I'm honestly extremely disappointed with my experience at Cheddar's today. I work in the service industry so I try my best to be patient and kind to all staff but my patience was ran extremely thin today. To begin I sat at a high top that I had to wait for to be cleaned, and I waited for about for about 5 minutes with no service, I realized the bartender was very busy and decided to wait for an actual table. Once I sat, I placed my whole order (app, entree & dessert) and got my drink. Everything was okay until I waited about 15 minutes for my food and when it came they only brought the dessert. I didn't get my appetizer, or entree or anything just straight to dessert. I only took about 3 bites and the rest of my food came out at once but I ended up having to box everything up. I was really looking forward go just sitting and enjoying my full meal but instead I wasted about an hour in the restaurant and didn't even actually enjoy any food in the restaurant. I love the decor. Food is always on point and drinks are strong. Your wait time on the weekends may be 45min-to 1.5 hr long depending on the size of your party. Grap and a drink by the bar it will make your wait time seem much shorter or head to Target to do some window shopping. They will send you a text when your table is ready. read more

I'm not sure how this establishment stays in business but evidently business is booming. The wait was wack, the service was wack, the food was wack. The poor waitress (maybe her first day) didn't even know they served Miller lite? We got there a little before 8 and did not walk out until after 11:30 ! To me that's just shy of a part time shift at any job. Cleaning products at our table that we had to ask to be moved because we could smell them. Skip the house "strawberry lemonade". So let me tell you, this is our first time here, and the experience was not a pleasurable one. The waiter took our order and we were waiting forever for our drinks. The silverware was dirty, when we got our food, it was not hot. The staff also need to practice table etiquette because reaching over a consumer to place entrées on the table is unacceptable. The pot pie was watery, the burger had no cheese and was cold, the shrimp was cold, the pasta was cold, and the dip was cold. One of my guests did not receive her salad. We were not the only table that experienced poor service; there were 2 other groups/ tables that had the same issues. The manager, Mark (who didn't identify himself), was called to the table and notified of the issues. His only response was, " i will see what's going on back there." At the end of the meal, we did get a discounted meal, but that doesn't change the experience. As it stands now, I would not recommend this location! read more

Cheddar's was Awesome tonight. I took my friend girl here and her daughter for dinner since we were out shopping. I haven't been here in awhile so she was like "Yes, let's go." We walked in and was greeted. We sat and chose our drinks. The waitress came and took our drink orders and dinner selection. Ambiance/staff- The restaurant has a really huge and beautiful fish tank built in the wall, I loved that. Also the restaurant was really clean and the employees were super friendly. The lighting was great, customers seemed happy just like me and my party, and colors of the restaurant was pleasant. Drinks- I ordered a strawberry lemonade, my friend ordered a frozen strawberry margarita and her daughter ordered a strawberry lemonade like me. The lemonade was great and my friend loved her adult beverage. She said it was just the right amount of liquor in it. Entree- I ordered double broccoli, Grilled tilapia and shrimp. My friend ordered steak and shrimp, broccoli and a potato. Her daughter ordered Mac and cheese, broccoli casserole, and key west chicken and shrimp. I didn't take a pic of their food since they had already put ketchup and etc on their food, but I did take photos of mine. Outcome- When I say every bite of the food was well seasoned, my gosh it was really good. I'm a picky eater and if it's not good, I'm going to say it. But my food was really delicious and my friend and her daughter said the same. You didn't need to add anything to the meal. My food had mango salsa for the topping and grilled shrimp. White rice was served under the fish and shrimp, but since I'm not a rice eater, I didn't eat much of the rice. ***I ate every bit of my food excluding the rice. :-) I took home for my son the honey butter croissant. I'm allergic to honey, so I didn't eat any at the table. They used to be free, but since they are extremely popular, you have to purchase them. If I had to do it all over again, I would order the same entree but no rice. We will definitely be back. read more

