We didn't stay here super long as I started getting anxious about the long drive back home. It's a public park. Free parking. There was a playground. A decent sized lake. Walking/running path. I stopped here mainly because the Comanche National Museum and Cultural Center is just a few hundred yards away. Go touch grass! Your brain and heart will thank you.

WOW, if we could be any more disappointed, I'd be shocked. For small dogs you have to enter the large dog park FIRST and then go into the smaller one inside. No poop bag stations either- so clearly this was geared towards large dogs. Next- it was the most disgusting dog park- trash EVERYWHERE. Bottles with what looked like human pee in it? I tried to clean up the trash a bit before we let our pup play, but it just was not worth it and didn't want to risk her getting sick from something. I would suggest passing on this park if you are not a regular because clearly this is not maintained well.

It's beautiful! Above the short dam is swimming, no fishing. Below the dam is fishing, no swimming. We got you covered. Ninety years later, it's still wonderfu! The footbridge was rebuilt some years ago. There is a $3 charge to swim, and they have tubes and stuff for rent. It's hot! Let's go swimming!

Some are tiny and others quite large, however each is a place set aside for the community. Gray Warr is actually a decent sized area. The boot camp I attend is occasionally held here. There are some run down softball fields, tennis courts and a small playground. The grounds are maintained and it serves its purpose as a safe recreation area for individuals, children or families. It's a pretty hairy drive going up and down so don't try and sight see while you are driving. It's part of the Wichita Mountain() range with an elevation of 2464 ft above sea level. It's named after Gen Winfield Scott and has an awesome viewing area photo op spots at the top.
