I'm a private client-meaning I'm going be other bigger customers. I switched my Amex platinum for a sapphire reserve. However the rep in this branch signed me up for a preferred card. I specifically asked for a reserve card and we discussed the $550 annual fee. I recently realized the error. They told me I have to wait a whole year to upgrade and are not offering to fix it. I spend thousands of dollars a month and the points are a big deal Now I'm not only out the extra points I should have earned for the past 6 months but they aren't willing to correct their mistake. I've switched back to charging on my Amex. Just lousy business-I want to pay them more and give them my monthly purchases and they won't take it. I don't seem to have one person I can have as my contact in the bank either. Really lousy way to service their best customers. read more

I hate going to this branch. There is a girl name Brighette she has wired attitude. She looks up at you seeing that you are in line and then she starts to act busy makes you wait. This happened so many times until coworkers ask her to help me few times now. This is totally intentional. Then when she helps you intimidates you and asking do I have chase card when she clearly sees me pulling it out. I try to avoid this girl but seems as no other tellers. She was also rude to me couple times slams checks in front of me tells me to sign them. She is not pleasant ever or greet you. I have said hi to her and she acted as like don't talk to me I don't like you. This is not how a customer should get treated. I never had issues with chase employees as they always seem so sweet. This girl needs another career this is not for her. I really hope chase does something I have been banking there since Washington Mutual for so many years now as this branch is close to my home. I have been banking with Chase since 2013 and I always try and do all my business at this branch. I live in SF but grew up in Corte Madera so i have developed a relationship with this location. I set up my JPM Private Client brokerage account here. Jack is awesome and is very well versed in the current market and the needs of different investors. Alfredo is another all star and was unbelievably helpful when it came time for me to start planning a separate retirement from my work benefits. I have yet to have any issue here and hope that it stays that way. read more

Lousy level of service. Long-time (decades) Chase customer with multiple personal and corporate accounts who simply needed a straight-forward power of attorney notarized. Turned away with the explanation that the staff feared for their personal safety (what about mine?) in this time of COVID-19; they will only provide notary support if the documents are Chase documents. Not the way to serve a customer or run a business. I'm strongly considering moving my accounts (and all the fee income they generate for Chase) to a more responsive financial institution. Should get negative stars. I had a check written on a Chase account and went here to cash it because my bank is located in Texas (USAA). The lead teller, Katrina claimed to be the branch manager and said they only cash checks up to $2,500. If you have a Chase check for more than $2,500 don't bother trying to get them to honor it. Apparently some people are rating the website or other aspects of Chase banking, I'm rating this branch at the address above. I tend to forget to rate banks. I went into this branch though I usually avoid going into banks because I hate to wait in line, but mid-day there was no wait and I got very friendly service. The woman who helped me was a quietish person, friendly, and helpful. No complaints, if all banking were this easy and friendly then I wouldn't insist on only using the ATM. read more

Considering the magnitude of the number of Chase branches one would imagine the senior operations people would be exceptional...they are in a way...exceptionally poorly trained. No system of oversight in place. Ask 3 different employees the same question and you will get 3 different answers.
