I finally manned up and made an appointment, and the experience was nothing short of amazing. First off, the atmosphere is so laid back yet professional. Office staff and hygienists are super friendly and knowledgeable. I came in early for a cleaning 1.5 hours ahead of my appointment, they found time to fit me in. Conversation is probably the best I've ever had at a medical office before. From all of my past experiences, I've associated medical professionals as very straightforward and... well...a bit socially awkward. These guys bring not only the dental, but the social skills as well. For real, I'm looking forward to my 6 month checkup, can't wait to hang out with these guys again. I'm so lonely.

Don't know if that had anything to do with it but my head was hurting so bad afterwards and felt dizzy. My blood pressure also came up as low which always comes out normal? They then informed me because I had gone to another dentist within the past month that visit wouldn't be covered by my insurance.. He grinded my back teeth down and said my teeth would shift. Grinding was one reason. The plate in the front 2 teeth started to crack. The did fix it but he grinded my bottom teeth more. In February 2 side teeth came out. So another $500.00 and they glued the two teeth in. Not even a month later and one tooth fell out. I didn't have another $500.00 so I lived with it. Now, not even a year later and the 2nd tooth that was glued in fell out. This is my 4th plate. My previous one lasted around 5 years. I will never go back or use the lab that was used is Helms Lab.

Dr. Butler and his team are amazing! They were gentle, explained everything they were doing and restored my faith that I could find a great dentist and have a cleaning without pain. When I first started seeing Dr. Kumar, his practice was brand new. Back then, he was very "hands on" with the cleanings, dental procedures and answering the phones. I thoroughly enjoyed my experiences with him. Where I failed to see things (from his point of view) was the fact that his practice was growing. He needed and hired help. Me being young, impatient, selfish or entitled at the time, I grew frustrated that Dr. Kumar was not available for my cleanings. I was also disappointed that my "last minute request for an immediate appointment" couldn't happen. Simply put, I wasn't fair in the previous review that I wrote. Now that I'm older, I understand/ respect business and patient care... so let me be more clear and honest in my review.... Dr. Kumar is a patient person (pun intended). Dr. Kumar is good person. Very recently, I had a dental scare and had no one to talk to about my situation. Dr. Kumar made time outside of normal office hours to meet with me and help me through my problem. He answered all my questions. He wasn't even my dentist at this time! That speaks volumes to the person I've always known him to be... a person of integrity and love for people. He remembered all of my past health issues and our conversation was as if I was his patient yesterday. That speaks to who he is. I miss this. I regret leaving his office a few years ago (for what were unrealistic expectations on my part). Dr. Kumar is only one person but has a team of great people around him. Trust me when I say that your time with him is "your time" and it's special. I highly recommend his office to you and I plan to switch back.

I called and checked on 3 other dental offices before choosing this one. My husband and I have horror stories about other dental offices that acted like a car dealership than a medical office. Dr. Dhawan is more involved with her patients than any other dentist I've seen, and she works with you to in terms of insurance and pacing your care that works best for you without compromising your health. I love that she can do everything from cleaning to root canals/implants in one office, and she doesn't gouge her patients. It's so nice to have a doctor that treats you like a person and not a cash cow.

I had multiple fillings that needed to be fixed. She is so sweet and made the fillings sound like they were no big deal. I get embarrassed by my teeth and smile but they really are all so positive in this office.
