Spent THREE hours on phone with SS who made WF look like absolute crazy people. I was told they didn't know where my money was and it couldn't be canceled. This was a month ago! I've got to go and sign affidavit at bank to start process of new check. This bank had NO idea how to handle (though casher had customers complaining about it). Told me long process, I'd have to spend time at bank and there would be charges. The banker stared at computer with no idea what to do. I said I would not pay fees for this tremendous screw up and he said he'd find out all and call back promptly. Didn't happen. Definitely leaving Wells Fargo. So many problems including not catching people using card number for rent, foid, etc. on East coast despite living on West coast. Thousands of dollars. Never fully reimbursed. The staff were profoundly rude, didn't explain anything, and never said thank you--nothing. She will be changing banks. I've never encountered that level of poor service from a bank before. It took exactly 9 minutes to cash a $100 check.

The branches only want to have two tellers per location. I've been in so many of their branches when I've needed to speak to a teller and there have been lines of ten to fifteen people waiting. In one branch, a lady starting screaming for a manager to notice the lines and do something about it!' What makes it worse is that while customers are waiting in line for service, there are five or six people sitting at desks working on their computers. Couldn't at least one of them stand up and actually start helping waiting customers? Or is that beneath them? I've been told, "that's the future of banking at Bank of America". I've told them that future will not include me as a customer. It's pretty pitiful.

They have updated the ATMs so you can get different denominations of bills, not just $20s which I think is cool. If you need to do business in the branch be prepared to wait, plan ahead.
