Lauren, our waitress, was a tremendous help. Lauren was very nice and offered excellent service. The food really hit the spot. The onion rings were especially delicious. Being able to eat at their picnic area, overlooking the Pro Football Hall of Fame was great. I'm glad we were able to find this local spot. It's one of the newer additions to Hall of Fame village. Myself and 2 friends arrived at 8pm on a Friday night. They were pretty dead and already starting to clean, but the staff was nice. I ordered the Crunch Wrap as my entrée however it's not what I was expecting. It was more like a Cheesy Gordita Crunch than a Crunch Wrap. Still tasty, but a bit small and not what I was expecting. My friend ordered a cocktail which I tasted and it was refreshingly tasty. My friend and I both ordered the Ohio Buckeye dessert, it was quite delish! We agreed the ice cream included was too small though considering how rich the actual dessert was. The menu has a lot of either items so I think I would go back and try again. Cons: -Parking - if you don't get one of the roughly 10 spots out front, you will be parking in a lot uphill. -Hours - they close at 8pm on weekdays, 6pm Sundays, and 9pm on Fridays and Saturdays. This feels a bit early considering the area and type of spot it it.

So, off I went after my morning with William McKinley. First of all, I should tell you that I love places like this! I love little joints with a wide ranging menu, particularly with an old school diner counter! They straddle the line between "hole in the wall" and a "regular" stand alone restaurant (if that makes sense). The ambiance and feel is exactly a place I would frequent. Casual, homey, comforting. Service was wonderful. I was seated, waited on, checked on... In perfect intervals. I opted for the turkey and cheese sandwich, which came out surprisingly quickly. The sandwich itself was good, but nothing to "write home about". I was a tad disappointed in the fries...they could have been crisper, firmer, and salted. But that's the only negative thing I can say! Pricing is about right. Not a whole lot of places these days where you can eat like I did for around $20. If I'd stayed in Canton longer, I'd seriously consider going back. I can almost guarantee the food is consistently good, and I only went once...it's just that kinda vibe.
