Horrible! 2 tellers behind the glass chatting the whole time while letting me sit there waiting. Finally, a customer walks in the door and one of the teller asked if I was waiting for someone. I approached her window & said I do not have an apt. She then replied "oh, we close in 30 mins and we don't have a banker" She did offer to make an apt for me for Monday. I can do that on my own, thank you very much. What you should have done was greeted your clients as soon as we came in & let me know you don't have a banker available to assist. Instead of having me sit there for 15 mins, and then tell me. It wasn't like they were busy doing anything else but chatting and laughing loudly. There was another couple waiting in the lobby with me and they came out right after me. And they were there before I even came in. I can't imagine how long they were waiting! This was the third location after driving around on a weekday that was actually OPENED ! Two other locations were closed at 10-11am on a Tuesday but no reflection of closing. The older lady who was at the door, I think she was the manager. I told her the other locations were closed without any notifications. She apologized. It wasn't her fault. Gross Disgusting Bank! All Chase Banks! I opened a new Business Checking and they put a 14 DAY HOLD on my very first two checks deposited. These checks cleared Wells Fargo within two days, but they are still holding my money. Im a small business, I need to pay my warehouse rent, my stagers, my movers, they left me with NOTHING!! They're a big bank and have NO RIGHT to use my money to invest and make more money for them, while I struggle. If I could give 1 star I would. As soon as they finally release my money I'm closing both my personal and my biz account with them. A normal hold is 2 days, this is ridiculous!!! Go to Wells Fargo or Meriwest. read more

A reason Chase Bank closed this branch The Chase Bank in Milpitas on Park Victoria, if you're not Asian they talk to everybody around you and just totally ignore that you're standing in front of them. So I checked into there interest they're paying and whether it's a benefit to the customer or not. I deposited $15,000 and after 3 months the totally paid me was $0.30. Interest rate 0.00008%. If you charge $15,000 you have to pay $ for three months, OUCH! Credit 15.99 = $599.63 Cash 24.99= $1,249.50 WOW just a heads up. read more

The nearest Chase bank from where we live. I hardly stop by Chase unless I needed to deposit or if there's a problem with my account. The service here is not as good as Wells Fargo. Nobody welcomes you when you walk in and the bank tellers acted like they don't enjoy their jobs. I worked as a bank teller before and no matter how much I hated it, I always provide great service to my customers. Also, I hated small parking lot. When it was busy you have no where to park. Sometimes I had to park next to the building and walk from there. The traffic light is right next to the bank, so during rush hour, it was hard to pull in the drive way since there was so many cars. I suggest coming here when it's not busy and don't expect much out of the customer service. read more

I have been a Chase customer for 9 years and today was the first day I experienced the worst customer service from the branch. I simply wanted to open another account and was given the run around with no one knowing what to do with what seems like a simple request. I was provided the options to open the account and when we got to one specific thing the business banker needed, she couldn't help me anymore. I understand sometimes we don't know the answer, I just simply needed more help with my request. This branch does NOT deserve a one star, but more like a negative one star! I usually go to the Chase bank located on N. Milpitas Blvd, however, since I was in the area of Park Victoria, I decided to come here to deposit several auto insurance reimbursement checks with a few names listed as the payee, but not included in my account. However, the payees included me and my husband's name. Two of the tellers with one being the supervisor could NOT tell the difference between a first and last name. Mind you, the payee names were listed as "last name, first name". I had to explain to them numerously how the payee names were listed. Since they still couldn't understand because there were multiple names listed, they had the nerve to request to see my auto policies that included all of the insured names to verify that the checks I was depositing were in fact legit. I became so frustrated because I had no problems before in depositing the similar auto insurance reimbursement checks I received to other Chase banks. It was this particular location that were questioning me who were the payees and wanting to see my auto insurance policy that are clearly privacy matters. Due to them not understanding, I walked out and went to the branch on N. Milpitas Blvd. instead (the usual branch I go to). The checks went through WITHOUT any questions. I asked the teller why the other branch couldn't deposit given that my name was indeed listed as the payee and I was depositing the checks to my account even though there were other names listed not included in my account, and he was puzzled. Bottom line - so long the payee's name is listed and it is being deposited to the payee's account, the check(s) should be deposited with no questions. I went into the branch to get a form printed only because I don't have my printer set up at home yet. I went in the line to get cash and there's was about a 15 second wait (seriously and realistically). I sat with a banker who assisted me and she was very nice. I've never had any issues with Chase and I've been a customer since the WaMu days. read more

