I left…read morefeeling disappointed, not because of the esthetician herself, but because the service did not match the price or the luxury feel I felt was advertised. The facial felt very basic. There was no steamer, the mask felt like a simple paper mask, and the rubber gloves made the service feel more medical than relaxing. What disappointed me most was what was missing: no neck or chest massage, no hand or arm massage, and overall very little of the relaxing "spa" experience you usually expect during a facial.  The esthetician herself was kind and professional; please note that she did great. My issue is more with the overall service and value from the spa. But honestly, the experience felt very basic for the cost.

I consider doing memberships and other businesses that were a lower cost point, but I really enjoy the experience at face foundry and I think the cost is worth it. The aesthetician I've worked with the longest is Maddy and she always does an incredible job. I recently had a facial from Ellee as well, and it was great! I enjoyed the variety of services they offer and so far my favorites have been the hydra facial, the clean and natural and the Sculpt. With my membership I get a free add-on every month and I typically go for the enzyme mask which not only feels great but smells like chocolate. One of my favorite things about visiting face foundry is that they always offer a weighted blanket. I love to go at the end of the workday or the end of a long weekend when I'm exhausted and the weighted blanket helps me shake off any stress. So far, I'm very happy I joined this membership and added a little bit of 'treat myself' to every month. looking forward to my facial in September ! (:

I've been seeing Kyle since Aug/Sept of 2016. In two years she has completely transformed my skin!…read moreMy review is long so if you don't want to read it I'll summarize. Kyle is amazing. Fixing your skin is an investment. Be realistic about what you want and the results. You won't be disappointed. When I started I was having breakout after breakout. Which then resulted in dark spots all over my face from my hyperpigmentation. I went in thinking, if I can just get to the point where I have a couple of days without having a breakout I'll be happy. Kyle was up front about what she thought my results could be and how long it would take. Telling someone that they may not see results for three months or more, isn't ideal but she was honest. I appreciated the fact that she wasn't trying to tell me what I wanted to hear. It did take some trial and error. It was not an easy process. Kyle was realistic with me but I also knew it wasn't going to happen overnight. I'll be honest, it is an investment. But for me it was SO worth it. The packages are the best way to go. So here's my full story: We started with hydrofacials. I started to see my skin clearing up after about 3 treatments. I tried a chemical peel and didn't see any results from it. I continued to see improvement in my skin from the hydrofacials as we went on. After a year I decided to try the chemical peel again and my skin did not react well at all. Disclaimer, I knew full well that, that was a possibility. Just like when I had the first peel, Kyle went over everything. When you are putting chemicals on your skin you can't predict what will happen. This is a part of the story that isn't great but how Kyle handled it is why I continue to come. I had it done on a Friday and Kyle was going out of town but told me I could call the office on Saturday if I was having any problems. I did and no one picked up. I finally got someone on Monday and by then I was freaking out. I had some pretty harsh scab patches that were not something Kyle warned me about. They were able to get me in with someone else to have it looked at since Kyle was gone. I don't remember who I saw but I wasn't a fan. She acted like what was going on wasn't a big deal. She put me under the red light, gave me a cream, and asked that I come back later in the week. By then my skin was better and I would be seeing Kyle in two weeks so I waited. When I saw Kyle and told her what happened she first apologized for there not being a nurse on call. She also had no idea that I had a bad reaction because my file wasn't updated. She immediately said that wasn't okay, apologized, and would follow up with everyone to figure out what happened. I showed her the pictures (since they weren't in my file) and she said no more chemical peels. Fortunately my skin recovered from the peel and it didn't cause any permanent damage. After about a month Kyle mentioned BBL Laser. . By this point I wasn't having full face breakouts. But I was still getting little patches about once a week. Kyle said people who had used BBL were no longer having any breakouts. So I decided to give it a shot. This was the game changer for my skin. I did three treatments. After just the first treatment the tone and texture of my skin was better. Almost all of my dark hyperpigmentation was gone. And I had literally one spot on my face in two weeks. After all three treatments my skin was like it was when I was young. Neither of us expected the overall results to be as great as they are. It's been about four months since I did BBL. I get a spot every now and then but those are completely hormonal based. I honestly never thought my skin would look this good. I've had moments where I wasn't full committed and thought I was wasting my time. But I'm so glad I pushed through it. Even with the bump I had, I'd do it all again. I still continue to see Kyle but now on a more maintainance basis. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I got a facial wax (which was the best part, read on to find out why...) and triple peel facial. LACY knew what she was talking about. I would ask her about my home routine and products I currently use. She was honest in telling me ingredients to look out for and didn't make me feel like a cheap idiot for anything I was using. She didn't try to hype me on her stuff, either. As she performed each step of the facial, she would tell me what to expect every step of the way. ("This will tingle a little bit," and "now I'm going to extract," and "is this the right pressure?") She used the steamer and lots of warm, wet towels, each one seemed to strip away a layer of stress from my hectic life. The products had good scents, none of which were overwhelming. (I have a sensitive nose.) But the facial wax! Every other time I have gotten waxed, it has definitely been a teeth gritting affair. It can bring tears to your eyes, ripping the relaxation right out of an otherwise amazing appointment. But Lacy is QUICK and seriously PAINLESS! Never before have experienced a wince-less wax job. While others have felt like a series of shots or blood draws, this felt more like pulling off a band-aid. I love LACY at Susie Organic!
