The quality of their products was exceptional--each ingredient tasted incredibly fresh, and their specialty cheeses like Blood Orange Cheese, Port Wine Cheese, and Irish Aged Cheddar were pure perfection. I also love that they make everything to order and prepare it just hours before pickup or delivery, ensuring maximum freshness. Shopping online was super convenient, and I appreciated the option to pick up my order in Burbank. I was pleasantly surprised to see that wine bottle openers, utensil sets, and extra crackers were available for purchase as well. Overall, Charqute delivered a top-notch charcuterie experience that I'll definitely be coming back for!

Ordered a small board for my staff month end reward. It was amazing. The 5 of us consumed just about all of it. It was almost too pretty to start eating. Delivered right on schedule. Everything g in the board was fresh and tasty. Excellent selection of nuts, fruits, meat, cheeses and sweets. Really really great food! Fast forward to the day before an event I'm hosting and the person who was supposed to help me prep food cancelled! I was scrambling for a charcuterie board and came to Yelp. If did not disappoint. I ordered the medium round board. The presentation was impressive but the food tasted even better. Karreno is a gem! I absolutely adore Charqute. The first time we hired Charqute, Karreno designed a beautiful, larger than life (or, for actual size, the surface of my entire kitchen counter ) cheese board for a large party that was not only as appealing to look at as it was delicious to eat! All of my guests raved about how beautiful it looked and tasted! Since then we have ordered quite a few cheese boards, each beautifully packaged, and hand delivered. On one particular occasion, Karreno and his team were super accommodating--putting together a last minute order for me and a guest who was vegan! I'm beginning to think we should do this more often - the results from Scott and Silver Spoons are outstanding. After our event was over, exhausted, we came back to our kitchen, and discovered scads of perfectly wrapped leftovers - Steve and I simultaneously went hunting for that incredible mustard - oh, no, did they leave us some? Yes! You left us a significant amount, nicely wrapped up. And you cleaned up the kitchen beautifully! Even mopped! Everything was left in perfect order. Many of our guests were already familiar with Silver Spoons from their experiences at University Synagogue (now part of Wilshire Boulevard Temple). The food, the presentation, interaction with guests, following of dietary/allergy restrictions - all perfect. We had magnificent vegetables for the vegans, gluten-free dishes of all kinds that were superb, regular dishes that were wonderful - the food was great. And the service is exceptional. The booking process was easy, and Alba was always quick to answer all of my questions, which I really appreciated. Our taco man arrived ahead of schedule, was very nice, worked efficiently, and the presentation looked great. He also gave me clear instructions about when he would call for the final round and reminded me to have containers ready for leftovers, which we did. I appreciated how organized and professional that part of the experience was. Unfortunately, there were a couple things this time that really didn't sit well with me. As the host of a party, I'm constantly moving around and making sure everything is running smoothly. As he was getting ready to leave, he asked me about a tip. I had every intention of tipping, but being asked directly felt uncomfortable and a little awkward. Then asked about the final payment. I told him I would send the payment through Zelle, he left--but came back shortly after to ask if I had sent it yet. I was still in the middle of hosting and hadn't had a chance to do it. It put me in an uncomfortable position, and my guests even started noticing and wondering what was going on. He apologized several times and explained it was the owner's policy, and I understand he may have been following instructions, but I ended up having to stop what I was doing during the party to send payment immediately. Afterward I checked the invoice and saw final payment was due the day of the event, which I completely understand. I just would have much preferred payment to be collected upfront upon arrival rather than being stopped during hosting while trying to manage guests. The food this time was also just okay--not as great as our first experience. I appreciate Alba's communication and the taco man effort, but unfortunately this experience felt very different from the first, and I won't be using Yummy Tacos again.
