Michael the pharmacist came out from behind the counter, walked the aisle with me, and helped pick the right cold medicine for my little guys. At checkout, Maryanne and Terri asked about my membership -- which is under the name Mr. Belvedere, my 16-year-old beagle. That's how we ended up talking about dog food. They even asked to see a picture of him. It was really sweet and honestly made my night. Late, tired, kids sick, and the whole store was still kind, patient, and human. More than I expected. Thank you Carrie, Michael, Maryanne, and Terri. This is the Walgreens I'll keep coming back to.

He's in a lot of pain with Spinal Stenosis, Arthritis on the Spine, and 3 herniated discs, so it is quite difficult for him to run errands or do much of anything. Today was the fourth time I've gone to Walgreens to pick up his pain meds and other prescriptions, and they were not ready yet again despite a phone call saying they were. Yesterday (4/7/25) he was told the prescription was ready. I went to the counter today (4/8/25) around 11:50am, and I was told that his prescription was NOT ready because the supply had run out and was supposed to to be re-stocked between 8:30am-9:00am that morning. They took my phone number to call or text me when it was ready. Now this has happened before, so I left and drove home and waited. After nearly 4 and 1/2 hours, there was no call and no text, so I drove back to Walgreens and asked for his prescription again. This time I was told they had the medication but I needed to wait at least 30 minutes for it to be filled. I waited in the pharmacy for 30 minutes, and I got a text that it was ready. I watched and saw them take it out of the bin. They had not put anything in that bin while I waited -- I watched! The prescription had been in that bin the entire time, nobody checked it. They went with what the computer screen told them, I guess. I'm so mad about them wasting my time. As I said, this is the 4th time this has happened! I purchased the prescription and went to my car. I looked at the prescription and there it was: Filled on 4/7/25 on Monday at 6:49pm! They had it the entire time. As always, I was lied to again by them. Then, they were helping an older couple that was there before me, and that took them like another 5 minutes. I mean it's just absolutely ridiculous I was in this Walgreens for almost 20 minutes just waiting to buy an over-the-counter medication. And by the time I left the couple that was there before me still hadn't gotten what they needed. I don't know if they were understaffed, or what, but call someone in. I know what the Walgreens in Coeur d'Alene the manager will come back to the pharmacy when they need some additional help. But nobody seemed to care at this location. Would definitely avoid.

What I love about Walgreens photo is that you can upload your pics online through their website and have them printed at any store for pick up or have them mailed to you. They also offer same day pick-up. I was in town running an errand and chose this Walgreens since it was near my errand. When I walked in, I headed to the photo department and quickly and easily picked up my photo. While walking out, I took a quick look around and saw they had Snoop Dog wine. I thought that was pretty cool and surprised to see it. I think I'll go back to pick up a bottle as a novelty.

How do you rate a pharmacy?…read more Is it great? No. Is it the best option in the area? Probably. So what does that mean? I don't know. Sometimes the line moves fast, sometimes it's slow. Some of the people who work here are super friendly and helpful. Some are not. At the end of the day, it's a Walgreens. There's a drive-thru, which is nice. Sometimes it moves quickly, sometimes it doesn't. Also, the parking lot is a nightmare to get in and out of unless you're traveling west on Appleway. Otherwise it's a headache.
