But anyway... It had been...a week. My younger son's car has been in the shop so he has been borrowing his brother's car while his brother is out of the country. His brother's car is a finicky starter and had needed jumped a couple of times during the week. Needless to say, my son and I were over the car troubles completely. Well, he got the car started and went to fill it up, then of course it wouldn't start again. We tried everything we could think of until we called for a tow. When Cory responded, he diagnosed the problem before even putting it on the flatbed. When he put it down in front of my house, he was able to prove his theory and tell us where to get it fixed for the best price. Not that I ever hope to have to, but I will be using Cory again if needed.

Luckily it was still daylight and we were able to comfortable hang out until the tow truck arrived (they made good time). The tow truck driver was incredibly helpful; before towing our car, he explored more than one reason the car might not be starting (trying to avoid a tow); he was very knowledgeable and helpful. He in fact correctly identified the problem within a couple of minutes (as we found out the next day from the mechanic). Once it was for sure that we could not get the car going, he obliged to tow the car to our chosen mechanic and once there, he even helped us park the car and fill out the overnight paperwork. **Dangerous towing practices, hostile management, and gross negligence**…read more I had an alarming and completely unacceptable experience with this towing company. The driver dispatched to tow my 2013 BMW 328i Coupe attempted to winch the car onto the flatbed by attaching a heavy steel J-hook directly to my steering tie rod and aluminum control arm. Attaching heavy winch gear to hollow steering linkages and suspension components on a European car is a severe safety violation that can cause thousands of dollars in mechanical damage. When I stepped in to stop the driver from destroying my steering rack, he refused to use proper loading methods (such as soft axle straps or wheel bridles). To make matters worse, I spoke directly with their management, Andre, who shockingly defended this dangerous technique, claiming that winching a vehicle by its steering tie rod is "standard procedure" and told me to go buy my own bumper tow hook. After keeping me waiting for over two hours on a re-dispatch, they canceled the job at the last minute with zero explanation or communication, leaving me stranded roadside for over five hours total. If you care about your vehicle's mechanical integrity--especially if you drive a low-clearance or European car--avoid this company at all costs. Their sheer lack of basic towing knowledge, blatant disregard for vehicle safety, and hostile customer service make them an extreme hazard. I wouldn't recommend nor have progressive insurance have them tow any of my cars. You have been warned.
