I have a business, checking, savings, and credit card with chase. I do most of my banking online, as it is easy and efficient. However, I travel frequently for work and come into branches often to get singles to tip shuttle bus drivers, ect. I have also exchanged currency here. My experience with Chase has always been a good one. They have convenient locations and the service is good. I was with BoA for 15 years previously and left strictly for customer service issues. I see the low score, and I just haven't had that experience. I've been with chase for probably about 15 years and I have no complaints. read more

Massively disappointed with Chase Preferred Card rewards. I properly redeemed my points to purchase 2 iphones and 2 alexas back in Nov 10. Called the other day to see where my items were, and they tell me the order was cancelled. I had no call, no text, no email to back that up. They chose to lie to me and gave me an excuse only escalating the massive issue with them. So I continued to try and get this rectified, they gave me to a supervisor which has no say but to escalate to another level and wait for 7-10 days for an answer. This is just pure ignorance on their part. Myself being a manager most of my life, the simple remedy would be, "Mr. Stoltz, this is our problem and we are extremely apologetic with issue. Please go to an Apple store and pick out your items charge the cc and we will refund that including a$300 as a thank you." Now it looks like I might get my order sometime next year. Not satisfied whatsoever. Several mistakes. After waiting an extended period for a Personal Banker (while no one else was waiting for a PB) Yolanda greeted me with a not so friendly greeting, and after hearing why i was there, added more frustration to my experience and time taken out of my day. I understand why extra "necessary steps" are at times needed to verify information is true, but in doing so I would expect a better customer service experience be provided! Ultimately the reason I went was taken care of but not in a timely or satisfying manner. Would not return. read more

3pm. Only one banker was available who didn't acknowledge my presence. She had a quick conversation with the client before me. No, "we will be with you shortly" or question as to why I was there. 25 min wait for a signature that never happened because I had to go pick up my child. Yup. Just as testified by other negative reviews. I have been their customers for over 3 years. Reason I opened an account with them because of the convenience of Safe Deposit box. Their customer service informed me on day 1 if my husband can produce documents of current or retired military service, we can obtained a free safe deposit account which we did. A full year later, we received the annual statement and there was an annual charge for the usage of safe deposit box. We made inquiries and was informed that they DID NOT received any formal documentation on my husband's military service, So we went back again to submit the documents and signed whatever relevant papers they showed us. We thought the issue was resolved till the end of the 2nd year when we received another letter summarizing the charges that levied on our Bank account. We called and was given the same answer that they DID NOT received or previous Bank staff DID NOT make any changes to our account. We were asked to provide the necessary documents and we did. But after 2 weeks, we received the Bank statement that showed the annual Safety Deposit Box was charged anyway. We went to the Bank and asked the customer service staff and she could not explain why and couple of phone calls that went no where. So , it was totally dishonesty, incompetence and wasted time. So we closed our account with them. read more

This is the worst Chase branch I have ever been into. I went to cash a check from a Chase account for $10.00, when I first arrived, there was no teller in sight, nor did an employee show up to offer their assistance. I decided to wait it out in front of the teller's desk. After roughly 10-12 minutes, a female employee with an annoyed look shows up, she then asks me "What do you need?". I told her I just wanted to cash this check, she then replied "Do you have an account with Chase?". I told her I did, but also informed her that it shouldn't matter because I just want to cash a check that's from Chase. She then asks me for my license, after I gave it to her, she went to the back of the building for about 10 minutes. When she returned, I asked her what was taking so long to cash a $10.00 check. She said that she couldn't find my account, I replied to her by saying that I told her from the beginning that my account should not even be necessary to cash this check. The teller then tells me "Yes, but we have to charge an $8 fee to non-account holders if the check is $50 and over". I then immediately told her that this check is for $10, an amount no where close to $50. I felt that this employee was either not trained properly, or just completely ignorant, possible both. I have been to the Chase branches located in Colleyville, Flower Mound, and Lewisville, and have never had a bad experience like this. If they do not want to be in customer service, then they have chosen the wrong job. read more
