This place is no longer open, they've permanently closed and are now Rodeo 4's. Both aren't great, and make sure you go as a group ladies -- notorious place to get drinks spiked. read more

Horrible. Kicked out my friend because she washed her hands. 10/10 would NOT recommend. And the music sucks.

Waited all night to play footloose . They did not. As Soon as I left I was told they played footloose.

Went here on Saturday night and the DJ was asked to leave during a Selena song. We were chatting with the officer there and asked why they made him leave, they said that they are trying to rebrand to "country exclusive music" and that the DJ was playing too much Tejano music so the owner/manager asked them to tell him to leave after one too many. They proceeded to play some country along with some pop and even played Gangnam Style... Seems the owner just didn't want Tejano music played, even though the floor was packed during those songs! Along with this there were maybe 4 or 5 people escorted out for being too drunk or disorderly. The bartenders were all super pleasant but overall not somewhere I'll be going back to. read more

Not a country bar anymore. Liked it a lot better when it was Charley Bs. So sad. Now it's all sorority and frat tan with wet tshirt contests and not country music. read more

Wednesday night tejano, I thought was a real treat since our tejano bars have pretty much closed up because of the Covid 29 situation . Charley B's Tejano night was such a let down since they didn't really play any tejano. I think it's almost false advertising when you get people to go in you bar under false pretense. The played a lot of Mexican, and tropical music, not what tejano fans like to hear or dance to. read more

The DJ here is terrible. First of all, this is supposed to be a place to listen to country but he only plays it 25% of the time at best. Also he plays the same songs every single week. I am no mathematician, but I bet it would be more cost effective to fire this guy just use a Spotify playlist then to pay him to do nothing but pressure drunk freshman girls to enter into their wet T-shirt contest. Either way we would get the same music week after week. read more

First time to Rodeo 4. My friend came into town and wanted a place to dance. First off, they definitely lack security. Their bartender with an Australian accent didn't know how to make a cucumber or a paleta shot, didn't even bother to ask how to make it or anything. The girl who goes around with shooters didn't come and kept skipping our table, which was clearly obvious. Didn't know it was a children's bar, 18+. I do have to admit they have a great dance floor and good music. Also, The table next to us was dealing coke, very noticeable. I would rather spend my money else where. Terrible service. read more

Bar understaffed and bartenders rude. Don't expect to get a drink quickly or even asked if you want to buy another drink. They look the other way. Expect to be asked to pay for water. Yep. I wouldn't spend any more time here. read more

This is a horrible place. I have been kicked out twice for no reason. The first time I let it slide but this time I hadn't had one drink they took my money and then told me I was too drunk to get in and wouldn't refund my money. The managers just cuss you out whenever there is a problem, the bouncers are jerks, and the security or sheriff people are no help. I want to like this place because there aren't any others with live concerts around but they treat you like crap! read more

Saw Roger Creager the other night with a large group of friends - he and his band were amazing! We are old and loved the seating, easy bar access, space to dance without bumping everybody, and that there is NO SMOKE. The DJ did a great job, and once that first couple went out on the floor everyone joined in...teens, parents, and grandparents. There was not a crowd so if you're out to "meet new people" maybe this isn't the place. But if you are going to dance and sing along from the edge of the stage with an artist you love, this is your spot. I got water free from the bartender without issue and staff were numerous and easy to find. read more

Charley B's is a good time. If a big enough name (to Lubbock) comes it can be a mad house. Think smaller version of billy bob's. Thursday night is college night, they don't play a lot of country music. Typically more than reasonably priced. 18+ read more

