I knew that whatever house project we worked on next, I was going to hire someone who could bring the quality we wanted. I first reached out to Zenith Builder about potential home projects and met with Zuriel in 2023. He was honest and gave his perspective on the different options we were considering. We ended up not going through with any projects at that time because everything was out of our budget and we needed to figure out what we wanted. Fast forward to this past April, we finally decided to remodel our garage. I didn't even hesitate and knew I wanted to hire Zenith. Zuriel came out again and talked through the details of the different options we were considering. Once we decided on the initial scope, they started and worked quickly. The project manager was really communicative and easy to work with. When we added scope in the middle of the project, Zuriel was transparent about the additional costs and even though we approved over text, he would still quickly put together the documentation to send over for approval. If you're looking for a stress-free experience in remodeling/construction, look no further because Zenith is your answer. After the experiences we had, Zenith is worth every penny. I will use them again when we do our next home renovation.

They also offer drafting and 3d rendering services for a small added fee so you definitely know what you're signing up for prior to a larger project. After buying a new house, we were looking for creative solves to fix an extremely weird and small bathroom situation where expanding it was not going to be a straightforward solve given limited spacing in our house... and not wanting to expand our house which would take even longer to move in and break the bank for us. Zenith is your one stop shop, with electrical and plumbing covered for this type of project. They can also help with some materials too and you'll get a very clear quote on what is or isn't needed to purchase/covered allowances that they can help procure. While it looks like I won't be able to go with them this time (purely due to budget, but they were extremely fair and competitive with their pricing for the level of service they offer), Zenith was extremely helpful in giving us their perspective and I have no doubt they can get the work done in a great manner. Zuriel at Zenith was very patient with me and highly responsive with my questions, always responding back in a timely manner. Highly recommend you consider them when looking for contractor quotes!

At first we tried to do it ourselves by finding family recommended architect to draw prints for us for submission and whatever else the city wants. Then we tried to find contracts and they either stuck up their noses at us or didn't even bother showing up at the appointment. Finding a trustworthy contractor is hard. So I looked up Yelp and found Mr. Parrague and initially contacted one of the reviewer, Henry, because he offered to shed more light on his experience. He was so kind and highly recommened Parrague Construction. And I'm living in another country and my Mom's English isn't fluent enough to handle this kind of matter. So I called Mr. Parrague and he made me feel safe. He is a one stop shop because I wasn't sure if the city was going to ask to redo the blueprints or not. He was very professional, on-time, and does not push for extra things just to make more money, in fact it's the opposite. He is tough, which you need to be when dealing with the city, and very experienced. He will go out of his way to help you. His crew is clean and his assistant is also kind and very communicative, but Mr. Parrague usually is your main point of contact. He likes to handle the calls himself. Once my mom called around 5pm saying they installed the garage door wrong (they did not) and I thought she got locked out of the house. I had to call Mr. Parrague from outside the country (Skype) and he said he will go straight to my house after his meeting which was an hour away from my house bc they had my spare key. I told my mom and realized she wasn't locked out. So whether it was installed correctly or not, it was NOT an emergency. I quickly messaged Mr. Parrague because it can be dealt the next day. I didn't want him to get in an accident trekking across LA. He understood and STILL showed up! This is now probably 7pm. They figured out that it was my Mom who didn't understand how the new garage door worked....So I am so thankful for them for their work and for dealing with the City and get me approved and case closed. I am a fan. XD

We've interviewed a few home builders, checked out their work and reputation, and eventually decided to go with Gil, Oren, and the whole team of Go Home Builders. Working with the insurance was a pain, luckily Gil had experience working with Allstate insurance before, and he helped us a lot getting the money we needed to rebuild our home. The planning process took a bit longer than what we initially planned for. The county of LA took their sweet time approving our plans. Fortunately, after 2 sets of revisions we were fully approved. The construction wasn't bad at all, they had plenty of guys working on our home at the same time. The only time there was no work, was on inspection days. The finishes was one thing that was extremely important for us. My wife and I are detail oriented and wanted to make sure we're choosing the right company to do the finish work correctly. All I can say is that they exceeded my expectations. Overall the beginning of the process was extremely emotional challenging, but the whole team of Go Home Builders made us feel like we're not alone. My wife and I are very grateful for them. I'd highly recommend.

