$12 for burger on white bun with small fries and the weakest tea on Earth. Why would a business serve you an un toasted bun? Not seared, not heated..... just straight out of the bag. You have an entire flat grill sitting RIGHT there, ALREADY HOT, and you can't slide the bun across it. Tiny portions for the money. read more

Customer service was blah. Girl taking our order spoke so soft, no eye contact & seemed like she hated her job. 2 other high school aged girls in the back making the food.. We got a pulled chicken sandwich with mac which was so bland & unseasoned. The "loaded" fries were some freezer fries with lettuce & tomato on them... the only thing good was the jalapeños. The baked beans were good when you put lots of bbq sauce in them. The place was really clean & the coke was good. We were the only people there if that says anything.. idk who made the menu but it sucks. read more

Who would have ever thought pork nachos would be so darn good. My daughter in law had the chicken nachos and loved them equally. My husband had the pork dinner and enjoyed each bite. Waitress from The Grind in Martin suggested it, and said it was her family's place near Reelfoot Lake. I'm a sucker for a recommended bbq joint. I had the pulled smoked chicken baked potato and it was killer good. The chicken was juicy with a hint of smoked and some great seasoning. On top of the large potato set it off. Very good. Very decent bbq...especially for a 1 horse town. The food was a 4 star but the greetings from the employees was a 5! We halved the 1.5 pound with their pork and chicken. I would order this again: the chicken was tender and not dry and the pork was well smoke flavored. The potato salad was definitely a keeper!!! Their mild and hot bbq sauces were really tasty. Food is not incredibly good. Not incredibly bad, either Service was average Dining room was average. The people were quite friendly. This is an odd review. Nothing really stood out. And nothing makes me want to write a bad review. Our dining experience was sorta ho-hum. But it wasn't ho-hum. It felt like a familiar place where you would go because you know know what to expect and it's always comfortable. I'm right on the precipice of throwing that 5th star on this review. Maybe I ordered the wrong menu item but I will not bother visiting this place again. It was a big disappointment. I ordered the pit chicken sandwich and coleslaw. There was nothing "pit" about my sandwich. It tasted like stale bread with baked chicken. Honestly I could have whipped up something tastier in my own kitchen, which isn't saying much because I am terrible at cooking chicken. The coleslaw was mediocre and left me wondering how one could actually make KFC coleslaw seem gourmet. Just under $7 for flavorless boring food. I'd suggest trying another local joint instead. I will say the bathrooms are clean so if you're visiting the area, but a soda and take a potty break. Save your money for better food though! read more

Stopped in for lunch after hunting with about 4 other buddies. I got the BBQ Cheese Fries, while the others got sandwiches or plate dinners. My BBQ cheese fries were 60% cheese, 20% fries and 20% BBQ. The BBQ was your average Tennessee pit barbecue. Everyone's main issues were portions... or the lack there of. 2 or 3 contemplated ordering a second order just so they could be full. But for the price opted out. May be back, but not when we're super hungry. read more
