Beautiful marina and boardwalk! We came to see the USS Turner Joy. Parking was easy... about a block from the marina. We visited midday on a Thursday, so it wasn't very busy. We were able to find a one hour free street parking spot. It worked out perfectly for us as it took about that long for the tour. There are various restaurant available on the marina. Anthony's is our favorite. This is also where the ferry terminal is. We didn't use the ferry service so no review on that. The marina was clean and had plenty of seating available to sit and enjoy the view. Would recommend. read more

Decided to visit this Marina to go crabbing this morning! Parking was simple and easy to pay. $1 an hour, basically. Arrived at 7:00 AM on a Sunday morning, so there weren't too many people. Got to pick a great spot to throw in our crab nets. Caught a good amount of crabs in 2 hours! Had some fun. Brought home a cooler full of Red Rock Crabs... My complaint is the public restroom at the entrance of the dock. The lock of the door doesn't work and tben there is NO door to the stall and there is NO seat to the toilet. Not sure how you're supposed to go #2 when there is no door to use the toilet and the main lock to the restroom doesn't work?! Had to have my gf stand and wait outside to guard the door. I don't understand how you build a restroom with no door to give yourself some privacy when using the toilet?! Anybody can walk in and see you! WTH!?! read more

Bremerton Marina - Marinas Near Me - Bremerton, Washington

The Bremerton marina was pretty decent. I recently visited for the first time and had a pleasant time walking up and down, enjoying the view. I could see that there were many good options available and a great view to go along. Unfortunately, because of the virus, everything was closed. Luckily, there weren't very many people so I was able to practice proper social distancing. I liked how they clearly had public restrooms for use and clear signs. One thing I would say that took away from my experience here was the parking situation and the area surrounding the marina. I'm not a huge fan of street parking so I was a little bummed when I arrived and found out there wasn't a decent parking lot. Overall, I enjoyed the view and the atmosphere of the marina and wouldn't mind returning again. read more

Took the ferry from Seattle to Bremerton to explore another areas around the Sound. The marina area has a few small shops for food and retail (mostly chains) which gives you some things to do once you make the stop in Bremerton. Bremerton itself didn't have many options for entertainment or stores too look in while walking around. The downtown area is around 4-5 square blocks and easily walkable, but I was saddened to see about 1 out of 3 of 4 business spaced out of business or vacant. There is still a move theater which give you VIP theaters for 21+ (alcohol service), a navy museum, and some great restaurants and small shops...but after walking around we were ready to head back in about an hour and a half. The ferry itself is often worth the trip and it is fun to explore, but we didn't find too much to hold our attention at this stop. read more

The Bremerton Marina was hands down the best marina we moored at on our mini-trip of Puget Sound. Still-new facilities, impeccably clean showers and bathroom for marina dockers, and cheap cheap long-term rates. The marina was sadly very empty for the low rates it was offering and the fantabulous facilities. (Compared to Poulsbo marina, this was like a 5-star hotel.) The icing on the cake was John, who helped my boyfriend get a tank of propane by DRIVING HIM from the marina out to Lord knows where. My boyfriend was asking around the marina about buying propane nearby but there wasn't any facility within walking distance. John heard about our dilemma and offered to drive him. I first came here many years ago and it was a postage stamp of a marina. The ferry wake almost put our boat on top of the dock and they blow their horn every time they left until 1am. The marina has grown up to be a large beautiful marina and they have added a nice breakwater so the ferry wake is minimal and they don't blow there horn unless someone is in front of them. It is quiet with large slips that are easy to get in and out of. They have a putout facility and if you are going to be here for some time they can put you out in your slip once a week. The marina staff are friendly and helpful and want to make your stay as good as possible. The showers are free also to anyone who has a boat here. Not for the good stuff; It seems a lot of the marinas in the area are getting awarded some clean marina award and for what I don't know. Most of them have water so dirty it should be a federal super fund cleanup site. Not here. They have the most wonderful sea life growing on the docks and on the beaches here. It could and should be a day trip to just come down here and walk the docks and peak over the side. Kids would love it! If you leave your boat here the ferry is easy and if you are going to Seatac is is also easy by using the ferry and light rain. No parking fees at the air port. Bottom line: I live here and I'm happy. I've been boating in this area for over ten years and this is by far one of the nicest marinas around and the price is resonable. read more
