Cricket's might be one of the scummiest bars I've ever seen. If you're lucky, one of the bouncers might let you in through the fake line if you slip them a cheap $100 bill. Seriously though, the line is just for show. If you truly want to go in, either go day drinking there or pay the $25 cover for the other line. Make sure you don't talk too much in the line either, because Officer Jody Barnes will boot you out of line if you sigh too loudly. This happened to two guys in line.
