My family and I order here quite a bit and really like the food I particularly love the boneless buffalo tenders and the shakes they have.

Zero stars, they are GHETTO. Period, don't waste ur time we waited in line for a whole hour to get up to the window and the automated ( order taking machine ) didn't even receive our order. OH but that's not all we get up to the window and ole girl can't hear and everything gonna take 15 minutes on top of the 1 hour we just waited. She told us she don't got time for the $hit's she ready to clock out etc. When nobody told her to clock in, anyway if you need something quick to eat go to taco bell, it's right across the street. Absolutely horrible service. Was told that they don't allow separate orders, that they all had to be on 1 ticket. Then when asked how much it was individually so we all know how much to pay, they then say that they can't do that either. So when a person who ordered with us said to just take his meal off, the supposed owner stated that if any changes was made that he would refuse to serve us. Absolutely ignorant service from everyone there. You're better off going somewhere else with your hard worked for $ than to give it to this raggedy ungrateful place. This is the first checkers I sat inside and it's really clean, they up keep the bathrooms as well. The food tastes really good and not as greasy as other checkers I been to, and it's also has a huge dining area. The drive thru and exit lane is separate and they don't use brown paper bags, they also have condiments available to you. Honestly it's the best fast food joint I been to in years. I understand it's fairly new but it's still clean because I've seen fairly new establishments look really run down and dirty with only a few months in. Keep up the good work and love the service the people are friendly at the counter. read more

I was excited bc this was the first checkers that I have seen with indoor seating. It is set up like a regular fast food restaurant. With that said it isn't very exciting inside. Just tables and chairs. And not enough at that. Nothing on the walls. No music. Nothing excited at all. I ordered what I normally get at checkers and I didn't get nearly the same amount of food that I get at any other checkers. The food was hot and cooked properly, they just short you on everything. The worst part of being at this checkers is that they actually charge you for a cup of water. I ordered a large drink but wanted a cup of water also. I have only ever been to one other checkers with a dining room, and it was in Orlando. This one was very clean, and the bathrooms were as well! I got the cheese double cheeseburger and a medium fry, and it was hot and delicious. Yes, you have to ask for condiments at the counter, but I think it keeps the restaurant cleaner, as I have been to other places that have condiments and napkins everywhere because people don't clean up after themselves, so I actually prefer that. Visited at lunchtime yesterday. Not quite the experience I would have expected from a brand new Checkers location. Dined inside but food served in a brown bag. Wait a second, what's the point of dining in an establishment if you are treated as "to go"? No napkins, straws or condiments available unless you go back to the counter to request. The employee who served us wasn't rude, but also wasn't friendly either. Just kinda ehh. He never gave us our drinks until after we sat down and then called up to get our food, and we actually had to request our drinks which had been sitting behind the counter he entire time. My friend ordered extra pickles on her burger and got none. Went back to counter to request some pickles and they refused to provide. Was told she needed to hand over her burger so they could take it back and fix. Whoa seriously? Pass. I ordered the Big Buford and got easily the messiest burger I've experienced. If you love loads of mayo on your burger, this evidently is your place. At least I was still in the building to discuss the food I received. I can only imagine the frustration of ordering drive-thru to find the results of my order at a later point. Parking onsite was clearly a mistake, as our departure was quite delayed due to then being trapped in the long drive-thru line. The entrance of the lot wasn't designed with enough width to accommodate both drive-thru and dine-in vehicles. Yet both the rear and the exit is wide enough for two lanes. Not good for those that park onsite. Oops. This establishment needs to make a LOT of improvements before we consider coming back. Maybe one day they will actually function as a dine-in restaurant. A better idea would be to scrap all onsite parking, and clearly identify that there is seating indoors for walk-up and to-go orders. All Checkers I've experienced have outside tables for seating after you've ordered at the walk-up window. This location provides indoor seating and AC, which is a huge plus. They need to market it as such so as to not to confuse people with much different dine-in expectations. read more

