We setup primary care with this pediatrician before my child was delivered. She was supposed to come after she was born and she was late, the nurses also talked about how late she was. On the day of discharge she was late again, again the nurses mentioned how routinely late she is. This was our first time meeting Dr Mylinh Trinh and it was a terrible first impression. Both my boys are established patients here at Dr. Trinhs office. She's the only doctor here but she also has student physicians training here every now and then. Her staff is very helpful and very on point! Referrals are always submitted in a timely manner and when I have any issues or emergent questions they are very quick to get back to me and even gave me a personal number to send pictures of rashes and medicine I used for the kids. Worst experience ever with this dr. Office. The receptionist cannot get there work done and always blaming the customer faults. Always try to make the customer paid 25$ for a quick service of paperwork. If you don't paid the 25$ they will make you wait for 2-3 week for the paper work. Everytime we call them they say the doctors is not available and when we call in for help they always tell us to go to the urgent care for help. We have been coming here since my daughter was born, just a little over two years now. Dr. Trinh is a great doctor and always has good advice for my concerns and questions. She also has a messaging system online, where I can leave her messages for her to get back to me later. This is very convenient considering how busy she gets, and she always takes time to respond back as soon as she is available. The receptionists are always super kind and friendly, whether it is on the phone or in person. During my recent visit, my two year old kept fussing, after she got bored of her cartoons. One of the receptionists brought her stickers, a coloring puzzle, and crayons after her shots. How thoughtful! Before the pandemic, they had a few toys out and some cartoons on for the kids as they waited. Now, we usually wait in our cars or further apart outside, until our room is ready. There are no toys around anymore luckily to help keep kids from sharing germs too. The rooms are clean, and there is a diaper trash can in the restroom for soiled diapers, so that the rooms do not smell. They have a decently sized parking lot, and I have never had trouble looking for a parking spot here. read more

*update* We call in to cancel the appointment that was made beginning of the year and found out it was already canceled by the staff without notice. If you are upset because of the Yelp review and choose to cancel our appointment, at least have the decency to call and notify us that the appointment will be cancelled. It took a lot for me to write this review and I really hope it will genuinely help others. DON'T take your children here. My husband and I chose her because she was a recommendation and had high reviews on Yelp. And her office isn't far from where we live. It was perfect! Boy, was I wrong, my daughter was born with a disability along with a heart murmur. Our stay at the hospital was a lengthy one and when we had concerns we called her at the hospital late one night with of course doctors weren't doing their rounds. She called us back, which was awesome, but her response was a shocker. She said the nurses are there, talk to them. Um excuse me, they're not doctors. Again she is fully aware of our daughters condition and heart defect. She showed no concern whatsoever. So fast forward to leaving the hospital we saw her for the first time at her office. Mind you my baby was only a week old, a week! Again still aware of everything she saw that my daughter gained her weight back to birth weight and said if nothing else see you in 2 months for her second set of shots and her heart murmur, dr Linh said "she'll grow out of it." Thinking nothing much of it then because she's a doctor and she is a professional right? SO WRONG. We ended up taking my daughter to children's hospital of la and she stayed there for 2 weeks because she needed open heart surgery, Our stay at the CHLA, we learned 2 things from a handful of intelligent and caring doctors: 1. Newborns get checked a lot more and sooner than 2 months, regardless if they gain back 3 oz from her birth weight 2 days after being discharged from the hospital. 2. There were 2 heart murmurs and "she'll grow out of it" did not suffice because she needed open heart surgery to repair her VSD. Having to relive this moment again to write this review is very hard, but I want to help others. This is our first child, and just like new parents we had sooo many questions. Unfortunately they were not answered and not taken well care of by Dr. Mylinh trinh. Save yourself the heartache and stress, you're just a another number to her. read more

