So I basically had to do two reviews. They are sharing a tenancy and providing a more complete solution to encourage more people to go there. Whatever works I guess. Everyday Living is obviously the furniture side of the store. They have some beautiful buffets especially. I love buffets. However I have never owned one, needed one or wanted one particularly but they look lovely. The thing I really liked about this place is most of their dining suites came in two sizes and with either 6 or 8 chairs. I was recently looking specifically for ones with 8 chairs and they are not that easy to find a good range. But this place seemed to have lots of special offers on the same pieces with either 4 or 6 chairs, or 6 or 8 chairs, or different length tables. Price wasn't bad on them either but it was a big stocktake sale at the time so not sure they would all be that cheap all the time, however it does give you a good idea that their specials would always be pretty worthwhile. They have some great specials and having the beds/mattresses under the same store roof means when they have bonus deals you get them when you purchase anything from either store as a combined amount.

All bedroom furniture including beds, tallboys, bedside tables, even some you could use as coffee tables and the likes if you wanted. But personally I just don't shop here. I am not the type of person to pay, as an example, nearly $1000 for a dressing table. Not when I bought one, years back when I needed one after moving to a house with no built ins, for around $400 from a friend for a massive wardrobe, 2 dressing tables and 2 bedside tables. I realise it was second hand but it is still fantastic, has barely any marks and is solidly built. So even if I was going to buy good I would most likely check out second hand places and the likes rather than go here. Just not really my style of shop, even though it may suit plenty of others and does have nice stuff to buy.

This place is just a massive Op Shoppers paradise! I notice online that they have them in other…read morestates but this is the first I have seen or been into and the only one in SA at this stage. I could not believe how huge it was the first time I went in there. You could spend hours browsing in this store. They have everything pre-loved from clothes, furniture, electrical, toys, games, books, curtains, towels, bedding, shoes even some special things in a locked cabinet near the checkouts. Some of the smaller items, like kitchen utensils and small toys, they have wrapped together and sell as a pack for only a few dollars. I managed to get a fantastic game for my son there that he just loves and it's so simple but i have never seen it in a shop before. He has had hours of play from it and will continue to use it for a while linger yet and it was only $4.00! No problems with returns as long as you have your receipt and it's within a timely manner since the purchase date. All the electrical items they sell have to be tagged and tested prior to sale so I haven't had any issues anyway. Even better if you have stuff to get rid of at home they have a bin at the front of the store you can deposit items into. And to take it one step further when the store is open so is the back door and you can just drive around there and they will take any donations straight out your car for you. Makes it easier than trying to shove a garbage bag of stuff in a donation bin somewhere. Plus you can take items that won't fit in one of the bins so you can get rid of anything there. Definitely a place I will visit every now and then just to see what's on offer as stock is always changing. And as they say - someone else's trash may be your treasure!

The selection of outdoor cane furniture is modern and classy, from larger pieces of furniture to odd items such as free standing cage swings that I could imagine whiling away an afternoon in. I also loved the crazy, colourful tin animals out the front that draw you in to this shop. I liked most of the pieces in Lavish and I especially liked the wall decorations which were like no other ones I had seen around. They also had a good display of beautiful chunky modern jewellery that didn't look mass produced. When we were looking through, there was no one around to help out, not that we needed assistance. Once we got to the back of the shop we found someone working in a side office running a parallel business who eventually spoke to us: They are obviously very trustworthy in these parts.

Zak & Rog have teamed up with Dreamland Bedding at this location to be able to offer furniture and…read morebedding all in the one store making it somewhat of a one stop shop. Dreamland have the mattresses and beds themselves. Zak & Rog have all the furniture. So not the cheapest place around to shop but great quality and they do have some really nice stuff in there. Especially if you are into wooden furniture. Some of their wooden items are just stunning. They have some great kids beds in here like the fire engine one for boys or a beautiful Royal Princess Carriage for a little girl. It would have to make you feel like Cinderella in this bed. Most of their range of lounges did not really appeal to me at all though. I did like some of their table and chair sets, especially the good range of extension tables they have available, which are harder to find in some other stores. Here they have a choice of about half a dozen or so. They do have an ok online presence but you really need to go there, plus there is no pricing online. So just go and have a browse.

I have purchased a phone for my child from here, great, basic, locked with minimal credit for only about $30. Didn't thin he would find something until he saved a bit more but proved me wrong. I have also managed to grab a great bargain on some really odd dvd's, especially some fantastic comedy ones. They seem to stock stuff you can't get in the usual department stores or even sometimes in specialised music shops. I have also purchased a larger tv and set top box from here before and have received great service every time. It does get rather packed out in the store, especially when they have a big sale on, but they do always have a security guard at the entry/exit of the store. Staff get really busy, even though they have heaps of staff working all the times I have been there they also seem to often have heaps of customers. But obviously that is a good thing and the wait has never been horrendous. I tend to go with the theory of looking for one thing, phones OR computers OR cameras OR dvd's, etc. Way too much to try and look at the whole store at one time.

I just went in to buy a pre owned game but could only find a blank case with a sticker on of the game I was looking for. I found that easily too because it's well organised and in alphabetical order. The staff were very helpful and gave me a discount because it didn't come with the case. Winning! Also, unlike some places the security guy is really friendly and you don't feel uncomfortable walking past. I only come here for games so can't really comment on the electronics etc but I've only heard positive things. Oh and 90% of the staff are really good looking. Bonus haha
