I found Katy (thankfully) while trying to find a stylist that could not only fix what I had (let go of) bring my hair back to life after. My hair had been through quite the processings from a prior place where it went from a stylist messing up to another stylist getting it to a place of liking but after letting it settle I had quite the grow out aka. burn out feels. Katy listen to my little hair hopes and she transformed my hair to a place of not only looking stunning but giving me the feeling of what healthy hair should feel & look like. It had been a long time since I was able to look in the mirror and actually see myself looking well and feeling beautiful after being so sick-with chronic illness. When I came to her my hair was a complete mess. It was damaged, short, ugly. Just awful. I was so self conscious and embarrassed of how I had destroyed my hair. At my consultation Cindy took her time painstakingly matching my hair to get the PERFECT shade. She had SO many brands, colors, etc to choose from. She was beyond knowledgeable about each brand. I was not ready to relive the emotions again. How dare you ! I was going to keep other details out , but why don't I share them. The day of my wedding which was that weekend , I was getting bombarded with phone calls because apparently they lost my credit card information . They were desperate to get a payment. Payment I couldn't make the day this all happened because the power went out. My husband had to take the calls and explain to you we were on a plane trying to get to our wedding destination. Hours from getting married, all you could do is call non stop to collect a payment. It's not my fault everything was handled so poorly on your end. I was nothing but nice and kind to everyone at the salon. Money was never the issue. It's clear to me now you portray to be a high end salon when in reality your actions show that you have no clue how to treat your customers nor are trained to handle this kind of situation. I feel for your employees. Why don't you invest in a course for your management/ owner . You truly need it. I'm done with your nonsense and not taking responsibility for all your mistakes . Serums, oils, supplements, etc. I've always been afraid to try hair extensions because I wasn't sure if I had enough hair to begin with, or even strong enough hair. I've always heard they're damaging to your hair so I am very protective of the little I have. To make my hair look somewhat normal, I would use a 1/4 can of big sexy hair root boost, living proof thickener, blow dry upside down and then crimp underneath it to give it volume, and then curl it. It's been a process each time and it's irritated my scalp. I had to cut off my hair in October because it was just so damaged. After doing more research, I stumbled upon IBE hair extensions and I figured I would give it a shot. I found Shelby through the site and saw she had some pretty good Google reviews so I thought I'd make an appointment to see if I was a good candidate. The consultation went so well and she gave me so much hope. She was able to work around my schedule to get me in quickly too. The entire experience was incredible and her passion, thoughtfulness, meticulousness and thoroughness are extremely evident during the whole process. I was blown away by every part of the appointment, the coloring, the cutting, toning, etc., and she has such an amazing personality and knew how to make me comfortable and in tune with everything she did. At the end, when I saw the final product, I cried. Shelby gave me something I've wanted for so long and all the emotions from this journey just hit me at once. I feel so indebted to her and I am so happy she is now part of my journey moving forward. I promise you, you will not leave disappointed and I will sing her praises wherever I go. She gave me a new life and I'm so grateful I found her.

She's an obsessive worrier focused on everything except the head of hair in front of her. The last straw was when she told me the price was $20 more than it ever was before. She quoted me what I typically give her with a nice tip. That's not professional. If you like to gamble, give her a try, but you better catch her on a good (non-drama) day.
