Bay Point at Mill Falls - View of the lake from my room.

There was dust in all…read morecorners, a cob web hanging from the ceiling reaching over to the bed, and brown water stains on the ceiling as well. We wouldn't dare sit on the couch. When we peeled back the bed sheets, there was a brown streak stain. The balcony was beautiful and offered a great view of Lake Winnipesaukee. However, it was unusable because of the amount of spider webs and insects inhabiting it. Unfortunately, this lodging was unacceptable and we did not end up staying the night.

Outside and down below the balcony was the outdoor seating area of the cafe restaurant and the parking lot. It was too annoying to sit outside on the balcony with the kitchen smells and noises and loud conversations of patrons enjoying their meal. The lake view was half obstructed by a tree shading the patio of the restaurant below. When I tried to change from this unacceptable room to one that was more acceptable they left me waiting for about 45 mins with no call back. When I called back after that 45 mins, they still said they were trying to switch the room. At that point, I was tired of waiting and accepted the room. I would not recommend this hotel. There was no mention of some compensation for my extreme disappointment with the room or of perhaps another room tomorrow I would find acceptable. Again, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

I only realized later on that Oscar winning movie On Golden Pond was filmed on location around the area. Upon checking in I found out free breakfast was provided at premise 8-10am everyday. Beautiful views of the lake and sunrises right from the room. Even better views from the beach on premises. The rooms are very clean and the entire place is kept well. King size bed in our room. I am used to a full kitchens with Rci. The only thing that is provided is a mini fridge and a microwave. Not sure if the two bedrooms have a full kitchen. The outdoor hot tub is large enough for 16 people. Beautiful stonework around the hot tub and a great view of the lake. I suggest going in at night when you can see the stars. I didn't realize there was free continental breakfast served daily between 8 to 10. Lots of great choices from cold cereals to eggs. You can eat in the breakfast area, or take back to your room. Plates and utensils are provided. Many different kinds of drinks are available in the cooler. Other than the hot tub, there is a small workout room, sauna, and beach on premises. Each room has a coffee maker with coffee and tea provided. They also provide shampoo, conditioner, and soap. There is an ice machine downstairs for ice coffee or drinks. I would definitely recommend staying here. There are many more activities during the summer than winter. I basically used the week to relax. Overall great experience with Center Harbor Inn. Highly recommend.

Since we had a 4 year old & a newborn with us we opted to get a room to spare a retired aunt and nearby campers of potential crying. This place was lovely! The view alone is worth it, set on a hill overlooking Lake Winnie! There are cottages each with its own grill, porch and parking (separated buildings) and then there is the main building with rooms attached. Because we are such a last minute decision we were only able to snag a room in the main building. It was a lovely room with two beds, air conditioning and clean! The only downside is that there isn't enough "counter space" for things. The bathroom didn't have any it was just a mirrored medicine cabinet in the bathroom and in the room itself, just atop the dresser and a little space on the nightstand which already had things on it. Other than that, there were chairs outside the room to sit outside and enjoy (we did during a rains storm). Also, we were the first room and everyone has to walk by our room to get to theirs as there's just one entrance so while in the room we kept the curtains drawn but it was not bad. They redid the pool evidently and it's a warm saltwater pool and it was so nice! They have plenty of towels and pool toys there along with ability to Bluetooth music. There's a deep end and shallow end. We made some friends at the pool! There isn't much shade just a few umbrellas so you need to get there at the right time. The property is located next to one of the best ice cream spots Kellerhause and there's a trail to walk directly over - this can be dangerous! It's also extremely dog friendly - we met so many cute pups! But surprisingly it's still clean so there isn't any indication of dogs in the rooms and my husband is allergic and he was fine. Consider this place if you are looking to check out this area of NH - you won't regret it!
