The mister used to live in Orlando so we went there partially so he could revel in his yester-years. He loves a good chicken platter, especially for a low price, so we split one. This was alright taste wise. We chose corn and baked potato as our sides. The servous was not fabulous. It didn't look crowded. Often a gentleman, who appeared to be a bartender, would come assist us when our server dissappeared for long stretches of time. The ladies room was not the happiest place on earth.Eh, it felt like it needed to be cleaned both times I entered. Maybe we should try another location next time we're out here.

Arrived with a party of 10 and were told that it would be about 30 minutes wait time, which was great. Once our table was ready, the host walked us in and directed us to two booths, not directly next to each other. I was a bit upset, because we were not told our group would be divided. We wouldn't have agreed to dine in, if that was the case. After going back and forth with the host and another manager/server, not sure who really, we decided to break our group as best between the two booths. Our server, Mitch, was phenomenal. He worked his magic and saved the night and took wonderful care of our now divided group. Food was good, drinks were great, and the service provided by Mitch was phenomenal. Not sure this review would have been a 4 start without Mitch.

Onion pack is a must. Service was great. I had the beer battered shrimp and fish platter, very good. Check this place out.

Came in on a Saturday afternoon. We were seated right away, as it was not crowded at all. I love Cheddars for the pricing and proportions that you receive for it, and this was no different. The top sirloin and shrimp hit the spot!

Met up with some friends for lunch here. We arrived right at 11 AM when the location opened. I went with the grilled chicken pecan salad. I really enjoyed the salad, although the candied pecans were pretty hard to bite so I ended up leaving most of them in the salad. Really enjoy the honey Dijon dressing that goes with the salad because it gives it a nice tan and the chicken was cooked perfectly. They have a large parking lot so plenty of space to park and it is a pretty large location so if you have a group, definitely a good location to bring them to

I wasn't sure what to expect when we went into Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen, the parking was fairly quiet and we had no wait when we went into the restaurant. We were greeted and seated immediately, and it was lunch time so it was fairly quiet in the restaurant. There's a nice cozy atmosphere, with booths, tables, and little alcoves where you can be seated. The decor and the theming are modern but homely. We were very quickly greeted by our server and he asked if we had been here before and gave us a few suggestions as we were both new. Shortly after he brought the house honey butter croissants which I have to say are the best item I've had as a free "bread" option. You get one order of the croissants for free and we definitely asked for some more to go home with at the end!! I've always been a pastry fan and these croissants were fresh and tasty and the honey butter was absolutely incredible. Food came out shortly after, it was hot, the fries were perfectly seasoned and my fish was light and flaky. I'd read a lot of mixed reviews about Cheddar's but they were quickly put to rest, because our experience was nothing short of fantastic. Our server was excellent, very attentive and friendly, I unfortunately didn't catch his name, but he was a tall Latino gentleman with short hair in a Caesar cut. We will definitely be back as the all around experience was amazing and the food was great, and the prices were competitive, especially on the lunch menu!

Dijon Chicken & Mushrooms

Kicked off with a WATERMELON TEXAS FROZEN SWIRL and a complimentery HONEY BUTTER CROISSANTS. Followed by DIJON CHICKEN & MUSHROOMS with SOUTHERN GREEN BEANS and a CAESAR SALAD. Sooooo....starting with the cocktail. Shouldn't be a surprise that that it was a little too sweet, but also artificial and a sort of medicine taste to it. The salad was basic and nothing too memorable about it. As for the chicken, the Dijon sauce was the best part. The chicken itself was a little dry and over done. The rice and green beans were under done with both having a little too much crunch!

Great many options for all tastes. Great service, attentive and friendly. Ambience is loud. Many kids crying unfortunately.

There were a lot of people hanging around outside the restaurant when we arrived. I assumed that it would be a long wait due to the crowd. However, we were greeted and seated immediately upon arrival. The atmosphere was dimly lit, yet cozy and romantic. There were TVs around the restaurant with a huge beautiful fish tank being its focal point. Our server was a friendly gentleman, but I forgot his name. We decided to forgo the appetizers and dive right into ordering the entrees. I ordered the 8oz steak with fries and a house salad. We also ordered chicken fingers with fries, and a shrimp and broccoli Alfredo. The food was wonderful! I would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for American comfort food.

Cheddar's Trio Sampler The spinach dip was crunchy, queso salty and watery. Chicken tenders were great!

The food was good but our Server Drew made the experience better. He was patient and funny. We had a party of 5 and Drew was on it! Everything came out hot and fresh. He explained corporate is making some changes and I know times are hard but some things don't make sense! Like cutting back on napkins. People always ask for extra napkins. We had a dozen of small to go boxes instead of a couple of big boxes. I'm a business owner so that's wasteful! We enjoyed everything appetizer platter. The spinach dip, it was just roughage! Wasn't creamy, no cheese, dry and crunchy! Didn't like the queso either. It was very salty and runny. But other than that everything was good! My family really enjoyed the happy hour drinks they have all day. But their menu is pretty economical, especially in today's economy!

