    Fufu Taco (House Specialty)

This spot is located connected to a gas station plaza. There is limited parking. Came in, it wasn't anyone there but staff. The new server did her best with answering questions prior to ordering. I got the chicken tacos and jollof rice along with fried corn and lemonade. It took over an hour to get the food so by the time we ate, I was tired. The food was good overall. There were some requests that were not met or how the food was prepared was air to the chef. An example is my companion asked for a regular bun and was told okay but it was a fufu or plantain bun. IT was an okay experience. I spent about 100 there so it will probably not be some place I spend that kind of money on again. Everything was cool to order which was great but what we got didn't match the wit time.

The Space is small and intimate with a beautiful aesthetic perfect for a date night or girls night out. Every item we ate was absolutely delicious. The depths of flavor were a delight to our taste buds. Seeing everything made fresh and from scratch elevated each dish. I couldn't pick a favorite as every dish was a star. The lamb chops were so tender and flavorful. The Palm Butter wings were cooked to perfection and saucy. The FuFu Tacos are Chef Chauncy's specialty and I had the shrimp ones and let me tell you I had no idea what was inside the shell but every bite made me want to take another. If you want something warm and filling then the FuFu Dumpling Soup Will be perfect for the fall and winter.

A hidden gem on the east side . This restaurant features Liberian food made by Chef Chauncy , fresh real whole Foods made to order ! I had the whole fish and the flavors were so fresh and explosive!

I have to take a moment to highlight one of the best dining experiences I've had in the Atlanta-Metro in a long time. Chauncy's Kitchen is an Afro- Infusion eatery nestled discreetly in Stone Mountain on South Indian Creek & Redan Rd. I didn't know what to expect when we pulled up, but we were NOT disappointed. Chef Chauncy greeted us immediately and warmly. He shared details about his establishment and his culinary craftsmen ship. This is a vegan friendly restaurant. He imports and makes his own seasonings, and he does not use salt when cooking! Instead, he uses salt water. This food was absolutely delicious with the very affordable price point and the portions were huge! Detailed below are the dishes in order as pictured. I wanna say I have a favorite, but it was ALL so good. 1. Coconut Water (inside a shaved coconut that you can eat) 2. Polo - fried donut bits 3. Sweet Chili Wings 4. Cajun Fried Oakra 5. 5 Cheese Mac n Cheese (made with coconut milk)! 6. Fufu shrimp tacos 7. Cassava leaf soup w/Basmati rice & Lamb Chops 8. 2 Patty Burger w/Truffle fries ***Yelp would not upload my photos***

Beware: they're scamming people who pay on their website. This is a ghost-kitchen with no accountability

They stole $26.34 from me! Beware of this ghost kitchen taking orders and not refunding when they never complete them. There is no email and the phone number on this profile is just a Google Voicemail they never respond to. Only take your chances through UberEats because the company will refund you. In this instance I had to file a report with my bank. This was after going to the kithen in-person and asking the attendant, who apologized and said he couldn't refund it.

Pictured here is the fufu tacos, yuca fries and lamb chops. I would have taken better pictures but I was too hungry and ate it right up.

Being African I was curious about the fufu taco, but definitely was going to try other dishes. I ordered the chicken and beef fufu taco. Lamb chop and salmon dish as well as yuca fries. The fufu taco was delicious! It is innovative things like this that make culinary ART. The lamb chops and salmon were cooked to perfection in this amazing sauce! Couldn't finish the yuca fries as I tasted a bit of everything and got comatose full lol but now I see why he is a celebrity chef. Trust me...just try it. I guarantee you will come back for more. Already thinking on what to order next time. Keep in mind, as this may not be clear, that this location does not have seating. You just order on the pad in store or from a participating app for pick up or delivery. Still happy to discover a hidden gem!

This isn't a date night spot (even though it should be), aesthetically speaking. But if you and your loved one wants a quick and delicious meal at an affordable price point, this is your place. Pay at the counter, get your number, and they'll bring it to you within less than 5 minutes. Except, they'll sometimes simply call your number in Spanish and only Spanish. I've made it clear that I'm not fluent in Spanish and they're trying to incorporate more English since they'll get a diverse crowd from time to time. Or, ya know, go back to just bringing my food to my number! This is bang for your buck! Dare you to compare any fast food dollar for dollar to here and tell me who fills you up more. Let alone the clear winner of quality, no preservatives, and unprocessed meats!

I've tried the carne asada, pastor, and cabeza but the cabeza is my favorite right now. The food is always good. The girlfriend got nachos and they were also good. Service They are crazy efficient in order taking and preparing the food. Ambiance Super casual spot, usually pretty busy but plenty of parking. If you come during a busy time, finding a seat might be difficult but it is well worth the effort.

On the one hand, they do not have a lot of parking, but on the other hand, most of their customers were there on foot as Weir most of the customers for the other businesses in the strip. We walked in and were able to order within about two minutes. The menus were easy to understand with pictures for everything and the staff made things easy as well. As we ordered and I asked for the Birria Burrito, they asked which one. I let them know that I had seen a video on TikTok about their Birria burrito, but that I hadn't seen it on their menu and that was what I wanted to order. They said it was the Birria Cali and that it was very popular lately. I mean, yeah- the video made it look phenomenal and the audio with it was funny. I had also, previously, seen a video about their Machete and wanted to order that because it looked awesome as well. They had 2! One Birria (beef) and the other was Governado (shrimp). We went for the Birria- of course. Honestly, the Birria Burrito had plenty of flavor and more variety in flavor due to the various fillings- Mexican crema, lettuce, guacamole, potatoes (surprising, but honestly VERY good), plenty of cheese, and the Birria (and the sauce is poured right in- which I think could be avoided). It was delicious, but it shouldn't have been served on the paper as the paper began to rip when I started cutting up the burrito. I had wanted to eat the burrito like a burrito, but the moment that I picked it up, it became nearly impossible. The burrito completely opened up and all the fillings started pouring out onto the paper. I was able to wrap it up again with about half the fillings, but the burrito tortilla was so wet that it was just a huge mess. I ended up eating half of the burrito with a fork. I don't know why they didn't serve it on a plate. The Birria Machete was super flavorful and simple, just Beria meat and cheese with a cup of their dipping Birria soup. It was also nearly 2 feet long! Very cool. I began to wonder if the corn tortillas for the Birria Machete were made in store. I asked- and they said they do make it themselves! The corn tortillas were the most flavorful corn tortillas I've ever had! They had texture and they were clearly NOT the type of corn tortillas that I get at most places, those premade floppy unflavorful corn tortillas like the ones you get in the pack of 150 at the grocery store. When I find out, I will let you know because the texture and flavor of the corn tortilla on the Machete was phenomenal. The place was packed when we got there. It was packed when we left. Clearly, they get plenty of business. Everyone around us seemed happy and content with their food and so were we. I will definitely be back for another Machete to try some other things as well. Give them a shot if you haven't been.
