How do you rate a pharmacy? Is it great? No. Is it the best option in the area? Probably. So what does that mean? I don't know. Sometimes the line moves fast, sometimes it's slow. Some of the people who work here are super friendly and helpful. Some are not. At the end of the day, it's a Walgreens. There's a drive-thru, which is nice. Sometimes it moves quickly, sometimes it doesn't. Also, the parking lot is a nightmare to get in and out of unless you're traveling west on Appleway. Otherwise it's a headache. read more

11.6.25: I belong to Walgreens rewards and got an email earlier in the week for a FREE 8x10, which they seem to send out every couple of months. What I love about Walgreens photo is that you can upload your pics online through their website and have them printed at any store for pick up or have them mailed to you. They also offer same day pick-up. I was in town running an errand and chose this Walgreens since it was near my errand. When I walked in, I headed to the photo department and quickly and easily picked up my photo. While walking out, I took a quick look around and saw they had Snoop Dog wine. I thought that was pretty cool and surprised to see it. I think I'll go back to pick up a bottle as a novelty. read more

I wish I caught her name but this woman went above and beyond even though there was only she and one other gal. She is very thin, energetic, dark haired, and knowledgeable to her job and the inventory. She knew the item I was needing had come in Thursday but it was not on the shelf or in the back? So it dawned on her that there was a cart of merchandise on the floor to be put away. She looked and sure enough there were two senior walker tray table accessories. We have traveled to CDA twice in two years and both times, we have needed multiple prescriptions refilled at this pharmacy. I was able to get through to a real person on the phone and was most impressed by her. She made sure everything was in perfect order so my prescriptions would be ready when I arrived in town two days after my call. They had to deal with our doctors who were 3000 miles away in a very different time zone, and they fixed any glitches quickly and reliably. My scripts were ready very fast. We got text alerts that informed us of the status of our refills and when they were ready for pickup. At pickup, the associates were cheerful, helpful, and competent. I had a prescription refill called in by my healthcare provider nearly two weeks ago and this pharmacy still has not refilled it. Every time I call them, they say they can "have it done in a few hours" or "get it done by today" and no progrees ever gets made. After 3 years of consistent failures and lack of customer support, we will no longer use Walgreens. We live 30 minutes drive away. Consistently they text saying the prescription is ready, but when we get there they say come back in an hour. They also fail to fill 90 day prescriptions correctly, claiming it's for only 30 days. Then we have to call the doctor who has to call them and point out their mistake. This is the most horrible pharmacy I've ever dealt with. They have lost prescriptions, are rude and have horrible customer service. It will take a very long time to get a prescription, they will mess it up, and then you have to be on hold for over an hour or stand in line for the same amount of time in the store. Horrible service at the Pharmacy. DO THEY DO THIS TO YOU TOO? They changed the brand of my prescription without even telling me. I got home and saw it was not the same, then did some research on the internet and find out that there are so many side effects with this drug, that I cannot possible take it. I would rather have a seizure than deal with these side effects. I called the pharmacy on Appleway in Cda, spoke with the Manager that was dull and could not do anything for me. He told me it was the same drug just a different manufacturer. I told him this is not ok, if I buy a Ford, I don't want Honda parts. He then said cannot take back the WRONG meds, even though they changed the drug manufacturer without letting me have to option of even knowing. I arrived early and waited in line 20 minutes to even check in with someone at the counter. The tech acted completely flabbergasted and refused my vaccination saying they were too busy and couldn't manage it. Why even have/make appointments. I've never had such a horrible experience as I did today at the pharmacy. I got a prescription for Medicine for a migraine, took it inside to drop off and ask the person how long it was going to take because I was in a lot of pain. Was told 1 hour maybe sooner. I asked are you sure just to confirm because I need this now. Well it's been 2.5 hours and I head back because I still don't have a text message saying it's ready so I think maybe my phone number is wrong in their system. Wait the 20 min in their line get to the window. It's not ready, they haven't started or done anything with it. Well I ask how much longer at this point. She replied with maybe 30 min, I don't know. Well I can't rely on anything that they say time wise so I just ask for it back and figure that I'll just take it somewhere else. When I get it I see that they must have called the dr's office because the nurses name is written on it saying that she verified it. So they had the ability to confirm it but not actually fill it? All while just making up estimated times all together. Then to add onto that, that it might be ready early? Seriously?! I get it that everyone is short staffed but be honest and up front about what people can expect. If it's now coming on 3 hrs before it will be ready. You know that you are slammed and it's going to take longer. read more