Country Fried Top Sirloin Steak & Chicken Tenders
Ingard V.

First time in this location and, another win! Service is casual and friendly, food is glorious, and the painkiller was killing it! I had the country fried steak, and I was a little hesitant due to other locations, making it extremely breaded . But this one was on point. My girlfriend had the chicken tenders and shrimps, and they were perfectly crispy. Yes, the croissants were freshly done and still warm. I didn't give five stars because there was an issue with our dessert . It took half an hour . However, let me be very clear and emphasize that the server kept checking back with us and let us know that they had an issue with the cookie and had to remake it. The manager even came and apologize and offered us something else and yes, the dessert was on the house. It's just that it was an insane amount of time. But that won't keep me from returning and being a loyal cheddars fan.

After several days at the parks, I just couldn't eat another meal of junk and wanted something with a little more quality. I typically tend to mobile order through the MyDisney Experience app, so I went down the list and decided to open up the options for Flame Tree Barbecue. I went with the Half Chicken which was generous half bbq chicken portion with beans and coleslaw. It was exactly what I needed/wanted to get a more quality meal inside of me without breaking the bank at a table service restaurant. Pricing was very fair for it being Disney and for the quality. When I went to pick up my mobile order, the Cast Members were extremely friendly and a pleasure to interact with. The whole experience was 5-stars coming from a smaller quick service kiosk/stand in Animal Kingdom. I could have easily shared the platter with another person, but it was so good that I didn't need to. If you are in Animal Kingdom and looking for a tasty, affordable option that isn't your typical theme park food, Flame Tree Barbecue is a fantastic choice. There is a modest area of outdoor seating, but also a short walking distance away to other quick service places with indoor seating if you're trying to beat the Florida sun. Note that you must have park entry to Animal Kingdom to order from Flame Tree Barbecue.

If you're at AK, make sure you stop by here. Also, best to order in the mobile app. During the busy times of year, wait time here can be up to 45 minutes w/ the mobile app and the lines are really long if you don't mobile order. The interior is very much on theme, as you would expect with a Disney restaurant. Our host explained some of the decorations and their meaning as we were being seated. As two foodies, we couldn't just get one entree each. We opted for two appetizers and two entrees and are glad we did. Like most "fancier" restaurants, the portion sizes are on the smaller side, especially for the price. For appetizers, we chose the signature bread service paired with Korean bbq pork bao buns. Both were amazing! The bread service was a bit smaller than photos make it look and I would not recommend sharing with more than 3 people total. The bao buns were packed with flavor and our favorite item of the night. For entrees, we chose the butter chicken and beef tenderloin, two of the highest recommended items here. Both were amazing and melted in our mouths. My only wish is that the butter chicken offered more sauce and had rice instead of a samosa. The service here was a bit on the slower size, especially since they were not busy at all. However, that is usually what one would expect at a nice restaurant. We are already looking forward to returning.

I thought the burger was cook as ordered, the fries were good with a little more crunch than I prefer. The shrimp and grits were tasty however the grits were not as creamy as I like but I would absolutely order again. The dining room was themed with beautiful art that represents the animals of the park. Even though the room was full it wasn't so loud you couldn't hear each other. If you are at Animal Kingdom you should really consider this delightful restaurant.

Good idea on a Friday night because it certainly was busy. When you step in you feel like you're entering a tasteful log lodge with rustic charm. Voices are a bit noisy inside on a busy night. She had to carry over a cumbersome number of POS devices for our individual payments. Millie did provide excellent service, though. She was personable and attentive. We visited Chef Art Smith's Homecomin' at Disney Springs, and this was definitely one of my favorite meals while in Orlando. We started with the White Peach Sangria, the Church Lady Deviled Eggs, and the Bacon-Wrapped Shrimp. Now those shrimp deserve their own moment. They're tossed in house-made hot honey and served with remoulade, and they were SO good. Sweet, a little heat, salty from the bacon... just a really good combination. For dinner, we shared Art's Famous Fried Chicken and the Meatloaf Main Plate. The fried chicken is buttermilk-brined for 24 hours and came with creamy mashed potatoes and a cheddar drop biscuit. The chicken was seasoned, juicy, crispy... exactly what fried chicken is supposed to be. And the meatloaf surprised me because I don't usually go somewhere like this thinking, "Let me order the meatloaf." But I'm glad we did. It came with mashed potatoes, Southern green beans, and that cheddar drop biscuit. Comfort food done RIGHT. Everything we had was good. Not "it was okay" good.
