I recently visited the location on 82nd Cottage Grove. I ran into a snag and needed $1000. I have been a customer since 2012 off and on when I ran short of cash. I paid my loans off immediately to avoid all the interest. This recent visit will be my last once loan is paid off. I had everything I needed to get the loan and was qualified according to my income and was turned down for lesser amount of $800 due to a lie one of the Managers (Sonya) told the Customer Service Rep I had a loan at another company that is why I could not get $1000. This was a Saturday so it was no way I could confirm her statement which made me worry the entire weekend someone was using my identity. When I got a chance to verify on Monday with the State of Illinois they confirmed I did not have a loan out other than Devon. Be careful when visiting this location and check and double check any reasons for being turned down. This was the only company I would visit and always enjoyed my experience with the staff but please don't lie on me about something as important as this. read more