If I could leave no stars I would. This is the WORST bar I have ever been to. Ever since it turned to Rodeo 4 I feel that it has gone down hill far and fast. We showed up around 10:30 and me and one of my friends order 1 Malibu and coke drink each. This was for one of my friends bachelorette party, we started drinking at around 10pm. We got an Uber to take us to the bar, mind you this was our first stop. We went back up to the bar again about 30 min latter to order another drink and they had cut off the bride of the party. We asked why they did this and they said the manager had cut her off. We asked if we could speak to the manager, and they said we have to find him to talk to him. We spent an hour looking for the manager and he was no where in sight. The lack of security is ridiculous! I then went to get a drink and they had cut off my tab because the bride was on my tab! I closed my tab and it was for a total of $3.50! So for the new management you suck and you should try to do better! You also ruined a very special night for the bride because you cut her off! If you are going to cut someone off then you should come explain why.... Absolutely terrible I recommend anywhere else! I am happy to say me and the bridal party will NOT be back! I also want to add that our Uber on the way home said he has heard nothing but sorry things come from this place since it has turned Rodeo 4! Charlie B please come back! read more

Ok for 1, the DJ is actually the worst. He adds weird beeps, Bird chirps? And overlaps songs. Not to mention that he TALKS OVER EVERY SINGLE SONG. And they won't even give water in cups anymore, $1.50 for water. No thanks. Crap DJ, no water? Won't be back. read more

I came here with 4-5 other friends on a Friday night. There was no big concert, the place was very empty...Maybe 30 people in this extremely large venue. But my friends and I tried to make the best of it. I will start off with what was so awful about this place. 1. The bartenders: My friend and I were ordering drinks at the bar. I was on the chair, on my knees because I needed to lean over to speak to the bartender so she could hear me because the music was loud (that is not a complaint, music volume was like any other bar). The other bartender walked over (she has long brown hair, was wearing a white tank top, jean shorts, and a pink hat) and shouted in front of everyone at the bar, "I just want to let you know your ass is hanging out and everyone behind you can see it." She said this with unnecessary attitude and in front of everyone else. 1) I had white biker shorts on underneath my dress b/c I worry about anything being exposed. Thus, my butt was not actually hanging out and nobody could see it. If they saw anything, it was my biker shorts. 2) Even if I did not have any shorts on underneath, the way she handled it was very poor. She embarrassed me in front of the people around me. I felt degraded and quickly sat down in the chair, worried that people might have thought my shorts were underwear. I sat there for at least 5-10 more minutes embarrassed to get up. I asked the other bartender how in the world did the bartender know that... she shrugged and walked over to the rude bartender and said something to her. I hoped that the rude bartender would come back around so that I could tell her that she was rude and embarrassed me but she avoided coming over to the side of the bar that I was at, even when customers were standing next to me, waiting to be served. If she was actually trying to be nice and help me, she would have came over to ME and not just 15 feet away, and whispered to me that I should tug on my dress so that nobody happens to see any exposure. However, from my story, you can see she made sure to do it in the rudest way possible. The other female bartender that was working that night was talking to my friend that I was sitting at the bar with. My friend was chatting with her and being very friendly. The bartender was led to believe that my friend was hitting on her and then mentioned that her girlfriend was at the other end of the bar and did not appreciate my friend talking to her. That is the easiest way to lose customers, Charlie B's. 2. The DJ: My friends and I are all from different states in the country. Therefore, we listen to other music, not just country. We understood we were in a country bar and we did dance to most of the country music being played by the DJ, but we wanted to request songs that we all like too, and that we were certain others would like. He played 3-4 songs for us that we enjoyed. We pulled people onto the dance floor and got a good amount of people dancing to these "non-country" songs. The band went back on stage and the DJ took a break. He came over to us and promised us that if we stay until he gets back on at 12:30AM, he would play more of the songs we requested. He also tried hitting on us and asked us if we have boyfriends. Literally, every single one of us do, so when we told him, he proceeded to say "What happens in Texas, stays in Texas" ...NO MAN. We stayed until 2:00AM closing time, and he did not play 1 single song we requested. We waited almost 2 hours to be lied to and hit on. THE ONLY GOOD THING ABOUT CHARLIE B'S this night: The food truck. Food was phenomenal, the service was phenomenal. We did our best to make the best of the night, and we were let down. We are all new in town and have taken Charlie B's off of our list of places to go. Will not return. read more

Love to dance? This is the place to be!! Dj's and live music on some nights! Drinks are always nice priced and everyone is Always so friendly and helpful! love how the DJ's play many different kinds of music and keep the crowd happy! read more