I had a rough vision in mind for fitting a lot into a relatively small space, but wanted to see the options rendered so I could better make the big layout and design decisions. Alexis was very patient and super helpful in mocking up each iteration until we locked in the final design. Once it was time to actually break ground, Gil, Oren, Uriel, and the rest of the team were really responsive and always available by text. Unlike previous contractors we've worked with, they usually gave us an idea of what was happening the next day/week and who to expect onsite. The first ~70% of the project went really smoothly and far exceeded my expectations. Demo, framing, rough plumbing, and electrical all largely went without a hitch. We ran into some problems towards the end around communication, timeline, and subcontractor oversight -- which led to more delays when someone punctured our new in-wall toilet tank and flooded both the bathroom and bedroom. We know every construction job runs into challenges so we weren't bent out of shape by it, and we did appreciate that GHB took full responsibility for fixing the issues. By and large we were really impressed by most of their subcontractors, especially the very professional and considerate plumbing, electrical, and tiling teams! After living with our new bathroom for a while now, we can definitely say it was worth the wait, and such a huge improvement over our previous dysfunctional layout. Thanks to GHB for their great service, amazing attitude, attention to detail, and for bringing the bright, colorful bathroom of my dreams to life!

I had a crew out to my house the very next day. They removed the entire step and used all new composite material. There is no paint that will peel, no splits in wood. Spacing of the planks is perfect. I would absolutely hire them again. EDITED TO NOTE, I HAVE BEEN CONTACTED BY THE COMPANY. THEY ARE VERY WILLING TO CORRECT THE ISSUES. I AM PLEASED ABOUT THAT. I WILL UPDATE FURTHER WHEN THIS HAPPENS. I spent approximately $75,000 with this company. The paving job was the main job. Front, driveway and backyard. They did an awesome job on the pavers. The small job was to add a wooden step around an existing wood deck. This is where everything fell apart. The planks were laid at different distances apart. The paint bubbled in numerous places. The Redwood they said they used, has split down the center of some pieces. Josef was responsive to my complaints and sent out the worker to repair. This happened 3 times. He repaired the wood cracks with "bondo". There are so many layers of paint, it's peeling off. I gave this company one year and 3 attempts to make this step look as it should. It's now been almost 1.5 years and now it's time to let the world know...DO NOT HIRE WAY TO GO BUILDERS for any wood projects. You will be wasting your money. I'm attaching pictures.

He kept the job moving at a surprisingly fast pace and promptly resolved issues as they arose. Pricing was competitive -- we got multiple estimates and Way To Go came in reasonable without cutting corners. You can see it in the finish quality: the stonework is clean, the tile on the curved bench is precise, and the side yard pathway turned out better than we imagined. Our pool cleaner gave high praise on the resurfacing work when he arrived for the first cleaning! Highly recommend for anyone looking to transform their outdoor space -- quality work, fair pricing, and a timeline that'll surprise you.

Jose is like his right hand man and gets the job done. Not only getting the job done but does it very well. From his showroom, we were able to pick out all the designs that we wanted and seeing the end result, I was truly impressed. His prices are fair and he's upfront about everything. Amin will answer any questions you have throughout the entire process. Even if you text him at 9pm he will respond quick. If he says something will be done by a certain time frame, he will ensure that it is done. I really wanted LED mirrors at the end and he wasn't able to do it. We were even willing to pay extra for it! We ended up having to get plain, boring mirrors with no LED which was pretty disappointing. Also, one of the biggest issue I had was I wanted all the outlets changed since the previous ones were yellow and old but he said it'll be an additional charge. White walls and yellow outlets? EWWW!! We pretty much did a whole gut renovation and spent a fortune but couldn't get our outlets switched out. I thought it would be an easy switch but apparently he said it costs to change bc it has to do with the electrical aspect of it. Didn't know that but now I know. We ended up finding a handyman to do it at less than a fraction of his price. Although we had a few disagreements here and there but from start to finish, Amin was available to answer our questions, concerns and help fix anything. He is so easy to work with and made this whole process extremely seamless. The team was able to get everything done and we moved in on the date that we wanted to. I'm so glad we found Amin and his team!!
