess seating us to the waitress who took care of us. I ordered the "adult" grilled cheese sandwich (which contains beef), with fries, and my husband ordered breaded catfish with red beans/rice and french fries. My grilled cheese was outstanding and I was pleasantly surprised that the french fries were not oversalted as some places will do. My husband loved the catfish and said the red beans and rice were some of the best he had ever had. Another pleasant surprise were the prices. Very reasonable. We were happy to be able to go out and get some outstanding food for two at less than 20 bucks. That just doesn't happen very much anymore if you go to a decent place to eat. Our waitress was very nice and spent time talking with us about how the food was made and what were some of the best lunch specials. We were even brought a free dessert to try (bread pudding made with a mouthwatering sauce, poured over a butter croissant). The atmosphere was higher scale than your average casual dining place and we enjoyed watching the saltwater fish in the tank while waiting for our food (which was a short wait.) All in all it was one of the best casual dining experiences we have had in a very long time and the food was outstanding. We will be back. Would love to see a Cheddars open in Milton. It would be a hit with their excellent food at decent prices. No more average food at high prices for us. Cheddars has won over some new customers. Since they are fairly new at that location, let's hope they can continue this level of service in the future. read more

I have been 3 times. 1st time when they opened was great. Strike 1 was the second time we went. The booth was the last booth in the corner of a dungeon which meant slow service since NOBODY came by there. The medium rare steak was medium raw and cold. The waitress didn't know whether the desert had peanuts or walnuts. Dumb since peanuts kill people who are allergic. Strike 2 was today and the chicken alfredo. It was brought out by a food runner and looked like it does when you take the leftovers out of the fridge and the alfredo sauce is all clumped together and gloppy before you zap it in the microwave. That should be so obvious when they grab it to bring it to the table. UNACCEPTABLE. Lots of staff running around but service is still slow. New faces all of the time so they must have turnover. All in all I can get Applebees food at Applebees. Cookie cutter at best. Always crowded do to location NOT quality of restaurant. read more

So, after much deliberation at work we decided to get Cheddars. Well, we were very disappointed. We have a 30 minute lunch and when we got back to the office our order was not correct. We ordered a half of a sandwich and salad. The salad was not fresh, the lettuce was turning brown and wilting. The sandwich wasn't even a half of a sandwich. It was a quarter. So we decided to call the company.. We spoke to Phillip, the manager, all he had to say was that is a half of a sandwich and wouldn't do anything to fix this. He did not care we weren't happy about our order. The manager needs to learn what proper customer service is. Needless to say, we won't be back. read more

The prices and food quality are alright. The service was terrible. This business needs a complete over haul on its staff. We waited 13 minutes for the check and another 7 minutes for the wait staff to bring back our card. Completely unacceptable. We never had the same waitress or waiter twice. We could see several meals being left in the window just waiting for a runner to pick them up. Displeased with restaurant hopefully management will get it turned around. The food is very decent, The only thing that's not decent is the wait time. Other than that it's pretty good overall.

My boyfriend and I stopped in here for a drink and appetizer while we waited for our oil to get changed at the Sears next door and we are sorry we didn't come here sooner. The atmosphere is very clean and inviting with several TVs in the bar area to watch if you are into sports. The hostess greeted us in a very friendly manner and immediately took us to a booth in the bar. Our server/ bartender Billy was friendly and attentive as well. We found the prices very reasonable and the menu enticing. We ended up only ordering the salmon salad because we had other lunch plans already but we loved it and will definitely be back. Cheddars is one of those places that are hit and miss. Fortunately this time it was close to a hit. Service was attentive, food was good, not great, but good, and came out quickly. The Baked Potato soup was very good. The Buffalo Chicken wrap was interesting, it had pickles on it, but flavorful. Went to this place last Friday night. Even though we made reservations, we still had to wait, standing at the front for about 45 minutes. Our server was a blond lady that took our drink order and brought them to our table 25 minutes later! Then she left us and came back around 15 minutes later and took our food order... From the moment we sat and got served I would say we got our food over 1 hr later ..We were all very unhappy with our service. The food was very good, I would say excellent for the exception of my grilled shrimp been replaced by little Chinese shrimp . I ordered fish and shrimp and was expecting the shrimp to be bigger and better quality. She said she threw in a couple of more shrimp, like she did me a favor ... The restaurant is very nice, the food is good but if you are hungry and expecting your food to be served fast ,this is not the place for you. I cannot say enough great things about this place! I normally get the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and Mac n cheese (carb overload!) everything is so fresh. The breads On the steak is so good I could probably eat it without the steak lol, not really but it's so stinking good! My friend usually gets the fried shrimp (and loves it) but decided to get the ribs last time. She got a full rack with 2 sides for only 15 dollars you cannot beat that! The prices are very reasonable and the good is 100% worth it. The staff is always very friendly! I highly recommend eating here as it is well worth it! read more
