First time been here. Unfortunately it was a disappointment. Meredith was the girl who cut my hair, It was pleasant talking to her. The price was reasonable. I brought a couple of pictures of the hair style I wanted and what I got looks NOT even close to what I expected, my hair is so uneven all over my head, have patches on top of my head that don't even measured two inches long. It seems to me she was overwhelmed of the fact that I have lots of hair and she just started graving bunches of my hair twisting it and cutting it off. I don't see the style or professionalism of a hair stylist I'm used to. It looks like a very nice hair salon, unfortunately after my first experience I will definitely won't come back. read more

London is amazing, very real and personable with tons of knowledge! Me and my sister are new to CO. I was quite nervous trying a new salon after years of going to my regular stylist. Maritza was available and had experience with curly hair so I gave her a try today. I have a lot of gray hair and am worried about damaging effects of coloring, but it felt like she took the time to address my concerns and really listened to what I wanted in terms of a cut and color. I have been here twice. Both for eyebrow waxes. The first time I went I had a younger girl who was very nice. She did a great job with my eyebrows and I really enjoyed talking to her. The price was reasonable but as someone who rarely does anything to keep up with "beauty," I had forgotten her name by the next time I made an appointment. All of good credit should go to her! She is the only reason I'm not giving Chaz 1 star. The second time I went I had Wanda. New to Chaz, older hippy looking woman. She was nice enough but as I sat down, she immediately starts talking about my skin (for an eyebrow wax??) and then lectured me about how I should take care of my acne. She didn't ask me how I wanted my eyebrows shaped but just goes "oh my, it's been a while, let's just clean these up a bit." She continues to sit there and point out every single pimple on my face (while touching my face I might add). After she finished with my eyebrows, they were cleaned up but not quite as "shaped" as I would have liked to see them. I may be negligent of my eyebrows but I've been getting them waxed for over 10 years and know enough to know this wasn't a great job, but it was acceptable. I was getting ready to pay when Wanda starts blabbing on about her facials special and that she would educate me about how to take care of my skin. I have never been so insulted in my life. I could understand this sort of talk if I were getting a facial, but there is absolutely NO need to mention my skin when going in to get an eyebrow wax. I will be driving all the way to boulder now on whenever I want a wax. The following day my skin was so irritated from the wax, you can see exactly where she placed wax and ripped it off. This has never happened to me in the 10 years I've been getting my eyebrows waxed. Very displeased. read more

Glad to see this salon in longmont. Nicole did an awesome job on my haircut--added layers touched up face frame. Washed and round brush blow dried my un-tamely hair for only 35 dollars. Cut off exactly the length I requested and was not aggressive in her approach like a lot of other stylists. I will def be going back 2 year update: I moved out of Longmont, which made me decide to try out a salon closer to my house. I even had a recommendation for a stylist. It was clear that she does the same hair cut on everyone and I left with my hair much shorter than requested. I tried another stylist, and once again, so dissapointed. SO I drove to Longmont to see Nicole again!! She has done my hair twice since then. The first time I request to just simply trim it, no layers, just let it grow out! This time she put some layers in. I have such long thick hair that I could only put it in a pony tail, no bun because it was too heavy. She lightened it all up. I absolutely love it. I will never go to anyone else ever again. All I fear is the day something might happen where she's not available...I don't know what I would do! read more

My esthetician, Wanda Garrett, has just moved to Chaz Salon. I follow Wanda wherever she goes because I just love her upbeat personality and her great skill. She takes care of my skin like no other. I also love my tinted brows and how she shapes them. I feel lovely. I am happy that she has found a place at Chaz. It is a treasure. The atmosphere is calm, joyful and beautiful. I started going here as soon as it opened since I followed my stylist here when she moved here. I go to Tasha for both my hair and spray tans. First, I must say that I started going to her 3 years ago when I first moved to Colorado from Illinois. At first, I would still fly home to get my hair done as I was very scared to go to anyone new. When I went to see her my hair was very, very damaged & I couldn't figure out why. I get highlights and so I automatically blamed that. Once I went to see her, she figured out that I was actually burning my hair with old hair tools (ie blow dryer!!!). She trimmed my hair and did a beautiful highlight! I have been going to her ever since. My hair is now back to normal :) she also added spray tanning as a service when she moved salons. She does a great job and has some awesome product to help upkeep/prep for spray tanning! read more

Do NOT go to Chaz Salon unless you want the BEST haircut of your life!!!! Tina Wetzbarger has been my stylist for years and I can show you plenty of, "Past" photos, to prove that Tina knows style!!! Not only is Tina wonderful, but the minute I walk in the door, I am welcomed by Renee, their adorable receptionist. It's really nice to call a salon and have a warm person answer the phone and let you know that they want your business and that you matter. Don't go to this salon! I went there with shoulder length hair and said I didn't want much cut off. I left with hair cut almost up to my ears and one side an inch shorter than the other. It will take a long time for my hair to grow out enough so I can have it cut even again. This girl did not know what she was doing. Very unhappy!! read more

Been going here for years, back when they were in Boulder. Usually have some good haircuts here, and a few that were meh. Most recent one was the worst haircut I've ever had. Didn't notice until I left, that's on me I suppose. Went somewhere else to get it fixed, they thought I tried to cut my hair myself. Not a good sign, but it happens. The biggest kicker and what prompted me to leave reviews is, if you ever have issues, don't expect for the owner to care. You will get a spiel about how the stylists are independent contractors so I need to take it up with them. A word to the owner, I didn't call an independent contractor to get a haircut, I called Chaz Salon. Take some accountability. I got a crap haircut and tried to give some feedback that you are selling sub-par service. I was met with "Take it up with the stylist". No thanks, I'll just go somewhere else and spend a little time leaving online reviews so others know what to expect. read more

Have been going to Wanda for waxing since she moved to Chaz a couple months ago and I can't say enough good things about my experience and the quality of service. First of all, she's been shaping my eyebrows and they have never looked better! I have gotten a ton of compliments from friends. Also, I have gotten my arms and extended bikini area waxed and it is the most painless waxing I've ever had. I've gotten two wonderful facials from her as well!