I go to checker's because my boyfriend likes their fries and shakes. However, they are always rude and get our orders wrong. We tell them only ketchup and lettus, but they smother it in mustard and pickles anyways. They upcharge us for things they forget to give us. When we go back to get it fixed, they don't care. And since they are so expensive for a basic fast food chain, I signed up to get their coupons. But now I learned, after waiting in line, they don't even accept their own coupons. read more

Went through the drive-thru and later found out that they had given me someone else's order. When I returned it, I didn't even get a thank you. I got home and attempted to do the on-line survey but couldn't because the store number was not on the receipt, so I did the text on the cup. I was very happy to see that this checker had inside seating. I really like checkers food, but don't like just going through the drive thru. My wife and I with are two friends ordered our meals. It took our friends 20 minutes to get their food, they had to go to the counter to get napkins, straws, and ketchup. Apparently condiments are at a premium here because you have to ask for them or you won't get them. 25 minutes after we ordered we finally get our food, but the order is wrong. I brought it up to the counter and was told they would fix it. Our friends had eaten their food and we went up and got 3 refills, and 43 minutes after our initial order, I gave up and requested my money back. I have never had such a bad experience with a fast food place as bad as this. By the way, they were not that busy as it was 2pm. We don't eat at many chain burger places, but thought the return of a 90s favorite to our side of town was worth a visit. We'd never heard of a dine-in Checkers (probably for good reason), and had been hearing that the drive-thru line was out into the street. (Due to poor planning of traffic flow--not necessarily from demand!) While this place tries to serve Checkers food and it says Checkers out front, this place is not a real Checkers. I have a strong indication from the poor planning of the drive thru, poor utilization of inside space, and the awkward angle at which the tiny-lettered menu is placed far above the counter, that no one with a national food chain was consulted for planning and opening this restaurant. The place is staffed with sassy, apathetic teens who have been trained to ration out napkins and condiments. There is no place to grab these items for yourself. There are no napkin or straws kept anywhere but behind the counter. My mom asked for mustard for her burger and was told they only had it in the kitchen and that they could not give her any. My husband became ill right after eating their fries. The rest of us had given up on the soggy, grease-soaked version of Checkers famous seasoned fries, but he bravely tried to eat what would go to waste. He paid for it by violently vomiting when he got home. (I had to drive.) Even their signature banana shake tasted like a generic version of the commercial mix was purchased to save costs. PLEASE do not waste your time in this Twilight Zone of an establishment. I recently heard that the owner once ran a catering business and stood up a couple at their wedding reception AND dodged them for a refund. DISGUSTING! read more

WORST CHECKERS EVER! I have been here a few times and each visit is the same. Poor service, unable to get my order correct, over priced food (all-american cheeseburgers should be $1), won't accept deals I receive on my cell phone app and the parking lot/drive-thru impossible to get in/out of. Tonight was my last visit to ANY Checkers. After waiting in line for more than 8 min. I ordered 4 cheese doubles and the girl (Alexa) tried to charge me over $11. I and my two sisters went to checkers on 7214 103rd St, Jacksonville, FL 32210. I like checkers but my experience at this location is making me want to stay away from checkers. This is not the first time this happened to me but after tonight this location needs improvement. I understand workers are tried and whatnot but I feel like the workers were rude(especially the black guy with glasses that was taking the order). I feel like the workers didn't care about my order. I order the mother cruncher and it was missing stuff from it and the chicken wasn't cooked all the way. On top of that, they forgot one of my orders of fries which they did replace. I didn't want to hold up the long line so I didn't bother canceling my order and getting my money back so when I got home I just threw my food away. What a waste of time! we had already sat in line for twenty minutes before we even order our food. I would rather drive all the way to the north side checkers than to come back here again. On top of that, why is the ice cream machine always down at this location (103rd)? Make it make sense because I do not understand the reason for poor customer service, bad food being made, and the ice cream machine being down all the time. The restaurant overall is clean and nice but the employees are nasty, rude and not inviting at all. They blame you when they mess up or forget to give you items in your order and when given attitude if you ask for corporate or a number to call a higher up they tell you they don't have one! read more
