Registration was easy over the phone upon arrival. Phone number is on a sign out front. It's located in a medical center. Can't speak for anything other than urgent care and pharmacy, but they were outstanding. Registration was 5 mins over the phone from the car. Triage RN was professional, efficient and friendly. We saw a PA by the name of M. Hays. He was excellent, very competent and good bedside manner. Pharmacy was quick, friendly and professional. Highly recommend this place. Young adult who is having issues with back and still no real answers not a call from doctor at all just nurse assistant who doesn't seem to care and should not be in a job that you should be patient and caring who just short answers and not real answers to the question you have. ( wrong again BTW) Drove 3 hours home, visited another urgent care for an xray.... And guess what? Probable Bilateral lower lobe pneumonia/bronchitis. But hey... you've got free slushies, pac man, coffee and ozempic on tap so that offsets having a competent practitioner, right?

The manager walks them through what they need, emails a test order in and should be good to go. After a few weeks I don't hear anything and my employer has not gotten any results. Upon calling Wellnow I find out the sent my test results and info to the wrong place (HIPAA violation) Not only did they send it to the wrong place, they had ordered the wrong test so I couldn't just get the results and send them to my employer. I was told I could come in and get the test redone. No thanks, I'll go somewhere competent.

While I believe they could use a nurse practitioner to support with writing scripts for the urgent care folk, the service I got was professional, thorough and friendly. My understanding is that this is the only walk in urgent care in the area. I appreciate the hospital for continuing to offer this important service. One tip, make sure to ask for approximate wait time to set your expectations from the get go with the understanding that if some more serious case come to the ER, it might take longer than expected. Please be nice to staff they are doing such important work.

The doctor ordered them before the MA was finished with My intake. Fast results, she called in paxlovid with no fuss, at my request, and my script was ready and waiting at Walgreens before I arrived at the store. Check in was speedy and welcoming friendly, as I'm already with a Munson Health provider for my doctor, so they knew all of my information without me having to try and remember while I'm sick. Medical Assistant was extra kind and helpful. The doctor was excellent and I received my online results of my tests before the doctor came in. Fast, dependable, and skilled. Based on THAT care, I am being referred down to a specialist at U of M due to some troubling pathology which Charlevoix hospital wrote off as "you'll be fine...take some Tylenol". Too bad--I had an excellent experience the year before but it's always the last one that'll leave the bad taste in your mouth. Unless I'm transported in an ambulance, I'll not be back here. Thanks for the response, Charlevoix Hospital. Classy move telling the patient their horrendous experience is not your fault.

After 1 hour I was swabbed I also asked for a blood draw antibodies test at the time I made my appointment, They agreed to do that. It's now 10am the most unprofessional white coat lady came in after I asked to see if it would be much longer. She preceded to tell me that I was a walk-in patient -I told her I've been there many times before -they diagnosed my first time I had Covid in January, treated me in April and I scheduled my appointment for today! She was rude and was writing on my chart that I was not a patient of hers because I refused to schedule a well visit after waiting 1:45 and still hadn't had my blood drawn, she proceeded to tell me awful things about how I would not be recognized as a patient there and she was rude and inconsiderate-I walked out and told her I will never be back not to worry! If you have a chance to take your medical issues elsewhere I highly recommend you do that! It's that or wait for over 2 hours and be treated with no consideration for your health or well being-you're just a number there! They even called me "#4 is waiting" never did they introduce themselves or call me by my name! Good Luck if you choose to go there!

Labor & Delivery For such a special event in peoples…read morelives... we had a scheduled induction at 40 weeks. I ( grandparent) drove in from Florida, another set of grandparents drove in from Indiana... the father of the baby was released from police academy (just for birth, then he was to return to academy). Munson advised us of a cancellation time which was not followed by them. They called as we were preparing to leave for the hospital. First they said they had no beds.... then in same phone conversation it turned into not enough staff. Nurse on phone said she would call right back after talking to manager/charge nurse.... Waited, waited, waited... meanwhile they are calling dads phone, leaving a message to call back, but leaving an incorrect call back number. Nikki the charge nurse/manager gave some excuse, contradicting stories and said they will call in the morning to reschedule ... which they did, but canceling again. Said to call back at 10am, which we did and they canceled again. No regard as to father missing two days of training and his only maternity leave at this point... family in from all over. Then they called and asked us to reschedule with a side note of canceling again. Finally get a medically necessary induction date for 11 days post due date (10/13). Daughters water breaks on the 10th. Get to hospital and it is confirmed. Started pitocin at 9pm. A bald male anesthesiologist came in to do an epidural and was SO NASTY even the nurse was shocked at his behavior, not to mention he was rude to my daughter and hurt her. Needless to say epidural had no effect until a female anesthesiologist came in and asked my daughter to reposition and she gave her some medication and it worked. Daughter goes into active labor at about 4am.... She is ready to push by 8am, doctor goes and does a C-section and missed my daughters delivery. Nurse delivers the baby with cord wrapped around baby's neck and lays it on daughters stomach not even looking at cord tightly around neck. Dr. comes in and grabs baby and gets cord unwrapped from neck.... Now waiting for placenta to be delivered. Placenta out and my daughter start's hemorrhaging horribly . Dr spends the next hour and a half stitching my daughters 3 degree tears while losing over 2 liters of blood. So now she needs a transfusion, medication for the blood pressure, Pitocin for the bleeding and doesn't get any contact with baby. My daughter was so sweet and thankful.... Never lost her composure and from then on ALMOST all the labor & delivery staff was cold & distant. They made this first time experience AWFUL! The hospital staff in L&D (EXCEPT 4 nurses, one of who's last day working at this facility was on following Wednesday, were great) the male anesthesiologist that night were ABSOLUTELY AWFUL. Unfortunately the only hospital in the area... so they don't have to care. Our experience with first delivery AWFUL! Don't think my daughter will return to this hospital.