I think the main reason it took me this long to say goodbye to that said bank is simply due to the fact of my laziness of having to reroute all my set bill pays/direct deposits/online accounts/etc. Anyway, after checking out a few different banks, I decided to go with chase (also because I got a referral from my sis :P) I feel horrible that I don't remember the name of the guy that helped me open my accounts, but he was super friendly and helpful. I go to this bank because it is the closest to me. The drive-thru ATM machine would not be able to dispense cash a lot so I would park and just use the ATM machine in the front. Trash all over the outside of the bank. Trash can near the front entrance is always overflowed. Graffiti and some damage on the ATM machines which makes it look suspicious. This bank is not the cleanest but it'll do the job. read more

It was a little difficult to maneuver into the parking lot though since it was on the corner on the other side of the street from where I was coming from, so I would imagine it would be a little tougher if there was more traffic. read more

If I could leave negative stars I would. I've been banking with this chase branch (since it's close to home) for well over a year. Horrible is an understatement! Their ATM's are always having issues. The drive thru ATM is always down or not dispensing cash. Their walk up ATM processes your transaction but DOES NOT DISPENSE any cash. Then you have to waist your time disputing the transaction. The manager informed me that they are not technicians. Obviously. But as management you need to escalate the issue and make sure your ATM's are in working order. This has been a constant issue for OVER A YEAR. Get it together! read more

I drove to all the chase banks in Milpitas and they were all closed at the beginning of December. I end up driving all the way to Fremont. I really hope I won't have this issue again because I shouldn't have to drive out of Milpitas to go to a bank. If they are not open, at least change on the recordings that it's closed. We needed to stop by this location to deposit a check and talk with a banker. I was surprised that the lines weren't too long on a Saturday. We go to the teller and make a deposit and only had to wait a short time to see the banker. The kids also enjoyed their free lollipops. read more

I come here almost every other day to make deposits for work. They have a very friendly staff that will greet you with a smile. Camille and Nancy are the best! Before I found this branch, I dreaded having to go to the bank. Who actually likes making deposits for work?? The staff here really makes going to the bank feel less like a chore. Today was a very slow day, JHOANNE V. the only teller dealing with only a couple customers in line did none of the above. She barely wanted to acknowledge the customers waitting in line. The service is great! The tellers are very friendly and helpful. The drawback to banking with Chase Bank is all the new costs to the customer. Cashier's checks and money orders which were free a few month ago now cost between $8-$10 a piece, it's cheaper at Wal-mart or a check cashing place. read more

This is place is like any other bank. Tellers are okay, and you're usually in and out of there. I would rate this place a 3-star, but the only reason for the extra one due to their atm's. They finally updated them where you can deposit a bunch of checks and bills instantly. The best part is if you come late at night to use the atm, you have to slide your card to get inside. Had a horrible first experience here at this Chase branch with a bank teller named Rashelda. I wanted to make a deposit inside rather than outside because I already parked my car and had a large sum of money in my hands and thought it would be safer to deposit indoors. When I came up to Rashelda she pretty much directed me out the door telling me that it'll save her time if I used the atms located outside after telling her I didn't not trust those machines because of previous problems I've had with them. I would think helping people deposit and withdraw their money is a bank teller's job especially when there was no one else in the bank!! What can I say.. Staff is friendly but corporate banking procedures in general lag. It takes one hour just to open a bank checking account because of all the inquiries and paperwork Chase Bank puts their customers through. If u must bank with Chase you will need to take a full day off from work because you will be here all day waiting and waiting and waiting. If you however have a life and no time to waste, bank elsewhere like Wells Fargo, Citibank, or Comerica where they understand time is precious and not to be wasted waiting at a bank. read more

Their new procedure to access your safe deposit box is moronic: Instead of queuing up in the teller line to access your box, which has been quite efficient, you now sign in to queue up behind people who are opening accounts or obtaining other bank services, wait for bank personnel to shuffle papers or attend to personal needs, etc. The other problem is that there appears to be no California headquarters address to which to forward a complaint about this unacceptable level of service. read more
