My husband buys me a substantial gift certificate for Christmas. I kept forgetting to pull it out. When I finally remembered, she said it was over a year old so not valid. It says nothing of the sort on the certificate. They usually do a good .job. But throwing away our money on a card with enough for the Services and the tip, is not OK. The lady is so rude. Everytime I come she's always wanting me to put shalack on my real naILes. When I refuse she talks in her language to the men and they do my nails! The time before she charged me the same price to polish my 4 yr old nails! She also had to be asked not to use a file on the child's nails. This time she started talking before I got into the shop. She asked what I wanted I said just polish she looked UP ROLLED HER EYES & LONG LONG WAIT & SMILED. They have always been amazing for me! I started going to them a little over 2 yrs ago and I am continuously impressed. I typically have either one of two techs on the regular (the woman and the gentleman who is a HUGE Chiefs fan!). My pedicure was not outstanding, but when I went to pay I gave them a gift certificate for $30 and my balance should've been $20. He then said it would be an extra $5 to remove polish from one toenail. Then to make it worse they would not honor my gift certificate be cause it was 4 years old. According to Kansas State law it is good for five years., but he still had my card so he ran it for the balance. Instead of making a scene I left, but I will be turning them in to the Attorney General and will never go back. read more

Three of us went to get pedicures, and they pretty much did all of ours at once, one was staggered just a bit behind the other two of us but not by much. Each tech did a great job, they were friendly and we all left happy and satisfied with the jobs done. read more

I absolutely hate this place I would not recommend it to anyone. I've been there several times and have had a bad experience every time. Lady was doing my nails and was on the phone the whole time she bumped my nails and messed them up and got mad at me when she had to fix them. I told them I wanted coffin shape and they gave me almond shape when I corrected them they said oh it makes your nails look better anyway. The woman started doing my nails and then stopped, I waited and then a man came to finish them, he had absolutely no idea what he was doing and they were crooked, when I told him so he said no that's just your finger read more

I used to refuse to go anywhere else but Charm Nails to get my nails done but the past few years they have hired a lot of new people that have no idea what they are doing. Most of them try to get the nails done as fast as possible creating crooked nails and a painful nail experience. I wanted a simple cheetah print nail design and they drew circles. And not to mention the WHOLE staff is incredibly rude. They are always on the phone or talking to other workers in a different language and never pays attention to the customer. The last time I came in the only thing they said to me was "what do you want" "go wash your hands". They don't know how to treat a customer to make them come back and I know I never will. Went to get my nails done and they weren't even there despite the fact there sign and everything says they open at 9. What a shame

I went here on 6/26 after a long week and a long friday at work in an effort to relax. Well, my visit was anything but. First, I had to wait at least a half hour to be serviced. But seeing as it was 4pm on a Friday and I was a walk in, that was ok. When I sat down, the young cute girl that started with me wrapped my nails in polish remover and foil and then left to go service another customer with a pedi. I sat there. And sat there. And sat there. About 20 mins later I realized she wasn't coming back. The woman at the desk next to me asked me to sit at her table and continued the job. This is where it went from mildly annoying to inexcusable. This new woman proceeded to remove the foils and scrape off the old polish. She also scraped off a sizable chunk of my nail and left the raw meat exposed. I could see blood too. But the worst part is, she saw what she had done and didn't even say anything. I would've appreciated some show of remorse or a reduced price for my manicure. But no. She just continued like she hadn't just maimed me. Well as if that wasn't bad enough, there's more added insult. I had come in for a manicure but half way through my service this woman said. Oh you don't need a manicure, I'll just change your polish color. It was obvious she did this because there were several other people waiting and she didn't want to spend any more time with me. And to top it off, I had picked out the color I wanted, and this woman went and got another color, put that on and then put my color on top....... I knew what my color looked like. And I wanted that one, not some other color!!! In an effort to get out of there as fast as possible I actually paid this woman!!!!!! I regret that now. It's safe to say that I won't ever be back and I highly recommend anyone to think twice about going here, unless you want to be hurt, insulted and not even get the service or color requested. I've given them chance after chance, thinking it was just cultural differences. Nope. They're just rude and don't care about quality service. They don't cure the acrylic and rush through the process. My nails bubbled and chipped. I went to have them fixed. They fixed it, grumbled about me in Vietnamese the whole time, and did a crappy job on the fix. And then she tried to blame it on me. Yes, this is going everywhere I can post this because people should be warned. You won't be treated like your business matters and your nails will look like Dookie right after.
