Dr Cheng is amazing, knowledgeable, kind and caring. My son had been under his care from birth but my health insurance was no longer accepted and so he is now with a different pediatrician. We miss Dr. Cheng! His staff is great too! I love how his office has two waiting rooms, one for those who don't feel well and another for those who do. Cary is fine, but optum and the office he works at has issues with staffing. Hard to get through the phone and also if you are late 10 minutes, they will reschedule you and turn you away. I have an infant and being late is unavoidable. We unfortunately will have to find another pediatric office with less issues. read more

Dr. Cheng is a great provider, I have been taking my son since he was 3 months old. The provider always addresses all of my questions and concerns, providing great comfort for me regarding my son during the first years of my son's development. If your child has a medical emergency on the weekends or after hours, consider yourself out of luck. On call is a general Optum call center that does nothing but make appointments FOR ADULTS or recommend you go to urgent care, only after waiting 2 hrs to speak with someone. I should have known this office was a joke when I called and they didn't have a direct number. This office is utterly shameful and all about the money! Find a pediatrician that isn't just about meeting quotas and, most importantly, isn't affiliated with Optum. They are simply the most incompetent medical group I have ever have the displeasure of dealing with! read more

I had a previous pediatrician who never had appointments, couldn't fit us in when there was an emergency, and had a rude billing department. Luckily, a parent I met recommended Dr. Cheng. I have been going there with my now 10 year old for almost 2 years and I can't recommend him highly enough. He is friendly, smart, and caring. He takes the time to really explain any problems and seems to care about his patients as much as their parents do. He will fit you in if you have a health scare. And, he doesn't rush you. Healthcare partners is truly lucky to have an amazing dr like dr Cheng! He really is amazing! He is thorough when my kids are sick, answers all my questions and concerns, and most importantly my kids don't mind going to the dr. He is also detailed when my kids have their yearly exam making sure my kids are up to date on their immunizations and are on target for everything. The wait time is less than 10 minutes if that. I love the fact that there are two joining offices one for well kids and one for sick kids. It's crucial for me to find the very best for my kids because my son has epilepsy and dr.cheng is super knowledgeable in his condition and is conscientious when he prescribes anything to my son. He also works with my sons neurologist and I am so grateful for that. He personally calls me to go over any bloodwork my son needs on a regular basis, which is goes to show you how much he loves what he does.
