Anthony Vai and his staff were top notch from start to finish. We were seated at a nice booth, the server was very friendly, we ordered up a couple of Bloody Marys and our final decisions were the Hole in the Grilled Cheese for the Mrs. and I ordered the Toasted Waffle Benedict. Both were pretty good but the Toasted waffle Benedict was a little on the sweet side with a spicy tang here and there...maybe a little too sweet, was hoping for a better ballance. Was hoping for a few better options for a brunch, but was still pretty good. We may be back to try a lunch or dinner item.

I was asked to taste it to get my opinion and i thought the steak meat texture seemed off. No flavor and i had to chew and chew and chew. The meat wasn't tough but the texture just seemed odd. The salad was returned and chili was ordered just for the sake of eating something to finish dinner. I would only return here for drinks possibly.

The students we've interacted with on our visits always have been pleasant and helpful. The price is incredibly reasonable, and I feel like they could absolutely charge more than they do! The only downside, and it's a small one, is that I feel like some of the furnishings could be updated (new carpets, etc), as it feels a little dated. That said, it's a college restaurant, and it doesn't really make sense to update some of that stuff unless it's actually necessary.
