Based on THAT care, I am being referred down to a specialist at U of M due to some troubling pathology which Charlevoix hospital wrote off as "you'll be fine...take some Tylenol". Too bad--I had an excellent experience the year before but it's always the last one that'll leave the bad taste in your mouth. Unless I'm transported in an ambulance, I'll not be back here. I was at my wit's end trying to get a breast reduction surgery while at a BMI of 39. I had been trying to lose that last stubborn 20 pounds for years but just couldn't get the weight off. I was rejected for Semaglutide by my insurance company because I am not diabetic, so I decided to buy it out of pocket. Kimberly has been with me every step of the way, checking in with me as I titrated on the medication and making sure I came in for the B-vitamin infusions that came with my Semaglutide package. I am now 30 pounds down with a BMI of 31.5 and eagerly awaiting my breast reduction consultation! At one of my appointments, I mentioned that I had been thinking about getting a Botox lip flip and that I suffer from tension headaches. Ali mentioned that Botox can help with tension headaches, which was all I needed to hear - I was back in a week later to plump my pout and immobilize my 11's.
