This is my first time eating at cheddars and I wasn't sure what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the service, and the quality of the food for the price. We were a party of six and our server couldn't have been more pleasant. She was attentive and smiling and had a wonderful demeanor. I asked for the chicken sandwich, which is not on the dinner menu, however, it is on the lunch menu. I was so excited when they obliged and said I could get the chicken sandwich. The chicken itself was moist, tender, and just overall delicious. I would return.

The staff, from the to-go counter to the bartender, is amazing. The food is delicious. The service is quick.

In the mood for simple comfort food so stopped by here and gave it a try. Ambience is welcoming, server friendly. Tried the chicken pot pie and it was delicious! I will come back again and try out the other recipes.

Weeknight dinner. Walked in. Greeted and got seated right away. This is just me and my preference, but the restaurant isn't too well lit. Seems dim for us. But that's my personal opinion. Plenty of parking. Restaurant was busy. Sat for a little bit, tried to look over the menu but the menu was really extensive. Our waitress came by and grabbed our drink orders. Sweet tea, water, and an adult beverage. We were also given the complementary butter croissant. I thought they were suppose to come out warm, it came out to our table almost cold. The warm honey butter was far from it. Total disappointment. The thing that we were really looking forward to the most honestly. Ordered our entrees. Fried fish, ribs, grilled shrimp. Got our sides, loaded baked potatoes, and the broccoli casserole (which was absolutely amazing!), and corn off the cob. Service throughout dinner was fine, she tried to check up on us often, but we'd have to flag her down for things we needed as it took her a while to make her way back to our table. Service could've been better, the croissant could've been warm/hot. But other than that, we finally after driving by here all the time, had the time to pop in for dinner. We may pass on this location as the one in St. Pete really set the standard high for Cheddars.

Ok, let's start where every Cheddar's meal starts: those warm buttered croissants! Yes yes yes, they are amazing!!!! I took my teen and a friend to have lunch and I sat in another table so they could chat. After my croissant, I ordered their chicken wrap and I have to say it was a larger portion than I expected. Flavor was good and the server was super nice as well. Parking is plentiful as well. I am pretty sure I will be back!

F Raising Canes, F Popeye's, F Chick Fit A, F Zaxby's, F Huey Magoos, F Chicken Guy, F KFC, and F any other chicken tender place. I hear by decree Cheddars Scratch Kitchen to be the King of Chicken Tenders. They also have pretty reasonable prices in comparison to some of the places that are just overcharging like crazy. They still bring out complimentary honey butter croissants which are a great start to any meal. Service is still great as well. I was thirsty and he kept up with my refills like a champ. Also, you can pay right at the table with their little TV thingy. Easy Peasy! They have a pretty good drink menu too with a Painkiller (limit 2) and other concoctions that won't break the bank. I really need to look into their happy hour too! In the immortal words of The Terminator... I'm coming back for more tenders! KOCT!

Went on a Monday night where the restaurant was pretty empty. ordered 6oz sirlion with corn and soup, chocolate Cake sundae. The good: food had great flavors and price was reasonable, can't forget the yummy croissants The bad: meat was undercooked and service was extremely lacking. Couldn't even get a refill of water.

Wow just wow. We came back for a second time and we had the best waiter hands down. I came in with my brother and my daughter and we have the same as always. My steak was on point juicy and tender with just a bit of spice. They came out quick and fast. Our waiter was so sweet and kind very professional and punctual. I likely to say best Sunday dinner for the night

A good spot for a casual lunch or dinner! For anyone who likes traditional American food in a nice setting, Cheddars is the place. Their portions are big and their food is always a hit. Plus, if you sign up for their rewards, you get free Chips and Queso! I usually get the Grilled Salmon ($14.99), which is so good, but I decided to go for the 6oz Sirloin ($13.99) this time with mashed potatoes and a caeser salad. The salad had the perfect amount of dressing, and the mashed potatoes were so good with the skin included. My sister had the Half Rack of Ribs ($16.29) and they were so tender they fell off the bone. The Dijon Chicken and Mushrooms ($15.29) were also really yummy, as was the Country Fried Chicken ($13.49 or $15.79 for double the chicken). And don't even get me started on those FREE sweet buttery Honey Butter Croissants! Our server was helpful and charismatic, and overall our trip was great! Definitely give them a try.

So, I have driven by Cheddar's a million times but never tried it. That changed yesterday after a friend advised me that they have "the best chicken tenders ever." I needed a good tender because our local Bojangles just burned down. Let me tell you, he wasn't kidding. These were straight up incredible!! They tasted so fresh and perfect I really couldn't believe it. The fries were also amazing. Honestly, I wasn't even really able to get to the slaw because the other stuff was so nice and filling. This place is really a hidden gem. The service also rocked. I unfortunately am experiencing a health issue at the moment which renders me barely able to speak...the bartender was extremely accommodating and patient with me. It was a great meal. I cannot wait to return.

Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen is a restaurant chain that started in Irving, Texas back in 1979 and has expanded into over 170 locations across the United States. The company was started by Aubrey Good and Doug Rogers and has since been acquired by the restaurant giant, Darden Restaurants. Cheddar's Scratch Chicken offers a menu filled with American comfort food favorites and they have a decent price point. Favorites like country fried chicken or steak, chicken pot pie, fried fishand more. They also have a decent burger. The staff is friendly and this particular location is conveniently located on East Colonial Drive (State Road 50) close to Woodbury Road and is in the same shopping plaza as the Publix. All in all, I would definitely recommend this particular location of Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen and for being a chain restaurant, this is a good choice.

They have a few nice craft beers on tap and the most amazing hummus platter ever. So many places give you a tiny dollop of hummus, a few crackers and if you're lucky a few cut up carrots. Not here, you get a giant amount of hummus - you get house made lavash - and you get beautiful baby medium sized carrots and all of that is only $8 on happy hour. The hummus is very flavorful with a tiny kick and the lavash is super crunchy with an amazing seasoning on it that reminds me of "everything bagel seasoning". For my entree, I got the chopped elk medium cooked. It was fantastic. Very delicious and almost tasted like a really beefy meatloaf. Not gamey at all. The sauce drizzled on it was so savory. I wished there were more mashed potatoes underneath because those were amazing too. It was also a very big portion. Definitely recommend. Would come back again and try something else or even order that again.