This pharmacy is really bad. I'm new to the area and will keep trying to find a reliable pharmacy. Their lines are soooo long. I understand places are having trouble staffing during Covid but this evening I was in the drive thru line before it was time for them to close (a few cars back) and they just closed. Their lines already take a ridiculous amount of time and then to just close on customers who have been waiting. They MUST develop a system to take care of their customers more efficiently and for sure the customers who are in line before closing time (maybe putting a barricade after the last car). To call these people inept would be an insult to idiots. While on vacation I had to go to urgent care, the physician sent 3 prescriptions to this store at 11:00 AM. At 4 PM they had managed to fill two of the three. I told them to give me what they had, as 6 hours without any medicine seemed like an issue to me. When I checked later they no longer had any record of the third prescription. I truly hope Walgreens corporate reads these reviews, and then fires every last person in that store. I called the urgent care at 8 PM and they tried to reach out to the Walgreens, they never answered the phone. I cannot stress enough the utter ineptitude of the people at this store. Ultimately the doctor called Safeway and they were able to fill the prescription in the 15 minutes it took to drive there. Keep up the good work Walgreens, I cannot imagine a company entrusted with people's health to possibly suck any more than you. read more

I can't wait 1-3 hours in your ridiculous lines 2-3 times per month when I need my life saving prescriptions. You don't even answer your phones anymore at the PF branch so I couldn't even get my prescriptions transferred to a different pharmacy that HAS their shit together. When I called the Coeur d'Alene branch to get THEM to transfer my prescriptions to said different pharmacy, I was told "I don't have time, call post falls Walgreens." And then they hung up on me when I was in the middle of explaining that I can't do that because PF Walgreens wasn't answering and lines were so long, I'd be waiting for HOURS. My NEW pharmacy can't get a hold of anyone to transfer my meds to be filled. What is there a pharmacy tech shortage now?? Or is your company just not hiring a sufficient amount of staff to smoothly meet demands?? This Walgreens is no longer open 24-hours for some reason, that means that should you be discharged from the ER at the hospital which is .6 miles south of this Walgreens between 12:00am and 6:00am and need to fill a prescription you will need to drive 24 miles west to the Walgreens at 12312 E Sprague Ave Spokane Valley, WA to fill your ER prescriptions. Are you kidding me? This is unacceptable to be the closest Walgreens to the hospital and be closed. Worthless. read more

Yeah, it's just a Walgreens. But I do most of my shopping here. They have everything you could possibly want in the beauty department. I also use the photo center, just upload my photos and pick then up an hour later. But the main reason for the 5 star review is how awesome ALL of the staff is. I'm always greeted and treated with the best customer service I've ever had. The older French (I believe) gentleman is always so awesome! The pharmacy has repeatedly made large mistakes with my family's prescriptions, did not have a common medications that was needed immediately following surgery but did not call or try to locate it at the other Walgreens locations, and has charged for prescriptions that have no copay or patient responsibility and then refused to refund their mistake, deferring to corporate to process the refund. It's been a month and a half and still no refund. When I spoke to the manager, there was no apology and zero customer service. I will be transferring our business elsewhere. read more

The web site is misleading. In CDA they say they are open until Midnight. Maybe they are but the pharmacy closes much earlier. This should be clarified. I have been getting prescriptions here for 5 years now and we have been through constant battles of getting our prescriptions fulfilled. Sometimes, they don't give my husband his full prescription (for epilepsy), rarely does our auto fill go through. This last time, I called in my refill (for depression/anxiety) through the automated system for pick up that same day. My husband went to pick it up and they told him it wouldn't be ready until the next day. I waited 3 days for a text/call stating my prescription was ready for pick up. Nothing. So I called and talked to a pharmacist tech and they had nothing in the system that said I even called in my refill but that I had refills approved. So he told me I could pick it up in 3 hours. It's been almost 4 hours and I still have not received a call or text stating that my prescription is ready for pick up. Definitely switching to a different pharmacy now since they don't seem to care at all about filling prescriptions. read more

Horrendous customer service; regularly am called telling me i have a prescription ready, drive an hour each way to pick it up; get there it is not ready and told to wait 30-45 minutes and when return within that time frame am told that they are out of stock and have no idea when it will be ready. This is in addition to the attitude by the staff during the interchange. They also regularly lose prescriptions, claim to never receive them even though I have asked the doctors office for the confirmation fax was sent and received...yes there is that capability...and I provide them with the confirmation information; they become angry and say doctors offices lie. Once it took 6 times for them to "receive" the fax. I do not recommend this place at all. read more

I am extremely disappointed in Walgreens as a company and will no longer use them as a option for my shopping.
