I've seen many blokes shop here as car accessories, tools and products are way cheaper than most automotive outlets. The four legged friends are not forgotten too. Pet lovers can pick up a bargain as cute toys, bedding and pet accessories are aplenty. Clutter free fans will go crazy over storage boxes. I've found many that would house my kids 1,000 and counting Lego pieces. It truly lives up to its name. I think everyone should head here for a fun browse in and save exercise!

It's not too hard to get around in but it is often very busy and crowded inside, especially near the checkout area, which seems to be the case with all the Cheap As Chips stores. They do not have enough checkouts or enough room at them. Not for the amount of people that go to the stores. I have bought plenty of items from this store mainly as it is convenient being in my local major shopping centre. I recently went here looking for an entertainment unit for my son that I had not found at a larger store despite their website saying it was in stock there (do not believe the availability checker on their website. If you really want to be sure ring the store first and check). The lady that helped me was great. She went out the back and checked and found one. Escorted me to the registers with a code and directed me to come to the loading dock anytime with my receipt to pick up the item. She was really nice and helpful and I got exactly what I wanted without too much trouble. When I finished shopping I went back to my car and drove around to the loading dock. I rang the bell and a someone answered on the intercom, found out the item I was picking up and told me they would be down shortly. A lovely guy came down in the service lift with my huge boxed purchase. He knew exactly which way to put it in to make it fit in the car I had with a minimum of fuss. This just topped off the good customer experience. But probably don't expect too much as they are just a cheap shop and are usually very busy. Sometimes there can be a wait for service.

Since it changed hands a little over a year ago the place has gone from strength to strength, and I overheard that these franchise holders have opened up another store of this kind in Adelaide. These guys are a family business and whilst mum knows where in the sea of items a pocket tripod would be, the son in his early 20s (I'm guessing) is the model of customer service. He's always friendly and helpful without being prying or annoying, I wish more shop assistants were like him. There is so much stock, at unbeatable prices. Whatever item you need, it will be here somewhere. I warn you though, you will NOT walk out without purchasing something, it's just so affordable! Doing craft, sewing, make up, hair, your house, your car, a shin dig, need to stuff a stocking or go to a costume party? These guys will have what you're looking for, for next to nothing. It is difficult getting stuff down from some of the items higher up as the stock is floor to ceiling. Having attended many a costumed function, I've gotten loads of fancy dress items from here. When I talked to another lady about it who lives in my area she remarked "Yes! I love that store, it's a like a bazaar" and I think that's pretty spot on. I can honestly say there hasn't been a visit I've made there where I haven't found a bargain, either a book worth nabbing, clothing (I found a faux leather jacket I'd been eyeing off at Myer for $90 about a month before hand, brand new, for less than $10 once) or some fascinating ornament or kitchen gadget - this place is one of those veritable treasure trove. The girls love fossicking through the childrens section, and both they and my wife have picked up pre-loved jewelery perfect for their styles. This is a must visit for us when we're at Victor - thoroughly recommended.

As if it doesn't already have enough stuff, somehow there's always more room available for Xmas decorations of all sorts. I always manage to find something to buy in here whether it's a microfibre cloth, wrapping paper, a screw driver and anything else I don't want to pay full price for at the supermarket. Le Cheap also sells shopping trolleys in funky colours at much cheaper prices than buying them at the central market! Basically, if you're not averse to buying from cheap shops there are real bargains to be had, plus they have come a long way to being accepted into main stream shopping. Remember that buying from a name brand shop doesn't mean it isn't going to break as soon as you use it.

They have loads of stuff from kitchen and home wares, to toys, books, and everything else you'd expect in such a store. There are a couple of stores in Adelaide, and the staff are helpful in that if there is something you want that they don't have they'll ring the other store to see if they have it.

Obviously because it's a bargain store they have some cheap stuff. And as they say, you get what you pay for! However some of their stuff is okay and a lot of it which you may buy you will only buy for a single use anyway. Like you can get cheap plastic plates and partyware here, including all party related items and some fantastic cheap things for party bags if you ever have to make some up. You can get some great simple toys for pass the parcel or other game prizes. Or perfect place to get something for kris kringle. Usually they have a $10 limit and recently I purchased an MP3 player that plugs into my 12V socket in my car and plays through the stereo wirelessly from whatever you put on a memory card. It was less than $10 and was fantastic. (I say "was" as my partner touched it and it kind of fell apart, but I am sure that was because of him as I had used it and touched it plenty for about a month without any issues - he is just too rough!). They have a little of almost everything so you can usually find something worthwhile. The store could be a little bigger though - it can be difficult to get around if you have a trolley or even a pram.

Currently there's screens or room dividers, Eiffel Towers, picture post card tin prints, empty gift boxes, jewellery boxes, napkins - which look too pretty to use - and lots more.