Absolutely horrible experience. I have always loved cheddar's but I will not return to this location! Our server was polite but we waited over an hour on our food, literally people were seated after us and were receiving their orders and there was no wait at all. We complained and got a manager (I don't know if he even said his name) we expressed this concern and he apologized and comped a whole 6.00 off our ticket (15%), it was almost insulting! He did offer an appetizer but if we waited an hour on food God knows how long that would've taken! And the icing on the cake is that the food came out WARM! We ordered a desert and most definitely canceled that! Not only would I not come back, but I wouldn't recommend anyone else to waste their money. Spoke with a manager about not at least getting our drinks (which were all non-alcoholic) and all he could do was apologize. TRASH. They need to shut this ish down. We had Raven as our server and she did Excellent food took over an hour for a burger and kids tenders whoever management is sucks the five stars isn't for the establishment it's for raven very kind very polite and very understanding she's actually the best server we have had since moving down to the mcdonugh area she's has great customer service skills to bad she has to work in a nasty place that they call a corporate establishment but we will def be back just to see her and have her as our server !!!! read more

I'm going to be completely honest. I don't know what all of the negative comments are about? Dined here today around 11:30 am. We had a cheeseburger and a monte crisco sandwich. Both were absolutely delicious! The hot honey butter crescent rolls were SO GOOD. We couldn't eat it all and took it home. And just finished the leftovers and was still great. first, I want to say that the food was delicious. We had the salmon over rice. The honey butter croissants were amazing even though you only get two at a time. That said, service was crappy after waiting an hour and a half to finally be seated, acted like they didn't even know we were called after we have been paged and seated others before us. The booth where they put us, was freezing with a vent directly on us. Luckily, the waitress noticed, and moved us to a table away from the vent. oh, and my husband's silverware was left at our original table so we asked for more. they brought him plastic silverware. My partner and I ate lunch at the Albany, GA Cheddars Monday, 10/7/24. It was like being locked in a bad comedy, and we couldn't get out! Ernie ordered a beer to go with his meal, and it came but was frozen solid! It took about 15 minutes for the wait staff to find another brand of beer that was not frozen so he could drink it. We both ordered the Lunch Blackened fish over rice with 2 sides. The waiter brought the Dinner Blackened fish, and it was not Blackened! It had been cooked with lemon. I ordered coffee for my beverage, and when it came, I poured cream into the mug, and it immediately curdled! UCK! We were not seated in the section that contains the slow, sweeping fans in the middle of the restaurant, and we were glad, because these fans were disgustingly dirty. They had dust that could drop into your food as you were eating! Well, Ernie wanted to speak to the store manager, and it took one waiter who couldn't get him to leave his office, and another waiter finally told the manager that a man wanted to speak to him, and would come back to his office if he didn't come out. So the manager emerged, finally! Ernie told him about all the things that had transpired, and he didn't say a word! Didn't ask any questions, didn't apologize for the service, or the wrong fish, or curdled coffee or frozen beer. He didn't say anything when he was told he had a restaurant that needed to be cleaned up, and the fans dusted! I have enjoyed meals many times, at the Cheddars in Warner Robins, GA and was thrilled when the Cheddars opened in Albany. But no more! I will not ever cross the threshold of that Cheddars. Food was non- existent. I had 3 extremely small pieces of chicken in my chicken pecan salad. They didn't even total half a chicken breast. My wife's steak was supposed to be a six ounce sirloin. The steak was supposed to be medium well. It's burnt on the outside and almost raw on the inside. It was about half of that. She also ordered ribs with her meal. They never came. This place allows dine in but it's abiding by the social distance rules set for restaurants and other places that are currently open so I didn't feel uncomfortable dining in. This particular outing was a date and it was basically my dates idea to come here. However, due to the seating being so spaced out the wait time was about 45 minutes to an hour and that didn't sit well with me giving my hunger but I remained patient. Even though we had a long wait to be seated we didn't have a long wait to be served. By the time we placed our orders we already knew what we wanted. I was basic and ordered the Chicken Tender Platter (No. 8 Special) which is supposedly a favorite of NASCAR Driver Tyler Reddick and my date ordered the New Orleans Pasta. Within about 7-10 minutes, our waiter brought both our meals out. Everything looked amazing but my only concern was that my food was not hot. It tasted as if it had been sitting for a while after being cooked. I was expecting hot fries and hot tenders but I got food that wasn't so hot. This place is always packed. Came on a Wednesday evening. Was greeted by a host that told another host we needed a high chair and she got loud and said "WHO?!" Looked up to see I was holding my child and that I was the one that needed the high chair. She Sat us in the back to what looked like to be the kids section which we didn't mind. Our sever approached our table he was nice but very forgetful. I ordered the shrimp and tender meal with rice and corn my cousin ordered the tilapia with shrimp and mango salsa.
