The Charley Wright Creek Walk is a scenic, easy trail in Medicine Park named in honor of Charley Wright, a local known for initiating the Medicine Park Polar Plunge over two decades ago. This 0.5-mile route follows Medicine Creek, offering a peaceful stroll, making it suitable for all ages and skill levels. The trail is part of the charming cobblestone town's appeal, located near Bath Lake, a historic spring-fed swimming hole built in the early 1900s. It's a great spot to enjoy the natural beauty of the Wichita Mountains, with cobblestone-lined paths, lush greenery, and views of the creek's waterfall over the dam. There is a swimming hole, damns, waterfalls, bridges and plenty of shaded areas to sit. Was fun watching the kids swim. Shoes are recommended and it's 3 bucks per person according to the sign but I didn't see anyone taking money. read more
