We were told it would be an hour wait. After about 2 hours of waiting, we left. It is chaos in there. We tried calling a head to get an appointment. They said they only take walk ins. I asked if we could put our name on the walk in list and we would head right over. We were told no. We came to the mail salon, put our name in, and we're told it would be a 1 hour wait. We waited for 2 hours and we're still never assisted. It is not clean, it is not any where near luxurious. This is a cattle pen and the workers think we are cows. Do not recommend. Just got my "manicure" if you'll call it that. Soaked in water painted and done. Used the same towel as the last girl. With her nails still on it. Also used the same unsanitized nail clippers. Was going to get a pedicure but decided to forgo the foot infection. The lady was nice but had a very dirty station. My 7 year-old daughter and I sat in the pedicure chairs for an hour and 15 minutes before they began. Our total time spent in the salon for a child's pedicure, an adult's basic pedicure, and a full-set (including wait time) was 3 hours and 20 minutes. In addition to that, he charged me $112. I tipped $18 for a total of $130. Looking at my bank account, the amount charged was $165. When I called, he said, "oh yeah, I think he said he forgot to charge you for a pedicure." They didn't once try to reach me or include an explanation on the charge. The owner was unapologetic regarding the mix-up. Absolutely horrible experience. The quality of the service was a 5/10. Will never return to this salon. If you're looking for a salon in Topeka, I would recommend Dream Nails. Well, the plan was to take my hubby for a Father's Day pedi and I would get a quick acrylic full set. I figured A total of $85.00. Well, it went down hill, my set looks like crap, I was charged $70 just for my acrylics, the menu says $40, and then when we paid cash Lucky, the manicurist that totaled my nails, charges us a total of $97 and then chases us down in the parking lot and says we shorted him $20. My husband gave him the extra and then said that was crap. I gave him $105 damn dollars now I've given him $125. Don't t pay cash here folks. You will have no proof of paying. The owner does nails horribly. There is one girl in there that can do nails good. I think her name is Tina. The owner filled my nails and I left the building got into my car and my whole nail fell off. I didn't hit it on anything it just fell off. I waited long to get them filled in the first place and by the time I got to my car they had the door locked because it was closing time. I called and told them what happened and they said if I come back tomorrow they would fix it. I went in the next day and they fixed the nail but she asked me why I broke my nail, and kept making smart comments and before I left she asked if I was going to tip her for fixing her mess up. The staff is so friendly and always recognizes me and my mom when we come in. We come around every three months or so and they are great with their service! They don't pressure you to get more and treat you with respect. Most of the staff will converse with you while they are doing your nails which makes me love them more. Was not very happy with my fill. I asked for ombre' French tip fill. All she did was fill the pink which made it look like crap. So I just had her paint them. The way my nails were filed looked like crap. They were all jagged and looked like she barely tried to shape them. They were supposed to be almond shape but that was definitely not what they looked like. Didn't trim my cuticles or even apply cuticle oil. So irritated I paid money for this. read more

I called and made an appointment and asked for my nails and toes to be done they said they couldn't do my nails, wasn't mad, I understood they were too busy for me to get them done. Made an appointment at 12:30 and had to wait over an hour before anyone took me to the pedicure chair! Pedicure was decent, filed my toenails very uneven and rounded my big toes so they look pretty stupid.. the guy asked me if I was getting my nails done too, I told him what they said when I called, and the nail lady then said she could do them.. this is where it goes down hill... not only did she do them in 15 minutes, these are the worst set of nails I have ever had!!! Didn't push back or cut off the cuticle or hang nails before she started so that same day the edges already started lifting!!! And on 7 of my nails you can see the sides of my actual nail and one of my nails didn't get a top coat and one of them was soooo uneven!! Didn't notice this till I got home because I was being rushed out of there! So I called and asked them to fix it the next day, when I went back in I waited 30 minutes, then I realized I was over charged by $10, and they changed their prices and didn't tell anyone! So I told the lady, she argued with me and told me I was wrong for 10 minutes in front of everyone, told me I had to show her my bank statement on my phone and tried making up scenarios on why it came out to that total, I finally told her to get the receipt and I proved her to be wrong. She did give me the money back but then she was done with me and wouldn't fix anything else. There was so much that needed to be fixed still, the lifting edges, the sides of my nail showing, the acrylic product stuck to the underneath side on the tip! She also put a gel top coat on my nails without asking me if I wanted it and was still going to charge me for it, I told her I wasn't paying for something I DID NOT ask for!! I get my nails done here very often and I typically don't have a negative experience but I did today. The nail tech (male) that did my nails barely talked to me at all, which is sometimes normal and not a huge deal. While filing down and buffing my nails he was being extremely aggressive, he made me bleed on three different fingers and my cuticles are all cut up. I am always asked to wash my hands with water before getting gel painted on but when asking him if I needed to wash my hands he sternly said "no." And then he sloppily painted my nails. One of the fake nail tips he put on was so close to the tip of my natural nail that it was facing downwards and now it is very difficult for me to type with my thumb nail which I almost never have issues with. Not impressed with this place at all. Regular polishes are all more than half empty. Got a pedicure and they didn't use a liner in the foot tub. The man that did my pedicure had long scratchy nails and didn't wear gloves! I also had shellac that needed to be removed and he peeled it off!! Peeled it! And then charged me $5 for removal! He also messed up my big toe putting on my shoe (because the folded up napkins between my toes didn't work) and then rolled his eyes because he had to fix his mistake. I guess people come here because of the ok price, but I'd rather pay more for a little customer service, clean equipment, and no eye rolls. And there's another woman in my chair right now.