We came for a concert and the bar was understaffed. We went to get a drink and the bartender was busy taking shots and clearly drunk. When we asked why he was so slow he stated we could go to the other bar if we wanted a drink, needless to say we will never come back. read more

Terrible customer service called to inquire about buying tickets at location rude girl just said "you can go online" however you get charged a 2.00 per ticket plus a 5.00 convenience fee so to purchase 8 tickets for friends and fam I'm shelling out an additional 21.00?!? When I asked about this she says "thats the only way to do it" and hangs up!!!! You can keep your smoke free catch I'm fine just taking my crew across town to Wild West. read more

It's big. It's nice that it's non-smoking inside but it has it's downside as well. If you start a tab at one of the 3 bars, go back to that same bar because they aren't all connected. Each bar has its specialties. It is a nice venue to hear bands play but it's expensive to see them play. I'd say go if there is a band playing you want to hear, otherwise I'd say check out other bars for entertainment and fun. read more

So Thursday the 18th, my wife and I thought we would go see the new Rodeo 4. We arrived at 10 minutes after 7pm, when they were suppose to open. There were about 6 people standing in line inside waiting to get in. I asked what was going on and why we were standing in line. They said they were told by staff to wait a few minutes until they were ready to open. After standing in line another 10 minutes I finally asked when we could go in and sit down. Again they said it would be just a few more minutes before they were ready to open. We waited a few more minutes and finally decided if they could not prepare to open on time, it was probably not worth waiting for. To leave the customers standing in line because they were unprepared is unprofessional and shows what the new management cares about their customers. Not once did anyone come to the front to say anything to us. We had to track them down. We left and went to Chances R, where we did not have to stand in line and were treated professionally by the staff. This club has a long way to go to learn how to treat customers. They just flat do not care. I am sure it will reflect on the business and don't look for this club to make it in the long run. read more

So happy this place is non smoking. It made the experience much more enjoyable. I had a margarita and its was $6.75, which I didn't think was worth it. It tasted just like gross bottled margarita mix. The bartenders are very friendly and never seemed annoyed about giving out water. The place is way bigger than I expected with a big dance floor. I really enjoyed coming to see a concert here and would come again to see band I like. read more

Terrible service. My 23 year old friend got kicked out when he was about to ask the bouncer to dance with our friend. He waited 30 minutes to get a drink at the bar. read more

Horrible service! Horrible bartenders! They serve who they want, when they want. I will never go back to this establishment!

Great place for live music and dancing! Saw Randall King he is awesome! If you get the chance to see him do it! Anyway place is very clean restrooms are huge and bright!! Like daylight bright and clean as well. Constantly saw Management walking the room picking up trash and making sure everyone was safe. This is our first visit here in town to visit our kid at Tech. We will go back next time although it was a long drive to get there. We had a ball stayed till closing time, drank and sang and really enjoyed the place. It's great it's smoke free I was so happy I didn't leave smelling like an ash tray!! Only thing was we had to go the bar for drinks. They had shot girls with sweet shots which I'm not in to. Would have sold us more drinks if a waitress had come around and asked. Parking lot is huge so no worries about that. Anyway, again great place for live music!! read more

This place had the potential to be fun but everyone was generally rude. The bartenders took forever to get to you and looked past you. They charge you $2 for tap water...which is illegal...even the people dancing were rude they told my friends and I that we were ruining the bar...overall unimpressed there are many better places. read more

Came with friends a few weekends ago - I didn't know this place existed! We had a great time. Callyn was our server and was a great sport putting up with us. Drinks were a decent price, the dance floor was a nice size, and the service was pretty good. They had a lot of bars set up, so it looks like it would be alright when it gets busy, too. The music selection was pretty good, great country to dance to early on, and as midnight neared the music turned a little more club-ish while still in the realm of country. Still danceable! We left around then. The crowd was good, a variety of ages and nothing sketchy. It is AWESOME that it is smoke free! Looking forward to coming back. read more

fun but they only play hispanic songs 3/4 of the time waste of your time!!!! :/ saturday nights are for a bust
