We got a very good rate, and after our stay, I can definitely say we were extremely happy with our choice. The room was a very comfortable size with two large queen beds, and the hotel even accommodated us with an additional rollaway bed in case we needed it. The mattresses and pillows were surprisingly comfortable--definitely better than what I've experienced at some other hotels. The room also came with a small refrigerator, coffee maker, and cable TV, which were all nice conveniences to have during our stay. Another important thing, especially for families, was how clean the bathroom was. The shower and bathtub were both very clean, with no signs of neglect, mildew, or mold. Everything throughout the room appeared to be well maintained. The location is fantastic, right off Highway 16, so you're centrally located and close to everything. It's also just a very short drive down to the beautiful Gig Harbor waterfront. We stayed on the second floor, and even though the hotel seemed pretty full, it was surprisingly quiet. Our room was clean and comfortable, and there was plenty of parking on the property. The hotel and surrounding area also felt very safe and secure. The front desk staff was always available, friendly, and courteous. Whenever we needed extra pillows or towels, they were happy to accommodate us. One of my personal favorites was having fresh coffee available 24/7! They also serve a nice breakfast every morning with eggs, breakfast meats, potatoes, yogurt, hard-boiled eggs, cereal, juice, and plenty of other choices. They even had waffles on some mornings. There's also a swimming pool that appeared to be very well maintained. Overall, this Best Western gets two solid thumbs up from us. The price was very fair, the room was clean, comfortable, quiet, and well equipped, and the staff took great care of us. Most importantly, it made our trip for the wedding enjoyable and stress-free without having to worry about our accommodations. We would definitely recommend this hotel to others and would absolutely stay here again the next time we're in Gig Harbor!
