Getting a loan through Check Into Cash was painless, but dealing with their customer service was a…read morepain. The service that Check Into Cash provides is convenient if u need payday loans, but their customer service is one of the reasons I will not be using their service again. At the 5851 South Kedzie location one of the Female customer service rep (Erika Orosco) profiled me and then told me that they didn't have cash in the store. The reason she told me this was because she thought I was going to rob the store. Even after she had my ID, check stubs, bank statement, SS# etc. Im no where near a criminal, nor was i dressed like one. but i guess I was one to herjust because I was a Black Man getting a loan in a mostly Hispanic area. The customer before me recieved cash. But the representative didnt think i noticed. Instead of cash, she elected to give me a check Cash Card. The cash card is more convenient but the issue is you have to pay fees when you use the card. I usually don't do loans....but I went to this location because there are few locations near my neighborhood in Hyde Park. Had I not needed the money badly..and it wasn't freezing outside...I wouldve walked out of this location and went elsewhere

Well let me start off, about give or take two years ago a visited this location to load my Pre paid…read morecard, if you didn't know PLS offers a good prepaid card that I use for my online shopping (I was told by the rep that it would be more secure incase I was not sure about the site). any who the young lady that took care of me was really rude and had some type of attitude because I asked her if she could update my card information because I had just moved. she also kept talking to an older lady to my guess personal things non work related. I did not say a word I just decided that next time I would go to the Western location that is not that far from this said location. now to present day, I decided to give this location another try. two years does change the staffing a lot. I did not recognize a single person it like if there staff was replaced by nicer kinder people. well I went in to cash my check the young lady that took care of me was really nice, she kindly asked if I had cashed with them before which I had not due to my decision to stop doing business with them years prior. but she had told me that I was still on file and was able to update my information that way if I came back it would be an in and out process. she also reminded me of the different services they offered, and asked me if I was going to require any other transaction for the day. I do not remember her name but this young lady changed my perspective on the location, and I will be returning to continue my transactions. I just had to give a compliment to the young lady in front of her manager and let the manager know that she had an amazing staff.
