If you are ambulatory and can get to another ER in the area, do that…read more I not only had what I believe was a misdiagnosis that resulted in several more weeks of pain and discomfort, when I complained to the hospital about it, they essentially circled the wagons and said the care was "appropriate" and glossed over the results I got from the follow-up care I got in Gaylord. Based on THAT care, I am being referred down to a specialist at U of M due to some troubling pathology which Charlevoix hospital wrote off as "you'll be fine...take some Tylenol". Too bad--I had an excellent experience the year before but it's always the last one that'll leave the bad taste in your mouth. Unless I'm transported in an ambulance, I'll not be back here. Thanks for the response, Charlevoix Hospital. Classy move telling the patient their horrendous experience is not your fault.

I was in and out within 45 minutes and felt fully taken care of. Sure, it felt like a walk-in but it wasn't ghetto or anything. The waiting room is fairly big so you're not all crammed together and the nurses are very nice and patient. Plus, they took my insurance. Save yourself the trouble of the Munson Walk-in (I don't mind any of their other facilities, but their urgent care just plain sucks) and go to The Walk In instead.

She was overdue for a tetanus shot so she thought it best to go to an urgent care to get one. She doesn't do great with shots so I offered to run up there with her and off we went. It was just before close on a Sunday but they were very accommodating. There was a fairly long intake one must conduct over the phone (they recommend calling before coming in but we didn't know that) before they can take you back. They called her within minutes of finishing that and she met with a really awesome doc who checked her over and recommended a quick xray to make sure there wasn't a break since there was some soreness in the joint. A few minutes later she took a quick look at the x-ray and was fairly confident there wasn't a break. A very thoughtful nurse then administered the shot and took great care to make her comfortable (since she has a history of fainting), laying her down on the bed, giving her a cold compress, etc. No fainting and we were in and out in a little over a half hour! You hope you never need an urgent care on vacation but I'm glad we know this is a reliable spot should the need arise again.

It is apparent that Munson has expanded too far too fast and does not have enough equipment for the local needs.Wait time for an MRI even if semi urgent is at least 7-10 days.

Registration was easy over the phone upon arrival. Phone number is on a sign out front. It's located in a medical center. Can't speak for anything other than urgent care and pharmacy, but they were outstanding. Registration was 5 mins over the phone from the car. Triage RN was professional, efficient and friendly. We saw a PA by the name of M. Hays. He was excellent, very competent and good bedside manner. Pharmacy was quick, friendly and professional. Highly recommend this place. When you go to a doctor (this is for the foster family primary care in the building) for answers to…read morea problem and they do test but takes 2 weeks to get any results then no real answer and have to contact them for what the results are and it takes 4 weeks for a call back and they are impatient on the phone like you are a burden this is a problem. Young adult who is having issues with back and still no real answers not a call from doctor at all just nurse assistant who doesn't seem to care and should not be in a job that you should be patient and caring who just short answers and not real answers to the question you have. I would highly not recommend them.

( wrong again BTW) Drove 3 hours home, visited another urgent care for an xray.... And guess what? Probable Bilateral lower lobe pneumonia/bronchitis. But hey... you've got free slushies, pac man, coffee and ozempic on tap so that offsets having a competent practitioner, right?

I was at my wit's end trying to get a breast reduction surgery while at a BMI of 39. I had been trying to lose that last stubborn 20 pounds for years but just couldn't get the weight off. I was rejected for Semaglutide by my insurance company because I am not diabetic, so I decided to buy it out of pocket. Kimberly has been with me every step of the way, checking in with me as I titrated on the medication and making sure I came in for the B-vitamin infusions that came with my Semaglutide package. I am now 30 pounds down with a BMI of 31.5 and eagerly awaiting my breast reduction consultation! At one of my appointments, I mentioned that I had been thinking about getting a Botox lip flip and that I suffer from tension headaches. Ali mentioned that Botox can help with tension headaches, which was all I needed to hear - I was back in a week later to plump my pout and immobilize my 11's. I have had wonderful results, both aesthetically and tension headache-wise, and I have zero regrets. During the Botox conversation, I also mentioned that I really disliked the dark wells under my eyes and the asymmetry of my facial features. These can't really be addressed with Botox, but could be with filler. I decided to go ahead with the filler, and I am thrilled that I did. I look natural - no filler mustache or overblown Kardashian cheekbones - just younger, brighter and less tired.
