Terrible service!!! Coming here was an absolute waste of time. We pulled in called the number and was placed in hold for 15 mins. A young lady came to the car and ask us if we were picking up. I informed her we are in HOLD now to place an order and she said okay and walked to another vehicle in the parking lot. After the phone was finally taken off hold we were told they stopped taking orders after 830. Linette informed the lady on the line how long we have been waiting on hold on the phone and sitting in the car and she said okay she'll make an exception.....the website says open till 9......we were immediately placed back on hold. When the lady answered the phone again she took Linettes name down, asked her what we wanted and then informed her that they are only serving tenders and fries. However, my mom raves over the pot pie and 3 people ordered the ribs and nearly licked their plates clean! Must be saying something about their food. We had family in from out of town that specifically requested we go to Cheddars. Picking a chain on a Friday night would not have been my first choice, but I try to be a people pleaser. When we arrived, there appeared to be a line out the door. My husband dropped me off at the front so that I could put our name in, and we were quoted 45 minutes. Knowing everywhere else would be the same, we sat in the lobby area to patiently wait. All of ten minutes passed before our table was ready! Exceeded expectation # 1. Our server was everything a server should be: friendly, attentive, and helpful. He was patient with our group as we figured out appetizers and drinks and assisted with menu recommendations, he was even attentive with the toddler at our table. Exceeded expectation #2. The meal came with complimentary croissants for the table (one per person). These were good, but I've had better (anyone remember Hops or Houlihans?). We also had a free appetizer of chips, salsa, and queso from signing up on Cheddars website (do this a few days ahead of your visit, as it's not an instant reward). The chips were warm and crunchy, the salsa mild and flavorful, and the queso was nothing to write home about but certainly fine enough. For my entree, I had the salmon salad with glazed pecans. Seriously one of the best salads I've had in a long while. The salmon was cooked to perfection, the greens were fresh and crisp, the toppings added great texture...I'd order this again and again. Exceeded Expectation #3. Mostly everyone at the table seemed happy with their selections (I heard a sandwich was dry), but my husband and I truly enjoyed our selections. If I'm in the area again, I'd have no problem coming back here for one of their salads. read more

This is a fairly new location. Very nice new clean and beautiful interior. Love the fish tank as you walk in. I was seated and my server Anthony brought over two complimentary honey butter croissants. They were delicious. I ordered a pecan grilled chicken salad with a honey mustard dressing on the side. I also tried the bacon wrapped shrimp. Everything was fabulous. It came out quickly and it all tasted great. Thank you to Anthony excellent server. I'm glad that they put a location closer to me. Visit there new location on us192, my son chose cheddars for his bday dinner gathering. Wait was just about an hour. Our sever was very friendly and knowledgeable on the menu. Its been like a decade since we lost our local Cheddars. At a friend's insistence we went in for lunch. Definitely upgraded since the early 2000s Pros: - Good menu. Will appeal to a range of "food moods" - Acceptable service, classier atmosphere but at a more reasonable price. Not a bad spot for a more casual date in something less formal. - Fried mozzarella was well done. - Complimentary croissants? Nice touch! Cons: - Food presentation could use some work. Southern green beans looked rather unremarkable. Fortunately they tasted fine. Bottom Line: -Another won't knock your socks off, but a worthy option for casual dining. I went with my family to eat at cheddars and as I sat down in the booth there was a nail sticking up from the booth itself. The nail stuck up so far up that it pearled my ass. Not a good feeling. My bacon wrapped shrimp was cooked to Perfection and the dipping sauce had a slight hint of spice. But what I always come back for is the broccoli cheddar casserole. We finally went and man it was really busy. So we left and came back another night. I am really glad we did. We had the croissants . Those alone are worth checking this place out. I had the country fried steak for dinner it was awesome. I consider myself a country food snob I am picky about this stuff. This place is legit. They pride themselves on being a scratch kitchen and they should. This place has great fried southern cuisine. Enjoy at your own risk. You will overeat they give you sooo much food. So, we are out running errands today, wearing masks and maintaining social distancing. We walked into Cheddars to eat lunch. The manager greeted us after about 3 and a half minutes after we walked in. There were about 7 tables with guests. The rest of the place was empty. We were told it would be 2 minutes while he cleaned a table. Five minutes later another couple walked in and was treated to the same customer service as we were still waiting to be seated. The other couple waited about three minutes and walked out. We followed them out ( still not have been seated) and ate Buffalo Wild Wings. In a world where less and less people are venturing out, customer service is key. I would not be surprised to see this Cheddars close. We have attempted to eat Cheddars twice in a month at two locations and walked out both times due to poor service. Way to suck at your job!! read more

The food was amazing. Best restaurant food I've had in the area. The croissants were sooo good. I had the country fried chicken it was nice and crispy and juicy at the same time. Ribs were phenomenal and the Cajun pasta had the perfect amount of spice. They give you a good amount of food but I wish I had more. We don't eat out all the time but when I used to live in Kissimmee I still have a house in Kissimmee. We used to go to the Cheddar's and food was really really good. I had a great great waiter by the name of Arthur. He was great but the food it was absolutely awful. The croissants they were cold with butter throwed on them. The fried Chicken it was salty soggy. They put gravy on the food and I told them I had to put gravy on the food. Put it on the side but the fried Chicken was soggy and it was just so salty. It was absolutely nasty. We didn't even eat that meal. Arthur did want to take it back. I told him it was awful but I told him I would just pay for it. I would never eat there again. That was $51 plus tax that it should have been free but I didn't want to look like. I was just wanting to beg for food so I just paid for it and told him it's okay but it was absolutely awful and I would never eat at that Cheddar's ever ever again and Cheddar's normally have really good food but to get cold croissants and Arthur he didn't bring them to me. Someone else bought my food to me. You know how other waitresses or people that work in the back bring your food but when I complain he was willing to make it right. I just said never mind because I know about the horrors stories when you complain and you send your food back. read more
