The friendly and helpful staff who helped us was as memorable as the tea, to be honest. This is to say that the tea wasn't exactly perfect to start off, because we had to take it back two or three times for more sweetening which gradually but surely bright both teas to our preferred sweetness level. The staff was patient and smiled throughout the several back and forth, and that took any sting off having to take the teas back repeatedly. The brew for the green and black tea was acceptable, even if it may not rank in our all-time faves. I hope they continue to do well. read more

So excited for Brossard to have its own little bubble tea joint! Home to one of the largest Asian communities in the province, I can't believe there weren't more places to enjoy this refreshing and fun beverage. Located in the same strip mall close to the C&T Chinese supermarket, this Chatime outlet shares its space with Rolopan crepe which serves sweet and savory crepes that are handmade on the spot. The store just opened on Sunday August 12 so I couldn't find any mention of it anywhere. I randomly came upon it when I was looking to get a drink from "Maison de Soya" next door. The inside was bustling, staff was enthusiastic and they had a buy one get one free for drinks. Chatime has a range of milk teas, smoothies, juices and flavored teas that can be customized with your level of sugar, ice and toppings such as a tapioca pearls, jelly and other varieties. We tried a chocolate beverage, classic milk tea and lychee flavoring which were well made to our specifications and tasted delicious. Compared to other bubble tea chains though, I find the drinks quite expensive. For a large tea with bubbles, it'll be anywhere from 5.75 to 6$ plus tax. We did not try crepes from Rolopan however they have a menu display with plastic food similarly to what you would find in Japan so it gives you a great idea of what to expect. Priced at around 6$ a crepe, this could make a light snack or dessert. The space is pretty small and seems to only have a take out counter as there were no tables or seats, however this could change once the crowds die down. I'll be updating my review with more details as I definitely plan on coming back in the next weeks. Got the singapore milk tea and the bbq ribs and mushrooms crepe. Both were pretty good. The milk tea was creamy. The crepe was crispy on top and tender in the middle. The ribs was heated up in the microwave so wasn't that great. The place is clean. It has no sits so you can't chill there. The staff were friendly and nice and the service was quick. It's definitely nice to have a decent boba place in brossard. read more

So happy to FINALLY have a good bubble tea place in South shore!!! Now i don't have to go all the way downtown when the craving comes! Chatime and Rolopan in 1 building best of both worlds! This store is a little hard to find but it's located in a strip near C&T. CHATIME: A Taiwanese bubble tea chain, that have a lot of different varieties of bubble tea. Mind you that the point system is different from other chatime in Dt. They have their own application for their reward system. When i ordered my drink (lychee yogurt QQ)the wait was a little longer than expected. I hope it gets better with time. I had a small issues when i came for a second time,i tried passing my rewards card and the girl said it doesn't work yet. Told her i had already done it once. She had to go ask her others to make sure. They should train each employee to be on the same page,not have a couple lost not knowing whats going on. Other than that the taste was good,same as usual! ROLOPAN: Happy to have a rolopan here, first time i tasted it was at La Ronde. They have the some salty crepes like a burger,ribs or smoked meat flavor. But they also have sweet crepes: banana and chocolate,brownie etc. Each crepe vary from 6.99-9.99. I ordered the rib crepe "S12",it was good but just too much bbq sauce. It was overflowing with it. "Less is more". Overall having both in 1 store chatime on 1 end crepes on the other is great! Cons: 1-Once you walk in theres a huge empty awkward space. I thinkwith time they'll be adding tables and chairs but right now its just empty and weird. 2-They close SO EARLY! Which is kind of disappointing.Everyday they open at 11am-9pm. I would think Friday or Saturdays they would stay open till at-least 10pm like others in Dt. Most ppl go for a bbt at night. 3-Their sign is so small that it's hard to spot between the other stores. Wooohooo Chatime is FINALLY in the South Shore! So happy that the famous Taiwanese bubble-tea chain made its way to Brossard Went yesterday around 8pm (day after its grand opening) and there was a decent line-up. Looks like it is already super popular. It shares its location with Rolopan, the renowned Japanese Crepe chain so a fabulous new 2 in 1 dessert spot! Inside it is clean, modern and bright with no seating so more of a grab and go, though many decide to hangout outside or in the ample parking lot in front. I ordered my usual (Passion Fruit Green Tea with Tapioca Pearls) which is my absolute favourite hence why I have not tried many of the other flavours. There is something for everyone though, whether you prefer fruity or milky and you can even customise for a healthier option the level of sweetness, ice and choose from a variety of toppings. Our server was super friendly and I appreciate that she took time to explain the process despite there being a line-up. Prices are a little steep (approx. $6 for a regular-sized custom drink) but great to try for its novelty. The Rolopan crepes smelt delicious and I enjoyed watching one customer's order being prepared live in front of us. Keep in mind they are tiny (can probably be devoured in a couple of bites) so maybe more of a little snack. Overall, great new addition to the South Shore, worth trying! read more
