The lady that manages the location is truly a gem to speak with. She is so helpful and willing to help her patrons with folding and washing. She also provides change if needed. She has a very interesting past that is inspiring. If I ever go back it's be great to reconnect with her again. The laundromat itself is clean and tidy. The cycle runs about 40 min and it had just completed when we arrived back Three sizes of washing machine sizes. Small(6£), medium (8£) and large (10£) These machines only accept 1£ coins but the attendant will exchange notes for them for u to use, no cc. Dryers are high heat and .5£ for every 4 min. Takes both 1 and 2£ coins. If you don't bring ur own detergent, they sell it for .5£ a cup which they'll top load for u before u start ur wash. No dryer sheets as they find the high heat to not leave u w any of the sheet scent anyway. They're open daily for varying hours and offer self wash as well as service wash for a small fee 3-5£ depending on machine size.

They have always been polite, friendly, and helpful, taking on suggestions for specific folding requirements, and open to price negotiations for regular business. It's also got a very cool sign, which seems to shift with the wind, each part glinting in the weak London sun light. They have been around for ages, provide a very good service and all the machines are in good, working order. There are also quite a few shops and restaurants very close by, so if you want to pop out for a few minutes to order a takeaway with the new lover (or potential axe murderer) you just met while drying your Sunday PJs, the option remains open.

Good service but.... the machines and where you put the soap are yucky eugh it seems there is no hygiene at all in this launderette. The owner should think about a deep clean of his machines. The owner is REALLY as good as everybody says. Super helpful! The cost for my self service load was 15-17 pounds total. Washing machines are a little small so one big load is actually two small or medium loads. The dryers are huge and will take both medium sized loads for only one dryer cycle. Lots of different food and drink choices on the same block of a charming London road...typical fish n chips pub, fancy coffee house, outdoor Italian place, Indian, Thai, etc. I was in and out in less than 2 hours. So if you want to save a bunch of money, OR--more importantly--if you want to get away from your family after a week of playing tourist...this is definitely your place. I went on a Wednesday early afternoon 1:30-3:00p, FYI.
