My family was very…read morewary about groomers because we tried three different places before Canine designing and either Wrigley would act drugged and lethargic or get diarrhea. Therefore, we explained to Kathy our situation and our past experiences with Wrigley being at other groomers and she said no problem and that she would start him slow so that he can trust her. Well let me tell you, Wrigley adores her and the staff as much as they adore Wrigley. He has never acted funny after an appointment, and he constantly is happy and playful after his groomings. They always put a cute little bandana on his neck, which we always need to take a picture of right when he gets it because he tries to eat it off, and overall, he is just one happy camper after appointments. My family and I are blessed to have Kathy and her staff in our lives for Wrigley because we never had a dog that needed to be groomed in the past. Therefore, this is new for us, too. We heard about Kathy through a friend of mine, and I am so happy to say that we are ecstatic she did! We make Wrigley's next appointments after every visit, which are about 6 weeks apart.

We have been fighting this since the fires began in Canada. Possibly related to her allergies but we're not sure. With Bella and Deans help I started out with wrap cone that didn't work out. I ran back to the store for another cure and I decided on a muzzle to prevent my dog from self mutilating her back side and tail. Both Bella and Dean couldn't have been more patient and compassionate and willing to help. They went beyond and I want to thank them from the bottom of my heart. I noticed there was dried blood on her paws. I will not be returning and would not recommend their services. But J'Niyah handled him with such calm, patient care that he settled in quickly. What really stood out to me was how gentle and thorough she was. Trooper came out happy, tail wagging, and smelling like he just stepped out of a puppy spa. Well, when you buy a business, you get the products, the fixtures and everything with the business - including the customer base. My cat was returned to me partially trimmed and uneven. To be fair, they did not charge me for the service. However, the interaction felt dismissive and lacked professionalism. There was no clear explanation beforehand that they might be unable to complete the grooming, and no real guidance or alternatives offered when they stopped. If a business is not equipped to handle certain cats or more difficult grooming situations, that should be communicated clearly before starting the appointment. Leaving with a partially shaved cat and little explanation was frustrating and disappointing.
