Spent a few nights in the Maternity ward after my wife delivered our first child. All of the staff…read morewe interacted with were very professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. Our nurse through L&D, Ashley, was amazing in particular! The facility could definitely use an update. If you're planning on delivering at Munson, I would recommend bringing several layers of clothes with you as all of the rooms are very drafty, particularly next to the windows.

We took my 3 month old twins in the ER last night due to respiratory issues and concern about how…read morethey were behaving. They were born premature so the nurse hot line recommended they were checked out that night. We were put in rooms (they separated each baby) at 11:30. By 1am we had no one come speak with us. Not even a nurse check in. I called to see if we were going to be checked on and to let them know my other infant who was separated from me needed to eat. The nurse told me the doctor would see us in apx. 20 minutes and then came back 30 minutes later and said we were going to be seen next. Then she never came back and we had to buzz again around 4 o'clock to ask once again when a doctor was going to come in or if they were concerned, even to check our babies temperature which was high when we first came in. After we asked for the second time, we didn't see someone again for 30+ minutes. I understand they were short staffed and clearly very busy. It was just an awful feeling sitting there, knowing that my kids were not doing well and no one was checking. I also was hearing staff members outside the door, talk poorly about patients, paramedics And talking about going to the bar after work. It just doesn't seem very professional there to me. When the doctor came in, he was helpful. It was very clear that he may have been one of the only doctors in the whole emergency room that evening. This seems very unsafe and in situations like that, they should notify patients on what is happening. When they are unsure of how severe my baby sickness was they should let us know how backed up they are in case we decide to go to a different hospital to get seen sooner. I'm assuming there was a shift chain while we were there. The new nurse Grace who took over had came in and checked in on us several times and was very loving and helpful. She is an absolute rockstar and made up for the awful several hours before hand. Munson we need to do better at helping your staff. It's truly unfair to your staff and your community what you're doing.

Registration was easy over the phone upon arrival. Phone number is on a sign out front. It's located in a medical center. Can't speak for anything other than urgent care and pharmacy, but they were outstanding. Registration was 5 mins over the phone from the car. Triage RN was professional, efficient and friendly. We saw a PA by the name of M. Hays. He was excellent, very competent and good bedside manner. Pharmacy was quick, friendly and professional. Highly recommend this place. Urgent care hours are longer than claimed under this title. See Munson Urgent Care for proper posting of hours of operation.

I would highly not recommend them.