Dr Trinh is always helpful. She's good and always give better advice for my kids. But the way the staff working is terrible and getting worse. I've been here since 2 of my kids was born. They always always do terrible job about telling you bad news in last minute like your children insurance card is inactivated or run out of vaccine on the date you came with appointments. I totally agree with Joyce. I can never get a hold of the front desk or let alone a call back. They would call 3-5 days after I left a voicemail, but it's too late at that point as I would have gone to the urgent care or ER for help. I even came to the office with my daughter and the fact that nurse practitioner just looked at my daughter who seem to needed medical attention just basically shut the door on our face. I get it, it's a full day. But this office would have a full day appointment with babies and toddler getting seen how their weight, height and etc. I never had a problem with Dr.Mylinh Trinh in the past. Been going to this place for three years loved doctor My-linh and the staff there. But I had to call in to reschedule an appointment due to our kids school schedule. Person on the line (maybe new hired) was so rude... answered the phone without any greeting. Resfused to reschedule our appointment, her exact words was "well if you want to re-schedule that will be in December is that OKiee? " does this person even know my kids condition to reschedule appointment three months out!? And then she went ahead and told me "I'll just keep your original appointment" then I explained to her we cannot make it because kids school schedule, and I will call back to check again. 1o.o5.18 It's time for my 6y.o. niece's annual check. Our appt was scheduled for 2:30pm but I called two days ago that I'd like to postpone it to 3pm if possible or reschedule if not because I forgot my niece gets off from school at 2 something. But the lady I spoke to told me it's not possible because there are two other ppl scheduled at 3pm. (There I wondered why they double booked the doctor...bc there's only one MD) Anyway, but she told me it's ok to still go in but just need to wait a bit. Ok, cool. We arrived around 2:58pm, probably just waited for 5mins. The nurse I supposed, weigh her, measured her heights, tested her vision & hearing, the blood pressure. After she prepared my niece for the blood pressure, she said brb and just let the machine do its thing. And she was gone for quite some time... But the doctor came in shortly after the nurse got her blood pressure. I have to say, Dr. Trinh was very friendly and patient with the kids. The staffs were also very nice. Except, they were a little slow...so we missed my dad's doctor appt which I had to reschedule. read more

I originally really liked the dr. when my daughter was born this last July. But on multiple occasions it's been so hard to get ahold of them when really needed and no luck getting a call back when leaving messages. My 3 month old has a cold and they are too busy to fit her in, it was not even an option to try. I will be looking for a new pediatrician as this is one too many issues in a short span of time. Dr. Trinh asks all the right questions, listens to concerns, and is so easy to talk to. Because of her asking the right questions and making referrals, we were able to intervene with my toddler's speech delay early on and get him the support he needed. My older kid's pediatrician, who has retired, did not ask these questions to help determine if he needed early intervention, and we didn't get any help until much later for his speech delay. Her staff is also great at what they do. I would recommend to take your children to see Dr. Trinh. read more

Do NOT BELIEVE THE GOOD REVIEWS. THIS IS A TERRIBLE DOCTORS OFFICE. They NEVER answer their call. I have to go in person to get paperwork that couldve been emailed or fax. The nurses there are super incompetent and always forget to do things when asked multiple times. They are super overbooked and still taking in new patients. The doctor is also nonchalant. All she says to do is give tylenol for everything. She also told us and another friends babies to try peanut butter before the age of 1 and my friends child is allergic and had to go to the hospital. She should have told them to do the allergy test first to avoid going to the ER. I did not try her "method" because i knew my child has allergies too. Every check up is the same, she doesnt care to go into detail and laughs when i ask her to check the childs ears as if she didnt have to and i am asking a lot. I have 2 boys and both have been her patient for the last 3 years and ive had enough, i am never dealing with this place ever again. Wonderful young doctor. My daughter complained about side pains and was walking hunched over. I requested to have a referral for an xray or scan (since I had no idea what was wrong), but I wanted right away. Dr Trinh was observant of my daughter and was not dismissive, I didn't have to try to convince her that something was seriously wrong. When you have a child with special needs, some docs tend to think its some sort of "behavioral" issue. YES, it's stupid considering they are doctors and you would think that they would be able to differentiate. Anyhow, Dr. Trinh wrote me a referral and sent us off to our choice of emergency rooms. I immediately took my daughter to the SG ER. Not sure if it was the referral fr the doctor or not, but we were taken in almost right away and turns out she had an ruptured appendix! Dr. Trinh has been my kids' pediatrician since 2018 when our insurance changed, and I just picked her out of the list of doctors because of the yelp reviews. Although she is 2 cities away from my area (which has a zillion pediatricians), I will gladly keep taking my kids to her and definitely recommend her to others. Staff is nice too. read more

All I can say is this office used to be clean and Dr.Trinh is very detail on every baby. Now since Dr.Trinh is getting popular, the office is always over booked, dusty, and unorganized. My baby has been coming this office since 1st month. Now he is 17months, I think it's time to look for another doctor. As a parent I will recommend if this place keep it clean and organize for all the babies, other wise I don't recommend to any parent to take their precious baby here. I've been with Dr. Trinh since 2018 and I must say I am still with her now being a mother 3. They are always very flexible and have been extremely helpful in covering all of my children's needs rapidly whether it'd be referral, approvals etc. On the other hand, having to go in whether it'd be as a walk-in or reschedule we are always well taken care of. We switched our pediatrician from the Huntington Medical Group in Arcadia to Dr. Trinh's office. This was the best decision for our kids since she's such a great doctor and is always so patient. You never feel rushed by her or her staff. I can definitely see this place getting busier as more people find out about her.
