My daughter has seen Dr Khairullah or "Dr. K" three times and really liked her. Dr K is very caring and knows how to talk with and listen to a teenager! While she was on vacation, we had good follow-up calls with Dr Rivera about lab results. I have also had a positive interaction with the third pediatrician, Dr Wollaston, who is warm and caring too. And the new nurse Molly, who is so knowledgeable and caring as well. Finally, I want to give a huge shout out to Lisa, who helps to answer phones. She is such an asset to the practice because she listens to the parents calling in about questions or issues, writes down detailed messages (and repeats back to ensure accuracy), and problem solves while reassuring that the parent will receive a call back from the provider or a nurse. Depending on the urgency, I have received a call back within 1 to 3 hrs. Everyone in the practice takes pride in working there and taking care of their patients with a positive attitude, from the ladies who answer the phones to the Medical Assistants or RNs who check the vitals, to all three of the pediatricians.

Just an FYI, Dr. Lam's office is located inside a massive medical plaza. Prepandemic, the parking lot would always be full and you would have to constantly circle the lot for a parking spot. The parking spots are decent. Not too big or too small. Staff: I loved coming here as a child. Dr. Lam was my pediatrician for 18 years. Now, I take my neighbor's children to see him because he is the best. He is very kind, patient, dedicated, passionate, loving, friendly, funny, knowledgeable, and compassionate. He has like over 40+ years of experience. He could retire because he is well over 65 years old, but he chose not to because he loves his job. Now that's dedication. Anyways, I would trust him with my future kids life. His receptionist, Angela, has been working there for more than 20+ years. She is kind, friendly, and laidback. What's even worse, my child needed two vaccine shots, and instead of administering them properly, the doctor held two syringes in one hand and injected both at the same time into the same arm. My child was crying uncontrollably--it was heartbreaking. I'm not sure if this violates medical guidelines, but I don't believe this is how a pediatrician should treat a young patient. For example if you have an emergency and can't make it to your appointment, and you are running out of meds, they will not even write a short refills so that you can be covered until your next appointment. They would rather you fall off the wagon with all of your medications. Even if the doctor cancels on you because they are out sick, no one in the clinic will write you a refill until the doctor can see you again, even though it is not your fault. So if you need a clinic to be more flexible to your needs then seek care elsewhere.
