I had been growing my hair for about 6 months and needed to find a barber. I will happily drive from Towson early in the morning to meet Kevin. He is the best. His demeanor is professional yet I had the most fun when we collaborated together to give me a cut that wasn't "tradtional." I know I only have a small area of hair on the sides and back to work with and he got that and hooked me right up. I'm definitely returning. Currently, my top is coiled and I'm going for a tapered side and back fade next time.

I had been going there off and on for a few years because the barber I liked left, but I would go there out of convenience between other barber shops to check out other barbers. I'm not going to mention any names in particular but he's always there, I'm sure you know him, I think he sits in the second chair. My last and final visit was not very good at all, very unprofessional, and I feel violated. I always make appointments, but I have to wait 30 minutes while he cuts someone's hair during the time, I made an appointment for, it never fails and when I'm in his chair he spends more time texting and talking than cutting my hair then rushes to finish towards the end. My last visit with him he walked off in the middle of my haircut, he didn't bother to excuse himself and didn't say anything when he came back either, then pushed me back in my seat when I leaned forward. I feel violated, the only place on my body he should be touching is my head area, not on my chest or anywhere else, I'm a paying customer, not a project to be walked away from to do whatever and finish they're ready. I'm not going to say every barber at Pikasso Kutz are the same, the other barbers that are professional with their customers. My brother was going there too before I told him what happened, he didn't like that at all, and I don't blame him.

Since moving to Baltimore I've been searching for a barber to cut my hair so I don't have to drive back to PG County. I've dabbled at a few spots and even settled on a spot. THEN, the woman cutting my hair disappeared! Anyway, here I am at Davis Barber, specifically for WaWa. I found her on my search and finally came for a cut. I hate having to going through the process of detailing what I want and hoping it's not bad. I mean, hair does grow back, but who wants to go through all that. But, WaWa had it under control. I found a pic of my hair after a cut. She asked a few questions, and BAM! It was done. I must admit, I was surprised for one by her understanding of what I wanted and 2) the fact that I wasn't in that chair for an hour while she tried to figure it out. That's what you call SKILL. And, when she was done I asked for a few modifications and......... I gotta say, I'M IMPRESSED. My partner is impressed as well. When she says she's been cutting hair for 15 years, and after personally experiencing her skills, I believe her. The shop is old school! It was like stepping back in time. They even had a few OLD, OLD vending machines. Vintage chairs and all. Very laid back. And older neighborhood, but you can park out front. I'll be back!

Peak times likely have all six chairs with barbers working but we arrived late Sunday afternoon when two (including owner) were on duty. Took a little while but was well worth the wait.
