Tables were cleared and reset before the guests left the building. Runners kept the food moving. One server just circulated refreshing coffee. And most importantly- the Boss (Ruby???) was everywhere. I saw her tracking the wait list. Sitting guests. Helping clear tables. In the kitchen. Behind the counter. Constantly moving through the front checking customers. This lady knew her business and I was impressed. Solid food. Very competitive prices. The only nit-picky thing I can say is that my potatoes were a tad undercooked- still a bit starchy. But not enough to actually send it back. Portions were great- I could not finish my plate. With coffee, eggs, meat and toast my bill was a bit over $11. I understand the lines of folks waiting to eat there. I'll be back soon!

There was a great live band, and we were impressed with the options of sitting outside under a portico, or in a bar area. They appear to have a very robust to go business as well. This was on Memorial Day and they had a special menu consisting of pork shoulder, baked beans, and coleslaw. I am not a fan of baked beans or coleslaw, but both of them were very, very good. for $12, you got two huge slices of pork shoulder and the two sides. I found it interesting that the meals were served in to go containers, but it was actually quite efficient because we obviously took some of it with us. Sauce was served with it and the man who had greeted us at the door came around to make sure we had everything we needed, including plenty of sauce. I failed to mention that we got two slices of bread with each meal. I would recommend this restaurant, even IF the food hadn't been this good because the atmosphere, live band, and excellent PR skills of the staff were very impressive. speaking of which, our server was a very pleasant young lady who made sure we had everything we needed. I was thinking her name was Stephanie, but my partner thinks it was Heather and Heather is the name on the receipt.

I got five chicken wings flats only and potato wedges, my husband got a barbecue burger and curly fries and my daughter got a side salad and 10 boneless wings. What I noticed first was how they charge you for every little thing like blue cheese celery which should come with chicken wings anyways. I could not believe how greasy and disgusting tasting the chicken wings were. I ordered all flats. I ordered five mind you. I got two drumsticks in there. Super super greasy turned my stomach I kept squeezing him with the napkin to get most of the grease out. My daughter loved her boneless wings and my husband said the hamburger was huge and he thought it was delicious.. We also had ordered mozzarella sticks that were delicious, deep-fried mushrooms, which were really good and my husband got onion feathers, but in my opinion, the dip had broken and it didn't look good at all, and I didn't think it tasted good either. I gave it two stars because the waitress was so good and the food came out really fast and hot. .

We walked in and there were a couple of families sitting and eating pizzas. The restaurant needs an update for sure. We looked at the menu for a minute and decided on the ham calzone and the steak calzone. We got small ones because we wanted dessert. The young man greeted us and helped us with sizing on the calzones. He also told us about the cinnamon sticks when my husband mentioned that he wanted dessert. We got our drinks, found a table, and waited for our calzones. They didn't take very long (about 7-8 minutes). First they brought our cinnamon sticks and frosting out on a pizza tray (which totally surprised us), then they brought out our calzones. The calzone was piping hot from the oven, so I had to grab plastic ware to be able to eat it. It was tasty - chock full of cheese, onions, peppers, and steak. The cinnamon sticks were good. Overall we enjoyed our food, and we hope that the atmosphere of the restaurant changes for the better.

Since this particular location is close to my apartment, I come here more than I should. The people that work there are always friendly and immediately say hi when you walk in the door. They are also very nice and patient (or appears to be) to people when they are not sure on what they want. The menu is very standard; burgers, fries, hot dogs, fountain drinks. That's really all you need. The portions are huge. A regular cheeseburger consists of 2 patties and the regular sized fries can easily two people. My favorite part of the menu is all the toppings they have are free. It easily allows people to be as adventurous as they want without worrying about adding more money to the bill. I'm not going to lie, it can be expensive. The regular sized burgers are around 9 dollars and the regular sized fries is around 4 dollars. Even though it is pricey, like I stated earlier, the portions is worth they money. Even though I'm bummed that I don't know the hype of In N Out or Shake Shack, Five Guys is a good substitute. As long as I'm a Kentucky Resident, I will keep going to Five Guys to get my burger fix.

When I called, the manager answered with, "Manager speaking," without even introducing himself. His attitude was dismissive from the start. When I explained the issues, his response was basically, "Well, we forgot what we forgot," I don't have an issue making it right well I would hope so we paid for it ." I understand mistakes happen, but that's not how you handle a customer who paid for food they didn't receive correctly. To make things even more frustrating, the person picking up our order was told to drive around since they were "bagging it up." After driving around, she ended up stuck in a long drive-thru line and had to wait another 10 minutes anyway. If the food was getting bagged up, why send her around just to wait even longer? This was during our lunch break, so because of all the delays and mistakes, we didn't even get to enjoy the meal we ordered. Since this location just opened, I hope they improve their customer service, communication, and order accuracy. Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing first impression.
