When there are options for treatments he completely explains them. As an example, he recently recommended me to an endodontist for a probably root canal. He then took the time to explain the entire procedure and by the end of it I understood what all was going to take place and had no fear. I have "problem teeth", and as such require more attention than most patients. He and my periodontist flawlessly work together. The entire staff in his office is good and I like all of them. If one needs an emergency appointment, Donna will work hard to get that person seen. Dr Matt recently placed a temporary crown on a tooth and told me that if it came out I was to call him even if it was on a weekend. Now he says she is infected and needs another surgery to get the infection out. It has been a few years now and my baby still has lump in her cheek, says she doesn't feel right in her cheek and is permanently puffy on that side of her face.

Yesterday, I went in to see if my…read moreinsurance covered a traditional cleaning and the receptionist took my card and then ran it through a desktop device and stated it was covered "100%. I said great and made an appointment for a cleaning the next day. I came in at the appointed time and filled out the normal information. They did not ask for a credit card which confirmed to me that the insurance coverage was confirmed again by them. The dental hygenist did an admirable and professional job. As I was leaving the receptionist declared that there would be an $80 charge. I said, no I was told my cleaning was covered by insurance as I was told yesterday. The receptionist seemed uncomfortable and too quickly said let me get the office manager. I retold my story and the office manager said well this was a different cleaning. I replied I sat in the chair for 45 minutes and no one came in to say, oh, by the way, you need a more extensive cleaning and that will be $80 in addition to the "insurance". Do you agree to this upcharge? That simply did not happen. They concluded this guy is elderly so we will intimidate him. I was never given the option to decline, ask what was different between cleaning A, B, or other, etc. it was a classic bait and switch. I am not so easily kowtowed and defrauded. I stated I will not pay for something I did not agree to or was even advised of the possibility of an additional charge. The office manager said she would send my account to collection. Fine, this is a malicious, false, and, at a minimum a contested matter. If a collection agency is not properly advised that the account was immediately contested under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, we enter new grounds for a court to consider. BBB, State Dental licensing complaint, the number of contact points are numerous when you try to defraud and intimidate the elderly.
